You should watch The Death of Stalin. All the scheming and backstabbing around Stalin's power is so hilariously pathetic and sad. This show reminds me of that movie.

That's the principal reason why he treats Greg so badly imo. He sees himself in him and also knows that he needs a minion. That's also reflected in the scene when Tom tells Greg he could have his own Gregs in the future. Or how he says things like "I already have people Gregging for me". Billions was good, but it's growing stale. You can only have so many seasons of high-quality writing before the well runs dry. I believe Succession will end sooner than later, and it will be very satisfying.

Tom is a champ for taking this one, Logan I think respected even though he thought Toms way of going about it was stupid as fuck. Tom became Logan’s most trusted ally even against his own family.
I always felt Logan is like a senile dinosaur with too much power. He constantly makes decisions that people question, including his children of course and is then surprised when people resist.
You don't think that Logan, a character that covered up multiple murders, rapes and other crimes (including Kendall's accident), might be a bit more evil than Gerri?

The writing in this show is just off the charts brilliant. Every conversation is a game of verbal and psychological chess

For his own interests alone... but still more loyal than the rest of them.

Tom with Logan becomes so much like Greg.
So true, Tom was Greg before he came into the picture
That's the principal reason why he treats Greg so badly imo. He sees himself in him and also knows that he needs a minion. That's also reflected in the scene when Tom tells Greg he could have his own Gregs in the future. Or how he says things like "I already have people Gregging for me". Notice how Greg is listening in, he's always putting himself in a position to get some sort of inside track
Also, Greg is a tall guy and it will give him more advantage to hear any conversations.
Okay but "The C*** of Monte Cristo" is an objectively funny moniker
its a testament to your closeness!!! LOLLL
It's just great to be reminded how powerful a presence Logan was. He doesn't even need to say anything to dominate an entire room.
this show is interesting in ways that billions is obvious and trite
Spot on. I genuinely find it cringeworthy when other networks try to create their own HBO-like shows. Poor imitation, IMO.

funny how tom, greg, kendall all studder when talking to logan
That is how you weasel your way out of breaking some news lol
I wish there were more scenes with Tom and Gerri. They have good chemistry. I want the Tom and Greg spin-off just for more scenes with the 2 of them.
They made an animated version decades ago
How they talk: "OK." "Right." "That's interesting, that's really smart." "Alright." "That's smart." "That would be cool."
They're trying to talk around it, whilst being very careful with how much they say.
The moment Tom (and though he didint realize it yet, Logan) got on Logans good side.

One of my all-time favorite Gerri moments! J. Smith-Cameron is an absolute delight to watch! 😂
The Monte Cristo part 😂😂

Tom and Stewy are the ones who always stayed in the “know” and never overstepped. That’s how they ended up on top at the end.
