Reaching Out To The Interior Indo-Myanmar Border/Moirengthel Maring Village/

- One of the few remote Maring tribe villages in Tengnoupal district, Moirengthel village is located right at the Indo-Myanmar border adjacent to Taret Lok river ( a favourite infiltration point by militants) . The people are friendly, warm and welcoming. This trip is part and parcel of senior police officers visit to interior border areas directives and it is an eye opener for us to be able to visit and hear their issues and pleas,.
