For everyone that is hating on Hollie should just keep their comments to themselves! She is only ten years old for god sakes! The first time I watched her performance which was the one where she broke down I was quite amazed that an ten year old could have such an amazing and powerful voice! When I watch this video result I knew there will be a lot of hate comments of Hollie because of all the hate on the video where she broke down and because people don't get how hard it is for children to not get nerves and also bring a outstanding performance! So to all of you hating on Hollie just kept it to yourselves because if she were to read the you guys' hateful comments to her she would not feel happy but hurt that you guys are being so hateful to her!
Oh come on, this is pathetic, there are many and i mean many other girls I've seen that are stronger and braver, sure she's ten but it seemed so exaggerated... That was nothing
I really hope Hollie does well in the final. She was always my favorite from the moment I saw her audition, but I hope she doesn't lose it again because I don't think they would give her a second chance again.
14 years later 😂 but I seriously doubt Hollie would’ve gotten a second chance in the final for two reasons: 1. Apparently the producers were angry with Simon for letting her perform again so he wouldn’t want to annoy them again, the phrase ‘pick your battles’ comes into mind. 2. In the final they’re directly competing for £100,000 and the royal variety slot, it’s too unfair on the other contestants for Hollie to get that advantage then
@ Neppybutt Aidan not mature enough? Are you kidding? He was one of the most composed, confident, and natural performers in the entire show. Receiving the public vote to win his semi-final is testament enough to his maturity, wouldn't you say? ;)

Those haters picking on Hollie like if she were a BLOODY CRIMINAL. 1. Wikipedia results. Aidan 50.6% Hollie 26.0& Greg & the rest 23.4% 2. Hollie's 1 of 3 females in the final, which probobly would have been an issue on way too many males, so the judges knew who they were picking. 3. Hollie & Aidan were much more presentable then Greg. 4. Hollie gave a much better performance & is naturally talented. I'm not picking on Greg after all it's through talent, i thought he was good too.
Don't quote me on this but apparently some figures leaked to The Sun show Greg got 18%. But you shouldn't believe everything you read in the papers. ;)
This show uncovers what the performer is capable of. Most of the people who come here are standing for the first time on the stage, and they have only one shot, so it´s a real test of their capability of bearing the stress and pressure that comes with business like this. Therefore I don´t think Holly Steel should have gone to the final, she simply doesn´t have nerves for this, and I am aware of how old she is. The good ones should resist the pressure anytime, anywhere.
TCJ, Yeah, I agree. I hope they put some kind of age restrictions or maturity criteria on the young contestants. Hollie and Aidan were not mature enough, however Shaheen held his own. I hope Craig has a career based upon his performances. The judges do suck!!! lol But they are stuck in some weird situations based upon the voters decision.

Aidan stole the show he was on another level that semi final to rest of the evening acts but Hollie despite getting Oscars she did well.too and Greg that is mad I mean you can't go any higher
As Piers said, the world is watching this show now. All because of Susan Boyle. It would be really sad if she doesnt win. It would be unfair actually. I think all contestants will have much more doors open for them and opportunities due to the fact millions are watching now. They all should thank Susan Boyle for what she has done for this show. And she doesnt even realize it.
i dont know, hollie was good, she has a great voice and i do believe she broke down, but her mum coming on at the end wasnt needed. when will they realise that having no minimum age limit isnt a good idea? even if the kids were better than the other contenders,there will still always be people saying they only got through because of the ''aww'' factor. this must play on the minds of the losing contestants aswell
The voting for Aidan Davis was 50.6% and Hollie Steel got 26%, so Greg Pritchard couldn't have gotten any more than 23.4%. So Hollie and Aidan were the rightful winners!! YAY!! ^__^
Hollie screwed up and whined and cried about it until she got to go again. I don't care how young or talented she is. She went on a big kid show and she needs to act like a big kid
The whole hollie thing was staged and a ploy, no doubt about it. At one point there was even no tears at all! Didnt get her much further though thank god cos she wernt all that good anyway. Am suprised she didnt burst out crying at the final as well.
like simon would say: oke look, reality check .. hollie is not gonna win tonight and she is gonna cry a lot .. i mean this in the most polite way, but she's got some very tough competition and I think it was better that greg was chosen to compete in the finals .. and quite honestly .. it was that very fair that she got second chance in the semi-final .. I mean, jamie pugh didn't get second chance, he would have done great, greg didn't get second chance, he would have done great .. etc ..
Although Holly had stage fright, to have picked Edelweiss was terrible. Craig Pritchard should have been the first selected, and judges should have picked Aidan. I am becoming dissapointed in BGT with the theory the judges use to justify their selection. Pure rubbish
now look at this..here we have a 10 year old who has been crying non stop (without a tear! amazing how tht is done!) for all sorts of reasons..now if such dramatics are being used for a place in finals we are gona have a bunch of cry babies on the stage from now on..in a nutshell, BGT has just set a bad precedent for others to follow..
It's all well and good going, 'Aww bless her, she did well'. Yeh alright, fine, she sang lovely. But if she breaks down infront of the Queen on one of the most watched variety performances in the world, there'll be uproar. At the end of the day, everything aside, she's ten years old. She's too young. End of.
