Just one of those moments when music, thank you John Lunn, merges with a Dickens story acted out very, very, well on television - it captured the up and down emotions of the characters yet the music has that sound of a sometimes haunting tale. Whether by design or accident I do not know.
I remember when KLRU would show Masterpiece and air BBC shows of classics/dramas every Sunday evening. Not sure if they still do that (I don’t watch tv as often now) but the feel of excitement as what would happen next and wonder at the mystery of this beautiful story had my heart enchanted as a kid.

Estoy leyendo la pequeña Dorrit y debo decir que cuando leo me pongo la banda sonora de la mini serie de la bbc. Este libro esta sumamente bien escrito y tiene una lectura amena de leer. Sin duda este libro es de los mejores clásicos de la literatura universal que he podido leer del maravilloso escritor Charles Dickens que sin duda La pequeña Dorrit es de sus obras más increíbles y bien escritas que ha realizado. Arthur Clennam y Amy Dorrit ( o la pequeña Dorrit) me tienen enamorada. Ojalá sacaran esta miniserie en español.
@@jamesstuart5904 Exacto, pero no ha variado mucho la melodía para una y otra. Sobre todo el tema lento que siempre usa entre Little Dorrit y su padre. =)

Little Dorrit was broadcast in 2008. Downton Abbey was broadcast 2 years later.
