This video helped me with litterally nothing regarding building an army an getting resources.
How the heck did you manage to craft so much weapons with so few people? By 3 years in game, the enemy lord had claimed all except 1 territory around me and I had just finished creating 2 complete militia troops (only weapons, no armors, didn't make enough money to buy linen). They got raped, even with mercanaries. The guys army is too big for the beginning of the game.

How do I build a manor house it says I'm not at the required level even though my town is rather large and I have accomplished many things
You can still build it even though it’s telling you that you can’t. Just click on it
i made a second manor now the retinue units are locked and i cant disband , now my homew county has 5 armies

My problem is not having enough people to build an army. And making weapons seems impossible if you want to take the dev points that just keep people fed.
how to get the gear swords spears and stuff like that i have no clue i m being attacked all over and repeating from the start anyone advice me
By the time I can build a manor all the regions are almost taken.
I have 62 people over a 100 large and small shields and over 60 spears and swords and it’s not letting me build more militia
Your houses can be upgraded which unlocks bow crafting.
You can trade weapons
But that cost a fortune and I never have enough to trade when the route is 390 to buy

How do I build up my weapons so I can have the material?
If you don't want to go through all the bother of setting up a weapons production line you can just import them via the Trading Post.
You need level 2 burgage plots with room for a backyard extension. From there the family can setup a blacksmith or armoury workshop.
@@iwanttosleep6414an important piece to this is the ability to pause production. This will save you if you notice “Wow, I have 364 spears, and am now out of iron to make Mail armor, whoops!”
@@iwanttosleep6414 it sucks cause once I did that the game had a bug and it never fixed so I had to start a new game
Could someone please explain to me how to get more than one animal (horse or ox) working at the same time? I can only get the 1 ox I started with to carry anything to the houses I want to build. My horse an other ox just sit there even though they have their own stable and person staffing the stable. I don't get it. This is severely hampering my ability to get things done.
you need to assign a family to them... they operate the ox
@@aidancallender9221 Yeah but that's just what I said. I have assigned a family to the ox. I clicked his stable and the plus symbol. He has someone assigned to him.
@@vinvin4884 hm, then it should be working…. do you see the ox moving once and a while with the family?
@@aidancallender9221 No it's so bugged. I had to purchase a whole whackload of them for it to start working. You can't just buy 2 or 3 and expect them to pull stuff. The only way I got to work was buy purchasing like 7 of them. Then at any one time 4-5 of them would be working.

Yeah also have no idea how to make weapons and armour. There is no tutorial in game for this yet that I have come across and I will be attacked soon.
Same I got attacked and there was nothing I could do they destroyed everything
You need a mining pit over an iron deposit, a bloomery to process the iron, and a blacksmith (which is an upgrade for the burgage plot, available from level 2) to produce weapons. You can choose from 3 options, not including bows. For bows, you need a fletcher, for shields, you need a joiner, both of them are also upgrades for the burgage plots and require planks
The way I did it - mine clay, make roof tiles from the clay, sell the roof tiles in Trading Post, use the money to import Spears and Large Shields.

Can I give my militias armor?
Yes.
Burgage plots matter however.
To give militia armour you need to have level 3 burgage plot. any men who live in them get armour
Helmets can be given to level 1 burage plots and above
man this is the worst tutorial, didnt tell how to get weapons etc

He quite literally goes out of his way telling you to build it and showing you the requirements, as well as even recommending when to build it. With all due respect, are you slow?
