Great photographs.

Thanks!
Now everyone is looking forward to rainy days! Excellent project idea for the MFT community.
They are actually warning against bbq'ing here, because it haven't been raining for some days 😬
@@bamsemh1 In Helsinki? A beautiful part of the world but not a place I readily associated with warnings about not having BBQs in April!
@@simonsimpson4695 Denmark 🇩🇰 on bornholm actually, so not that far from Finland 😊
Thank you Peter for the good tips and introducing the topic. Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Peter, another post that is very helpful and inspiring! Thanks!
Thanks. Glad you liked it!
Nice video Peter, but also like the beard that was coming along nicely. What i really like was that background rock music during the video. Very nice.
The music is indeed good. Reminds me of a band from Maryland named Clutch. Outstanding musicians!
I like this kind of photos.
Thanks a lot for this reflections tutorial and for showing us some beautiful photos.
Thank you. My pleasure 😊
Peter,
A kind of 'reflection' that photographers often forget is where light reflects upwards onto the underside of the subject; such as onto the bottom of an aircraft fuselage. As a painter, such light reflection is important in creating a realistic two-dimensional representation of a three-dimensional aircraft. These reflections give the image its round appearance. If you're attempting studio photography, it's worth using lights and/or reflectors to introduce this kind of reflective lighting effect. And, while you're on a photo walk, it's worth your keeping your eyes open to capture the way light may be reflected from beneath your subject. Such ground reflections add interest and "dimensionality" to two-dimensional photographs of three-dimensional photographs.
Rick
You are right. There is a lot more to this.
Nice video Peter: It feels that since you are no more Olympus affiliate, you are focussing more on what to do with whatever you have at hand rather then being somehow compelled to focus on what you are using. I think your channel has improved, slightly, slowly but it's noticeable.
Thank you very much. Your comment means a lot.
Thank you very much , Peter... 👍👍👍👌👌 " SALUDOS... 👋👋😃 "
Thank you too!
Thanks!
I saw two Peter in same the same time?
Thank you so much for this. Also love the framing of your shots. Kiitos!
Thank you too!
Peter A great video and assignment ! .One of my favourite genres
Many thanks! Hope you have a change to participate!
Thanks a lot for putting this together! Must have taken a lot of effort and time.
Glad you enjoyed it! It is a bit of work always to do videos.
Great video and great photos, Peter!!
Thank you.
A really good video Peter. It inspires me to look at reflections in a different way. The pictures are great. But how do you control your video camera? An apparently invisible extension to your arm when walking then shifting and recomposing the video when you were crouched on the ground.
Love it. Thanks Peter. Puddlegram is the best way to take cool pictures.
Peter suggested that it's helpful to have a flip-screen to see what you camera is seeing when taking those low angle shots on wet ground. However, if you don't have a flip-screen and don't want to get your knees wet while kneeling in puddles, DIY shops sell very inexpensive lightweight foam rubber kneeling pads that will keep your knees dry and stop you bruising yourself on gravel or other rough surfaces.
Rick
Good point Rick. Those knee pads are quite handy.
good video amd thank for tips and triks

Happy to help!
Peter, please place the lens/camera and other EXIF data for the images. We cannot replicate your skill, but can at least aspire to get the same gear as the one used in the photos we like most. Thanks!
That is true. I could do that. But in theses videos the settings are not that important. The idea and learning to see is more important.
Hi Peter, thx for very interesting vid, pictures and of course tips and tricks!
Ps. I think You don't need a hairdresser at all, simply You look like a real seaman now.
Thanks.
Great video Peter... Hope everything is going well with you and your family.
About this assignment, I am eager to participate... Like I told you in your last video I bought an em10 mk iii for my wife, but I have been the one experimenting with it. I will try and produce a photo using the new camera, if I don't like any I will send and older one I have taken before. The weather here in Lisbon, Portugal hasn't been the best for reflections... But they predict rain tonight so I hope I can grab a good image tomorrow.
All the best to you and your family.
Thanks. Yes everything is ok with me and my family. Very thankful for that.
Please send an image. It does not have to be photographed with an Olympus.
Does the camera work well in the sauna?
Yes it does!
Uploaded 😊
Great!
When filling out the form, do you want my given name or can I use my CZcams name?
It does not matter. Use the name you want. Of course using the CZcams name tells me who it is.
@@ForsgardPeter Sounds good. I'll go that route. Will get it sent out to you tomorrow. Having a difficult time deciding. Can I send you two & you can choose one?
Ok, I managed to settle on one after all. It has been sent.
Thanks for all the tips!
Something totally different: You reviewed a Fuji camera a few days ago. Now that OMDS might do some collaboration with Samsung, it would have been interesting if you could review the 6.5-year-old Samsung NX1 with the 16-50mm f/2.0-2.8 zoom. How good was that camera compared to other cameras of that time? How good is the Samsung image sensor? Could a collaboration between OMDS and Samsung result in an improved M4/3 image sensor? Can OMDS learn something from the Samsung NX menu system?
I actually have been looking for a NX-1... lets see if I can find one...
Whatever you do, don’t use your neighbours bedroom window. The police will never believe you. 👮♀️🚔
So it was you I saw running screaming away, after I got out of the shower 🤪
That is a good point. Always go by the book what it comes to privacy.
