Having grown up in a very abusive family setting and children's home's, it makes me feel very happy to see you guys interact in such a wonderfully loving and supportive way. I always get a little gasp of excitement when a new video appears in my feed. I'm sending you mega wishes for a full torpedo or something even better in the future. Thanks so much for the vids.
Thank you for your comment, both dad and I were quite moved by what you said â€ïž. We feel very lucky to have the relationship we do. Thank you for the kind wishes - I just know that torpedo is out there somewhere! đ
â€ïž
I still think Dad needs to engineer a mud sled to bring back the big hauls!
We are deffo doing this at some point! đđ
Dear fantastic@@Mudpies
đđđ Maybe even a kind of universal transport trolley with two axles and really wide lightweight balloony mud tires (or maybe with normal but dual tires = 4 per axle). The trolley should be made out of grating/mesh so that it's lightweight and the mud on the finds can easily slide through. There are some not very expensive ones on the market. You simply have to change/modify the tires/axles. Something like that:

Best regards luck and health to both of you. đđ
And a bucket to properly dispose of the broken stuff and other trash rather than throw it down again.
@@toniasalways not really. Glass, metal and pottery are natural materials that will pretty much break up and go back to their natural state instead of sitting in a landfill forever.
They donât actually Glass is really a liquid in time it will change shape, but due to heat used in the smelting process the molecules toughen up, glass may shatter but the process will never reverse, as for stone ware or ceramics heat was used in their firing so same sort of thing and as for metal anything magnetic is prone to rust which slowly breaks down into particles of rust but never completely disappears
NICE TO SEE DAD AND DAUGHTER FINDING THINGS TOGETHER SHE IS HAVING A GREAT TIME JUST BEING WITH HER DAD
Donât get why you two havenât got more subscribers!? Especially because of Josieeeee đđđđ„
Hahaha thank you Abi you legend! đâ€ïž
Love the fact that you pop up the âcleaned â version of what you found immediately upon finding it. đđŒ It suits my very short attention span.
Same here! I am always excited when they show the cleaned version right after the find!
Thank you, it's a bit of fun and we like to keep the pace up with our videos đ

Awhh thatâs very sweet, thanks so much! đđ
As always, loved to see you two having such fun.
Thursday morning with a freshly brewed coffee âïž on with you tube open The Mudpies and sit back and enjoy đ. OiOi what a hall, and to carry back to the car đ. Cheers đŠđș........
Oioiiii love that Roger! It was rather a juicy haul, feel very lucky to have found this spot! đ
How good is thisâŠI MISSED this episode by mistake and oi oi itâs a blinder. This is nearly as enjoyable as the onion because we all knew how the Codd saga resolved itself!!! You two really do produce the best videos and this really was pure joy. Judging by the other comments itâs obvious how your channel is bringing more than just muddy marvels. Your joy is our joy. May it last forever. BIG THANKS đđ
Hello Darren, that is such a lovely comment! We really did luck out with this location. It's funny we met quite a few people who had found items on or near the foreshore path here but not ventured onto the nearby muddy island. Take care đ
Having dug for bottles in disused dumping grounds on the Cape Flats near Cape Town in the 1980s (deep sites and hard, compacted earth, plus evidence of regular burning), I can't believe the number of undamaged/barely damaged items you guys are finding just lying there on the surface! This is the first of your videos that I have watched and I already know I'm going to become addicted!
Hello Mandy, I know it really is astonishing! Also every big storm or Spring tide reveals more beauties from the mud. That sounds like hardcore digging you dud! Thanks for your support đ
Oh my god you two are so special I love your relationship and look at all the bottles you have found no one can find anything like this on dry land. How come so many have wound up where they are. You are amazing to bring this amount home. I hope you have cashed some in an old ship to collect anther day. Thanks for sharing all this lovelyness and for you two too bi bi 4 now ....debbie ....
Awhhh thank you so much Debbie! What a lovely comment đ yes weâre soo lucky to be able to explore these areas, a lot of them are dumpsites from the Victorian era that are slowly washing out in the mud/river beds! Take care and thanks for watching
Everytime I rewatch I still get excited.Thanks
đx
Fun as always. I am so jealous about every find. Stay on muddy. Till next week.
Awh thanks Geja! Another muddy one next week and a special collab! đ
Oioi Squelch squad! Sorry for the short delay but we made it! Hope you enjoy this longer episode - another amazing haul at a new location đ Also! Weâve got a MASSIVE restock on the Etsy store so do check that out ( link in description ) if you so kindly wish to support us and pick up some juicy finds.
Josie + Andy â€ïžx
Awesome as always!

Is there a reason why you both don't wear waterproof trousers or raincoats?!!! It would save a lot of washing! đ
I've messaged this before, and am not sure you've seen my suggestion, but you could buy a plastic sledge, and then you'd have a lot more room for bottles, and can transport them a lot more easily? Just a thought!
Sending love from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. đ
@@Toffee146 Iâm guessing youâve never walked in that muck for hours! That plastic rain gear you will sweat yourself to death!!
Nothing but smiles to you both!
Thanks Richard! đ
I've literally started to click the đ before I've even watched because you never disappointđđ
Awh yesss you legend đ thanks Tuppy x

Thank you for joining the adventure! xx
I would have passed out with excitement! Absolutely fabulous haul. I love color matching/blending.
Thanks Heidi! Hahaha we nearly did! We couldnât quite believe how many juicy bottles were laying on the surface đ
That's just crazy awesomeness! You've found more whole bottles and jars than anyone in one sitting! Wow đđ€â ïž
Hahaha thanks Marilyn! It was a bit crazy really! Stumbled upon a treasure trove! đ
Puts me in mind of the late night infomercials "But wait there's more". Always fun to watch you guys play in da mud.
The luckiest, juicy, sick dumpage spot ever. Thank you Josie for my best modern English lesson ever Oi Oi Oi... Luvs ya..
Hahaha love that Janette! đ very juicy dumpage indeedus đ
When you get large neck broken ones, cut them and make them into napkin holders, beautiful and useful! You do great work, I am disabled and canât go out and do this so watching you is great!
You and your dad are a pleasure to watch đâš
Thanks Luna! đ
I'm watching, always excited .
Yayyy hope you enjoy it Anne! đ
Oh my gosh!!!! I would be in heaven!!!â
I love the beautiful light blue bottle!
SUPER ULTRA MEGA HAUL!
Love her energy
Thank you đ€©
Wow! What a bounty indeed! Happy you found the beautiful blue poison bottle.
All those bottles just lying on the surface in such a small area! Nice haul guys! I like the blue poison and those small ink pots.
Thanks John! Its a great spot - we were very surprised when we stumbled upon. So very happy to find our first blue poison.đ
Oh my what a haul! So very many great finds. That tiny paste pot so cute. I'm glad I am for you two. So many cods crazy stuff. Peace love & mud. TomCat
Ayyy thanks Tom! It was a mega day at this new lovely spot! đ
I love how delightful and joyful you both are, I enjoy your videos
Thank you Curtis, that's very kind đ
I decided Mudpies must be accompanied every time by Top Nosh. Tonight's delight is Vegan Cheese and Spring Onion soda bread toasties with added mayo. Followed by Vegan Kit Kat getting snapped with marshmallows at every sploshtastic find and hot chocolate. Why should you have all the fun. đ
Oh my goodness Barry I love that! The toasties sound amazing - I want one now! đđ
You'll have to start packing some shopping bags in your packs so you can carry even more home with you! What a neat bunch of gorgeous finds!
Thank you! It certainly was a fruitful little spot! Yesss we will do this for sure - though I think we may have been crippled if we tried to carry any more đ
Love your videos. Cup of coffee, The Mudpies, life is good. Cheers.
Awhh thatâs lovely, thanks Skully! đ
Great job! Treasure Island is right! I love the tiny cement bottle, the cobalt bottle stopper, the cobalt medicine bottle, the pale ice blue bottle, and lastly, Josie's pale green blob lipped bottle. I love some of the ceramics as well. So many to love, like children, you cannot choose just one!
I'm with Josie. I like the blue poison bottle. MMmmm blue!
Blue itttttt!!!
SO. MANY. BOTTLES. I hope you go back there, and find a whole cod bottle! Fun lark, thanks for the smiles. :-)
Thanks so much! We 100% will be returning here - such an amazing ( but very smelly lol ) dumpsite! đđ
This was an epic adventure...I've never seen so many complete finds in one place. You guys must have been over the moon...lol...so jealous that you can literally walk out your door and find such amazing things! Loved this one !!! Cheers from Ontario, Canada
Thanks Wanda! It really was an amazing day - first time weâve discovered a proper Victorian dumpsite like this one đ we will definitely be back here in future videos x
You two are real fun thanks, for making me smile
Thatâs very kind! Thanks for watching đ
One of my favorite parts of watching you two is the razzing of each other you do. â€
Awh thanks Kerri! đ
So much stuff, you guys make my head spin lol. That poison you found is juice-tastic!
Hahaha the poison certainly is a beaut! đ
You have a bottle collector's paradise there..
Itâs a really good spot! đ
Love the mud muse in the hair
Hahaha produces perfect slick results đ
Like kids in a sweet shop.đđ
Absolutely! đđ
When out in the smell you need some peppermint essence on cotton in your nose. I am so envious now I know what it means to live vicariously thru others lives. Just had major surgery and you were on my suggested list and have loved all you are doing. Helps with recovery .
I'm especially partial to all the stoneware crockery. It doesn't matter what the shape or size in in love with all of them! I do like all the lovely bottles also. Im with Kelly Hawes on a sled! Your Friend from Michigan đŠđșđž
Youâre like me then! A Stoneware addict lol, itâs all just so nice đ we will make a sled at some point!
It's a very fun video. Various expressive bottles are eye-catching.
Thank you! đđ
You two are so wonderful! I love watching you!
Awh thank you Kathy!! X
WOW Mudpies ROCK!! Great finds especially love the crackle finish finds
Cheers Rick đ
Juice itt!!! Wow, what a haul. That particular part of the Medway should be renamed Coddsville! You two are great together, my favourite mudlarks by far. Looking forward to your next film!
It really was Coddsville!!! I just knowwww a complete is going to pop up soon đ
@@Mudpies I'm sure it's out there. You certainly deserve to find one. I suppose they are so rare because people smashed them to get the marble out.
Iâve discovered many mud larkers because of you guys but you guys are still my favorite! đđWVđșđž
Awhh thanks so much Lynette! â€ïžâ€ïž
Wow, an absolute bottle bonanza! The blue poison is really nice, I also like the tiny "giant" glue bottle. Josie fully loaded up at the end makes me smile...
Thanks Nicole! Ahhh yes very stoked on those two finds - the little tiny giant is so cute! đ hahaha that bag was so heavy I could barely walk properly đ
Another fantastic program.
Thanks for watching Steve! Pleased you enjoyed
This was amazing with all of the finds! Great fun! Great round up! Thank you for making and sharing video! Would still be fun even with no finds.
I wish we had Mudlarking in Florida, USA. Looks like fun. We don't have the long history England has. Love the British. I'm actually 51 percent British DNA.
Is there mudlarking in areas like New York and Massachusetts ? Thank you for your support đ
Wow wow wow, what a haul!đđđđŠđș
What an amazing haul! Very fun to watch! Loved it! Thanks so much!
Thanks Marcia, fond memories of this spot đ
Another fine adventure pretty good haul too I must say
Another wonderful site! Such a lovely time!. Thank you.
Thanks for watching đ
I used to bottle hunt when i was a kid with my dad. He is no longer with this earth and i Miss those times dearly. I love watching your channel and all the surprises you two find! Best wish from Muskegon Michigan, USA!
Thank you so much đ, it sounds like you had a wonderful time. Spending time together, having adventures and creating memories are what it is all about. Take care x
That was one amazing find after another, totally awesome. I love the octagon bottle, even alot of the broken ones were so unique. Too bad the tankered was broken. The pipes are sweet....This is a great video!!!

Wow, a lot of treasures, incredible. You found traesures bay. Always a pleasure to watch.đ
Thanks Gabriele! It really was like stumbling across a gold mine lol x
Oh wow! So many good finds! Very juicy!
Thank you Em! Certainly a successful day!
I love the small bottles too. The broken plates would make lovely mosaic art outdoor tables. The colors are spectacular.
Favorites??? That would have to be the paste pots, or jam pots. They would make lovely little paint brush holders.
Thank you both for taking us along on your adventure. Greetings from the U.S.A.
Thanks Peggy! Ahh yes we always love finding paste and jam pots, such usable and pretty things! Take care, thanks for watching đ
An amazing haul! Sorry poor little crab scared Josie haha
Love the energy and excitement đ
đđ
I think it's wonderful the way the two of you get along. Most children don't enjoy spending constructive time with their parents. And, Josie, just my opinion but I don't understand why such a beautiful young lady would have ''tatts'' all over. As I said, it's my opinion and I do promise not to judge...simply an observation, and you are a remarkable woman. Keep spending quality time with ''dad'' and enjoying live. Love you and your channel. More, please!
Hey Louis! Awh thatâs lovely thanks so much - we really do love spending time together, always have done! đ as for the tattoos - I know they are not for everyone. Art is beautiful, but it is also subjectiveâŠWhich is why I take no offence to any who dislikes them. âșïžx
I enjoy and appreciate art of all kinds. Never said that I didn't like your tattoos. And I would never judge you. You are a unique and lovely lady. Be yourself, always. Much love.
@@louisaziz1235 that is such a lovely thing to say! đ„° Thanks Louis
Love it! Think the âscent bottleâ could sell with some flowers in it!!!
Thatâs a good idea! đ
Go Josie! Love watching you guys!
đđđđ
So much fun to watch you find such great things. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!
As always -the best of the best- I look forward to your videos.
Josie was in an extremely good mood this day!! Good to see!!! .... wonder if she had a Buckâs Fizz or two at brunch... đ
I can honestly say Josie is more of a Monster or Red Bull kind of girl! đ
@@Mudpies That explains it!!!! Lol
So many finds, well done
We so enjoyed your video. Best we have watched in a year. We collect antiques and bottles, so your video was extremely interesting. đșđž
Hey Barb! Ohh thatâs brilliant to hear! đđ what is your favourite item in your collection?
Wonderfully muddy numbers of JUICY finds.
So many! đ the mud gods blessed us
I like the cups you make from broken bottles!
Thank you đ
What a great mudlark! I got The Swan! You two are so much fun! Great finds, fantastic video!
Awh yayyy! Thanks for your order Julianne, the swan is definitely a cool one, glad itâs going to a good home ! đŠąđ
Goodness me you got muddy lol. That looks like a lot of fun. I have two Victorian bottles my husband found a lot of years ago, they are the brown ceramic type, love them.
Great haul there.. Blue poison was my favourite...
It's so amazing what you can find when the water relinquishes the land! Wow! We are always in awe of the fun historical finds you squeltch upon. Thanks for the fun and fantastic positive vibes.
Thank you! đ We got very lucky today đ
When you see pottery that is full of cracks with dirt or staining they define that as crazing or glaze crackle. Another thing, I was told long ago by a pipe collector that in the winter pipe smoker would often break their stems in half. This was to bring in the bowl closer to the face to keep their nose warm on cold winter days. Great stuff you guys are finding! Love your videos!
Bloody hell guys! I love those stonewares especially!
Thanks Richard! It certainly was a fruitful day đ stoneware is the best!
Oh My Codd - my fav has to be the blobby chemist - then poison and all that stoneware - really enjoyed this incredible muddy treasure trove - Broken codds have to be marble extractions - understandable - you will find a complete I am sure! Cheers N
I was thinking you could cut down a mostly intact torpedo bottle and make a frame for it to sit in. That would make a cool flower vase. I'd buy one! âșïž
Thatâs a great idea! We do have a few that we have cut down ready for crafting - we were going to make some lamps and things đ will keep you posted! X
Wow! So much fun!
Best little spot for a treasure hunt!
Just fantastic finds, well done.
Thank you! đ
What a fantastic mudlarks!! No Roman but so many beautiful finds. You were both sooo excited i was expecting Josie to turn cartwheels any second. đ€žââïž Excellent time, thank you. Going to watch it again ....
