Brilliant demystification of cam belt and water pump chamge- many thanks!
Nice one guys. Much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to make this useful reference vid. Good job 👍
Thank you, we are glad you found it useful
Thanks for this guys. I've got the water pump and belt kit with all the various gaskets but I I just have to find the courage to start. But I've never done as big/crucial a job as this and I'm absolutely terrified of screwing something major up...😨
Very honest your video. I have learned a lot of things.
Watching you work, I think it would have been easier if you first removed the radiator.
You've moved up to You Tube!. I came in with my Silver Eunos like 2 years ago for MOT..good guide it's next job for me after coilovers
Yes! Been looking forward to this! Thanks
What is the make and model of the cordless powered ratchet.
Hiya, thank you
What was it you had been looking forward to, videos on the Speedster?
It's a Milwaukee, we have snap on ones to, I think I prefer the Milwaukee
@@lightsuplightsdown3018 both! Great tip about saving the bolt
@@lightsuplightsdown3018 Both! Could advancing the timing speed this speedster further - please do a how to and results vid if so. Also, should crankshaft and camshaft seals be replaced too when changing belts?
I have a question about the mx-5 NA, i live in mainland Europe and have been considering buying a mx-5 na.
Now i came across a topic in a US forum claiming that early Miata's used asbestos in their clutch, brakes and gaskets and that Mazda used asbestos in their clutches up until 2001.
As i want to wrench on the vehicle but rather not take chances i'd like to know if the EU mx-5 cars have this as well.
Do you know if this is true?
Koen Jonker If you change an old clutch, wear a good quality dust mask and gloves, don’t blow the dust everywhere, use brake and clutch cleaner on the bellhousing. It’s not going to kill you unless you snort the dust up numerous times. Values on NA’s are going up, get one!
