GW2 5th EXPANSION TEASER - Speculation

FYI for those who don't know, the Searing was essentially nuking parts of Ascalon very early on in OG GW.
Those trees only grows in Ascalon biomes, they're everywhere from Grothmar Valley to the north all the way to the Plains of Ashford to the south -- trees in Kryta are tall and skinny, so I doubt that it will be the Woodland Cascades. You can see the type of trees from the Woodlands from Drizzlewood Coast and Lake Doric. The world map was expanded to show more area to the north-east, east of the Blood Legion Homelands all the way down to Dzalana. So my suspicion would the east of the BLHL or east of Blazeridge Mountains.
Someone made a good point about how they have used the clickable compass rose on the map for each region and new expansions will be on one of the unused points of the compass.

Funny how you said in the video people said it reminded them of pre searing. Cause I was thinking the same thing. Also if I recall we haven't been to all the old Maguuma Wastes area in GW2 but I could be wrong on that
yea i dont think we have! thats sort of around the same area as like west of divinitys reach! I also just noticed there is another Delta type area that is undiscovered directly south of metrica province.
@iEatyouLOL I played the original guild wars and Prophecies took us to pretty much every main area from HOT. PoF Lws3. I'm pretty sure each area we have places we didn't go to in gw2. With that we still have a decent amount of the map they could do stuff.
I want a pirate expansion so bad though

@7:57 Tarnished Coast is next to the Grove - you totally show completely different side of the map. But both Janthir Bay and Tarnished Coast have deltas like structures on the map.
yes thanks for the correction! directly south of metrica province there is another very obvious delta in the undiscoverable area
Tarnished Coast doesn't have delta. That area was flooded when Orr resurfaced, so I doubt that's the new area. Also, you won't find the trees from the art work anywhere in that area - wrong biomes.

Looking at how the Wizards Vault and how it's almost a patch timer now.. We could be seeing the next expan in 4 months. Since the whole idea of regular expans is to stop content droughts.
yea we definitely could do, and I think we might! just trying not to get too excited since they havent confirmed it yet I dont believe. They might have a longer wizards vault season after this one ends. I reckon once we get to the next season in less than a month, the timer in the special tab should give us a very good indication of the next expac drop!
