I know i already commented,but my good golly gosh i just cant comment enough!!!this composer is really something special.listening to this AGAIN for the 200th time!!just takes me right back to the action,like im there!!barricaded inside with gunfight blazing outside!! Then that sweet sweet ,romantic bit so full of love.you can feel the emotion the way the composer has all the different instruments play the exact same piece.almost as if they are declaring their love .thos strings.then at the end ThAT FLUTE!!!so pure!!and wobbly .gives me goosebumps every time!!.JOHN LUNN is that his name?he's truley somethin special to come out of this century.really. i. Listening .im right there!!!wherever his music wants me to be !!!without his music,this version of lorna doone could never be what it was.he sure can inject raw emotion into his music.hes one talented gentleman
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful exquisite pieces of music i have ever had the good fortune to feel !just wonderful! !the harp ,then solo violin answers,then another violin has to join in then that flute!!!answers back,,gaaaawd !! Just tugs on my heart strings only fault is that bit not long enough keep rewinding over and over!!!just special maaan.woooweee!!!
Spoilers: I hate to say this but John Ridd is such a good example of extravagant, Christ-like grace. I could never offer my arm to save my enemy if he shot my wife at the wedding.

Any chance you could record the music from the bit where John see's Lorna in London for the first time? Where she's all dressed in finery going to church? i know its similar to some bits of the music already here but its my favourite part of the whole show! Thanks so much for this....made my day!!!! :D

James Stuart One of the things that amazes me is that the BBC does not have a CD of this music available. Lunn's work is just sumptuous. I especially love the last 3 minutes, but Martin Phipps is also one of my favourite composers, and his work spans some of the best BBC dramas.
