- We picked up this 1998 chevrolet 3500HD with an aluminum rollback around a year ago and found out the 454 Vortec had some issues. Well we've since got it running good and replaced the steering, tires, brakes, fuel system, hydraulics, seat, bumper, door and about everything else on the truck so lets give you a tour and show you how this thing gets work done! This one is currently NOT FOR SALE! As always, thanks for watching!

Mortske please dont kill the dandelions as those are the first flowers bees get pollen from them. Without bees we wont have any food to eat. Great content as always !!! Watching from "The Top Of The World" Barrow, Alaska
Great to hear that Chin is working for you full time, you and Mojo and Chin make a great team. Really enjoying these second channel videos!
Really glad to see you posting on the second channel again. More Mortske is good Mortske! You post i will watch it.
More to come!
Thanks for another good one Mr. Mortske! Really enjoyed the family history lesson. Big history buff here, too. My family settled in Northwest Kansas eons ago. Farm is still in the family as well!
Very cool!
Really Cool your keeping the Family History Alive !
Yup
Yea I know millisa stark and morbsky fuck Emerson plows
Loved the Sunny Hill Farm story
Glad to hear it!
Too bad the old homestead is no longer there . Im currently living in my moms house since she passed away the house was built in 1785 . I dig old houses pretty much anything old
Heck ya
Sounds terrible. Love the look of old homes but unless it's done right living in an old house is awful.
Some great stuff just hanging out in a field. I'll bet a bunch of people watching said 'I need that ______!!!'
Awesome, Thank you for posting this video, I was bored and couldn't find anything to watch and this video popped up! 😁👍
No problem 👍
Yay! There’s never enough Mortske Repair 🙂♥️ just the greatest 👍

Those door decals look really nice Sir Mortikus! Hoping this rollback serves you well without too many gremlins popping up! By the way... this Mortske Repair banner is super nice! I was under the impression that they were something cloth or nylon but when I got it I was pleasantly surprised it's much better quality than that! Thanks for such great merchandise! ~ Scott
💙🙏🏻
Glad to hear it!
Chin full time, that's awesome. you both aren't driving a desk for a living, what a dream!
It really is!
Rollbacks are like wrenches; if you're into old cars, you just gotta have one. 👍 And as always....all purchases are Duff approved. 🐶 Thanks for sharing, Mort!!
Very true
You fine fellas saved my ass that day! Had a lot of fun running around the junkyard with both of ya. Thank you again for all the help that day! It all looked a lot easier in the video!!
Our pleasure jeffy
That '58 Buick was a steal. Looks solid, straight, intact and even all good glass. Back in the day those were a ride. (Old enough to remember when they were new.)
I was hoping your decal would say "Duff's Towing" or something similar, but your story behind Sunny Hill Auto is really cool!!
Chin is full time?! Noice
Yup
I had so much fun watching you and puddin at the flea market. You just took off and covered as much ground as possible. I really like the Truck guy as well.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 that was a great story about your family's farm and the beginning of Sunny Side Auto 👍 it was great hanging out at the auction with you guys, no matter what you're getting done it's always fun ✌️🇺🇲
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm not one of the internet no-it-alls,but I worked on junk for over 40 years so take this for what its worth. The hard starting on the rollback COULD be the fuel pump, even if it's new. I ran into a similar problem problem on a OBS, and it turned out the check valve in brand new pump was bad ,not once, but twice (that sucked). So again, hope this helps.

Thank god a Friday Mortske!
Love the story and history you tell of your family. Always good to know where and who you came from, even if you don't know where you're going.
You got a very nice tow truck my friend. I have a slingtype toad truck. And it's also got to lift for the rear t. It's a 1978 Ford❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice to see the rollback again. I was looking forward to hear what you had to do with it. Looking good. I especially like the door decals and the family history behind it. That’s very cool!
Duff was hopin' to be sire of the Sunny Hill Puppy Farm. You'd have made a great grumpy professor of history, btw.
Extended hot crank is usually drippy injectors. That is if its a Vortex. I have had three sets in mine.
Thanks for the info
A channel two resurgence…..thanks Mortske! Good stuff.
More to come!
Love this content...if I press my face up to the screen its just like I am there, actually have friends and am doing what I actually enjoy rather than my regular 9-5 job !
Lol
If u take your water and drench the paper that holds your decal (like really soak it! Rub it in with your hand and all) the paper let’s go of the decal way easier! Give it a shot it always works for me keep up the good work
Noted!
I am a GMT400 guy. So I love that truck !!!
Right on
Great video thanks I wish you could go to more auctions.
I do too
Ford UK used same rear axle setup. You could drill and tap over the key and run a setscrew in there.
Man oh man! You know how to give your audience happy endings. Who can argue that Halibrand quick change wasn't the money shot!
i keep seeing your cad. way cool.my uncle won one. 1961. he passed and i ended up with it. bass module, no power nothing. i mean nothing. wait it had a botton on the floor that would change the radio channel.
Soap and water is interesting to me. I've done vinyl deal install for years. I use windex to remove waxes. Alcohol to remove residue and oils/greases. I use pressure sensitive decals (which that printed decal should be on that type of vinyl) and don't use an application fluid on metal or glass. On occasion I use it for bigger signs. For what you were doing, I'm sure you could have pressed out any bubbles without a fluid. On the back of the vinyl it would say Arlon. If it does, I'd recommend trying to install without a fluid next time. Love you and love the show! ;-)
!!! I spied a 1960 Plymouth Suburban... that's gotta be worth saving! I'd wager Scott over at Cold War Motors has a few pieces you could use for it.
Sunny Hill merch? LOVE that decal! It would look awesome on a shirt 😊
Good idea!!
As always, thanks for bringing us along!
Our pleasure!
Awesome seeing all the content recently!
Glad you enjoy it!
Love hearing the family history. Keep that name going. Thank you for the fast shipping of my new supper scraper and my screwdriver.
Thanks for your purchase
Like the new logo and I like the family history tie in. Good luck for the future of Sunny Hill Auto.
Much appreciated
I know this is done already. But AC 100 epoxy works amazing. Drill a 1/8" hole bigger than the than the all tread your using and the concrete will break before an anchor ever pulls. Great product. Caulking gun and the product. Awesome!!! For a lift probably 3/4 all thread. That will hold anything ❤
Thanks for the advice
Tom, I love the way you put the stickers on the dirt b4 dealing with the rust or paint. That’s how I like to do stuff🙃
Right on
I am cognizant of the Made in USA thing and will pay more if I can find made in USA or Canada. Finding an extension cord was tough. But it’s worth it I think if you can do it.
Right on
Awesome day with ya! Enjoyed this very much! Appreciate ya and looking forward to watching you grow your channel and business! ✌️🙏
Thanks for coming
Loved the tour, watched all the ad's!😊
You're the best!
Loved the video , the Mortske family history was a treat to listen to . Why would someone spread cars all over the place , when putting them in neat rows somewhere accessible would make sense . I guess there are places like that all over America ?? Thank you for the Humor , time , and muscle you put into your production , it was very entertaining . Stuart in Ontario ..
Thanks for the kind words
i knocked over a mail box with a comet something like that. nice way to meet your neighbor . flats in the front always turn out bad.
Very cool
Great to hear you're branching out! Love the Sunny Hill logo! Those two Chevy trucks you were asking about are 1940 trucks. Catch you on the next one.
Cool, thanks!
Pretty cool decal!!! Thanks for the video.
You bet
Glad I am subscribed to both channels. Your content is consistently great.
Much appreciated!
Your Dekal segment has inspired me Mr. M! I was thinking you could fix the rest of the paint defects with white duct tape!
Brilliant
What a surprise ! ! Thanks Mortske

Set the bar low
You’re so Lucky to have MoJo👍
Absolutely
Mojo definitely the man to have around!
Absolutely
Wow! more content, you spoil us!! Some of those auction prices...damn...whoever got that school bus filled with the racks and grilles got a smoking deal! (i'm a big rack fan!!) Love the Sunny Hill logo, though it's very modern -you'll have to upgrade the rollback to match!! It's great to find out the history of the name too! Thanks Mortske!
Our pleasure
thanks for the walk an talk.sirs.
You bet
26:00 Tom, you can tell me about fuel mileage, as a EMT, I drive our district's ambulances, they are Ford F450 super duty 4x4 with a Osage box. Both are diesel. Average fuel economy is 4-6 mpg. Good thing we have fleet cards, we are non-stop filling them.
Ouch
Look at all those model A’s! I need one of those 😀
You should!
Another good one 👍👍
Question, which type of anchors did you use?
Because they typically sell two types, and the cheaper ones are wedge type.
Which work great if they're used inside, and don't experience wet conditions that aren't exposed to freezing conditions.
The freezing being the problem here, because just like pot holes in the roads.
The moisture expands the holes over time causing the wedges to no longer be able to hold everything in place.
The way around this is to fill holes with a good epoxy so that no moisture or air can get into holes thus preventing freezing moisture, and the anchors themselves don't rust away over time.
The better anchors are chemically filled anchors that you drop them into the correct sized hole both in depth, and diameter, and once you know you have them in properly.
You smack the anchor with the nut on it to peetect the threads, and you hit it hard enough to break the container holding the chemical anchor inside to allow it to fill the entire hole as it reacts to oxygen once exposed.
Wait a day, are however long recommend by manufacturer, and then you can tighten the nuts and washers down tight.
Never having to worry about it again, and if you need to remove them just cut off smooth with concrete, and the opxy will be flush so no moisture are other substances will cause problems as time goes by.
Thats the long story as I know you expect, but you now know the different types, and the purpose for them, and one other note.
Chemical anchors are capable of holding far more weight, or load as the mechanical anchors will.
Sorry, about the novel, but like yourself I tend to get into the details of anything i inform people about.
Very much like yourself, but spoken words don't seem as long as if they actually written out it seems.
Just another message from the Odoban Man, as you once referred to me as.
That's fine been called far worse by lesser people, be nice to have a share of the profits from that company, but sadly not the case.
Take care give Duff a good scratch for me
Great content 😁 guys thanks for sharing 👍.
Our pleasure!
Great name on your rollback. It's a sweet ride but it ain't no Bernie. And it's got no Duff cam installed in it.
Rollback makes things easier good to work with friends Duff is good dog and your buddy good show 😊
Thanks 👍
Thanks for the video.
You bet
Hey young man I used to have an 86 Dodge d50 and weren't those the best trucks my father lent it to the neighbor and they rolled ours and 96 but boy that was a good truck we bought it brand new in 1986 Whittier Dodge in California I didn't get to see you when you guys came down to came down to Texas this time around I did see you guys when you're down here in Oklahoma I'm the one that was in the scooter and yelled out Hoover sniff. Enjoyed today's video, good job, I noticed the front plate on the Doge pickup you hauled, you need to get them for ALL the vehicles you lower! Lol

Yes they are!
Dang, a lot of those cars, put you a modern Chevy or Ford rear end with a four link suspension, put a mustang 2 front suspension kit in, your choice of engine and transmission, and you've got a driver
Hello Mortske and Duff Dog
I don’t want to ask too personal of a question, so if I am just say so. I’m trying to start a profitable channel and once I’m a CZcams partner was thinking about starting an llc. Is getting an llc the best option? Is that what most CZcamsrs do? Your the most down to earth CZcamsr I watch, and I figured I’d get the most honest answer from you. I don’t know any CZcamsrs personality, so it’s kinda hard to ask someone. Great show as usual Mortske..
That’s what I did but it’s not required
God bless Mor for flat back how about if you put farm truck insurance and get farm tags it would save you a lot of money tell them that you hall hay just a thought God bless you and keep doing what you do just saying 😎..
I the same problem with a mirror on my Chrysler mini van . I broke one of the mirrors. I got one from a auto parts store. It did the same thing as yours, It would shake. I went a bought an OEM mirror from Chrysler and fixed the problem.
Junk
Love the brit
Enjoyed content sir thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
I like the reason for Sunny Hill. Show us the plow
Great video...thanks!🐾🍺
Glad you enjoyed it
Mortki got Heart
The stock injectors tend to bleed off when the truck sits causing that hard start issues. There is a bunch of videos on the CZcams going through basic checks to determine if that’s the issue but I suspect it is. They made an upgraded 4 hole injector that gets rid of that issue.
Got a link?
hey that back window is good fo chucking cans maybe.
sure can see the wind side needs some loven
Very interesting video.👍👍
Thank you!
