- We installed 35 inch K-9 Super Grips on our KRX 1000. We done this without a torque, I guess you can call it Shade Tree Style. If you don't agree with this method, it's still good to know in case of a break down. Close to a month after we installed these, they haven't lost any air pressure, so in my opinion, it worked. Here's the Bead Breaker that we used www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/81370... Thanks for watching, and Please subscribe

I just ran across this video. When my man told the "look Hoss" story, I knew these were my people. New subscriber now.
That's is awesome. Made me reminisce about that story. Lol. Thanks for subscribing and thanks for the comment, it really helps me out so much
Nice vid and kool tire shop!! Clutch work will be next!
Great channel my dude can't wait for more thanks
Thanks for the kind words, I have a lot of videos in my mind, hope you like them
Your gonna love those tires I took my 29" bighorns off my xp 1000 and put the 30" k9 xt's on system 3 beadlocks so far I've put 1300 mile on them and they look brand new excellent wearing tires!
Looks good guy from work told me about that tire shop same tires I want
I went last week and got K9 35" great place,
That place is amazing, and 10 minutes from my house!!
Love your videos buddy!
Thank you so so much
awesome! I should have not watched this because now I want 35s
I didn't want 35's till I rode with my friend with 35's. Lol
It sure looks a heck a lot better with them big tires on.
Looks like you could even go up to 38s or 40s on those krx.
And it actually rides better also. I can't wait to do a weekend ride to really test them
Love vid, you my kind people have a great day
I just wanted to thank you I have watched so many videos on doing my seat belt bypass and you were the only one that didn't take out the center console to do it it was so easy that way and I just put the same tender springs on mine so much better now did you have to do any clutch work when you put on the 35 and do they rub
You stole my tires off my truck and also hey that's my KRX! Give back my KRX with the tires mounted Tomorrow. I said it's mine so that makes it true and legally mine 😎 Trump truth lol
Good video man 🇺🇸 hope all is well an the machines still runnin strong...and in one piece. One fine ass Rig
I like those tires it’s a great look. Did it make it much wider ?
I'm almost positive it's still the same width
I’d be curious do see how the diffs and cv joints hold up to the 35’s.. Did you happen to know the weight difference between the 31’s and 35’s?
So far there hasn't been any issues. These k-9's are alot heavier, but I don't know how much
Hey I'm currently in the market for a new side by side and I'm just curious as to why you chose to go with the Kawasaki over the other top brands out there like Polaris and Can Am etc?
So for me it was more Reliable, roomier, and rides way better. Also the can am is very hard to see out of. But the kawasaki does have way less power
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures
Yup those seem to be the exact same reasons that everyone else buys one too. Seems to me if you add a turbo kit to one of these, then it would be the perfect side by side.
As a first time side by side owner I am trying to see if upgrading to 35s would be wider then then the stock tires because I have a 6x12 trailer and trying to make sure i would have enough space to load my trailer on any help with this be great
Mine didn't gain any width. Great question
how does it effect the clutching! I like to wheel but also do desert running as well, you think it will work in both capacities?
To be completely honest, I have never rode in the desert. I can't really tell a big difference as far as power goes, but I have friends that had clutch work done, and they said it was a great improvement
did you change the axle ?
I didn't
35s gang!
Can't wait to really try them out
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures same here. I've only played on the steep hill I have at home.
How wide with 35" tires. Outside to outside? For trailer measurements. Thank you
I'm out of town, but ill get that measurement for you in a couple days
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures Thank you so much.
Holy shit bud I have 35 on my truck that’s awesome😂
Lol, I know, right!! Thanks for the reply
Different vid hope you see. On the vibe cubera. What size cooler would fit behind the seat?. Or how wide is the deck behind the seat?
So i feel like you can put a 45 qt cooler back there. It's around 34 inches from the back of the seat to the rear handle. That's with the seat slide all the way back. And there is 4 gear tracks behind the seat.
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures perfect thank you.
You're welcome
What light bar and mounts do you have above the windshield?
That's the factory setup
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures oh ok. I looked at the factory set up, but it's a little more expensive than I want
did you need a lift to put that size tire on?...and i just run over the tire with my truck to break the bead
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏
Thank you for the
Thank you for replying and your support. It means a lot
Did you do anything so it didn't rub or do 35s fit on a stock machine
I didn't have to do anything,
And so far no rubbing
Under 13 inches on the front with stock tires, looks like your springs have sagged quite a bit. Stock brand new should be 14.4 inches. I just replaced my Springs with Shock Therapy Springs, I have stock tires on it still and my front right height is 15 inches and the rear is 14 1/2. Those are the settings Shock Therapy recommends with their Springs.
I think I will look into them. How is the ride compared to stock?
I wouldn't think it would be possible as the ride stock I thought was pretty good. But with the Shock Therapy Springs the ride is even more plush.
I'm sold
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures Hey Mike and a little late to the show I just read your comment section I have a krx my Spring sag I went with Shock therapies valving And Spring Kit and I wouldn't trade it for nothing is done wonders for my machine I don't think you could get any better but it did you won't regret it
Did you have to do any modifications to put 35s on ?
Did you do clutch work to run those 35s
I haven't yet. I have about 6 rides on them so far
Hey bud did you have to tune for your tires
I didn't, so far so good. I have a few friends that have ran them for a year with everything stock, with no issues.
Did you clutch or gear reduce ?????
I didn't change anything, and couldn't really tell much difference in power
What kind of tire are the 35"
K9 Super Grips
Would you go 35" tires if you had it to do over ?
Absolutely
Were in TN is this at ...I live in middle TN ...
Jed's Tires is in Old Fort Tennessee. It's not far from Cleveland Tennessee.
I’m in Murfreesboro Tn.
What is your roof height after the 35" tires?
78 inches, but keep in mind that I believe my springs are sagging just a bit
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures thank you. I have 4” clearance now in the toy hauler and I would like to do 35” tires.
You can let some air from your tires to get in your Toyhauler. I can get a measurement with the some of the air out if you want
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures thank you.
Are you still stock on the tranny or did you have to do a clutch kit
I'm having my clutch warranted now. I had close to 3k miles on it. It just had a strong shift feeling and it felt like I was riding the clutch when I was taking off
If stock ride height with 31" tires is 14.25 inches, shouldn't your ride height with 35's be 16.25 inches?
Greg
Probably, I actually installed Tender Springs and can put the ride height where I want
Running 35 on krx1000...... is that not hard on the aram Barons .....
I hope not, I see post on Facebook where guys have 1500 + miles on them with no issues
Not one open walk around pic. I guess we'll just use our imagination to see what it looks like
Ahhhhhh, German specs... Good-n-tight lol 😆
Stock KRX flares are garbage, get the aftermarket rock guards they wrap all the way and will stop that mud and rock fling on ya
K9’s sure didn’t impress me, never will recommend them
I like mine so far. Which ones do you recommend. I know the k-9s have the nickname "Super Slicks" lol
makes a video about putting 35's on, doesnt even show the tires after...............................
Thanks for pointing that out. I'll do better in the future
So you put 35 on a stock rim 31 ? How does it run
Yes, it's a common thing with a KRX. It does very well
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures Appreciate you
