GDP does not accurately represent economic growth because it fails to consider many additional factors including diminishing industries and services, inadequate income distribution, rapid growth of financial sector, environmental disasters, growing national debt, etc. These factors cause a distortion in the measurement of economic growth. Omitting these factors leads to the underestimation or overestimation of real economic activities. It also contributes to incorrect assumptions about what is happening within an economy which could potentially cause us to make incorrect predictions about future economic growth.
It should be noted that the GDP was implemented during the era of manufacturing. During the past decades, the US lost a significant number of manufacturing jobs and now the service industry segment accounts for over 80% of jobs. The current Gross Domestic Product is an “artificial” and distorted measure of economic growth, and it does not accurately reveal the state of the U.S. economy.

secondary sector (manufacturing),
tertiary sector (services)
By the end of 2022,
the US GDP amounted to 25 trillion US dollars,
including the primary sector - 1%,

China's GDP is $18 trillion,
primary sector - 7%,
secondary - 40%,
tertiary - 53%.
Japan's GDP is 4.2 trillion dollars,
the primary sector is 5%,
the secondary sector is 20%,

Russia's GDP is $2.2 trillion,
primary sector - 20%,

The US GDP consists of 75% of the income in the financial markets due to the turnover of the dollar, the turnover is $11 trillion per day - about $3,600 trillion per year, the percentage of turnover is $27 trillion, of which $16-17 trillion is credited to the US GDP due to financial services and loans, and the share of industrial production US is $3.5 trillion, of which $3 trillion is accounted for by equipment supplied from China, India, Russia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea. GDP is a very convoluted yardstick when measuring the actual productivity of a nation. Here, according to USA, consumption is also taken in as exports and production. We need to redefine GDP on productivity rates. BTW, who gave Pakistanis 300plus billion USdollars? That's a doubtful figure.

What’s wrong with Pakistan economy, it’s a big country with more than 200 million population. It’s not comparable to many countries on GDP per capita basis. It is underperforming at 340 billion. Should be around 600 billion.
