I always find myself “talking to you” in your videos like, “Yep, me too...ohhh!! Got it! Okay, I’ll try that!” 😂🤣😂
Challais McDonald haha I love a good chat!
I rock back and forth when I diffuse, too!!! 😁
Hey, i just started to watch your videos! I just wanted to say 1) Your hair... is... AMAZING. Wow. Seriously. 2) Your smile and joy is really warming my heart. I'm hoping the best for you and your channel.
Sophie Morin thank you so so much for the kind words and well wishes Sophie!
Love the results! I also diffuse my short hair for volume. I use a collapsible diffuser, Ion brand from Sally’s & love it. Thanks for the video.
Omg ur puppy!! “Hey mom...whatcha doing? I wanna be on tv!”
I just got the Curly Co. diffuser and your video came up when searching "how to diffuse Curly Co.". Thanks for making the video. 💁 I've been CG Method for approx 5 months.
I use the 1907 hairdryer (got it on Amazon) and I love it. It has a cool setting so you don’t have to hold the cool shot button the whole time (which can be a pain!) Edit: 1907 is the brand, not the year it was made... got that question once🤣
Thank you for your videos! You’ve made my hair look tremendously better
I'm so happy I found your channel!! I'm going to try this now. And I love your english bulldog hanging out in the back! I have a male OEB! They're the best dogs
I’M LEARNING SO MUCHHHHH OMGGGG
Your hair looks so shiny and healthy! Thank you for the demo. :)
Omg. I love your dog!!! Great tips!
Yes! Just bought a diffuser:)
I NEED that diffuser! I love that you can adjust the angle, that's so much easier!
And it’s cheap af!
your curls are gorgeous! My hair is so so similar (length and everything) to yours Just a bit less definition, but I'm working on it and I'm sure I could get them as nice as yours! Volume has always been a big issue for me though lol
I love that your fur baby needs to be right there with Momma! My two do that too. 😊
Brava!!
Can you do a video for beginner's I would really like to start taking care of my hair but I don't know where to start at all.
Love you.
Do you think the collapsible diffuser would still work well for longer hair?? I currently have boob-length hair that has very long, stretched out (but uniform) spirals. Also, let me hear your thoughts on work styles. I have a very physical job that is frequently outside (and inside heated areas, so I'm always sweating) and need my hair up. I've recently started using a big clip to secure a swired bun on my head, and it's been the most comfortable and least damaging style so far. But it's also stretching out my curls and not leaving me with anything that resembles my washday or refreshed hair. Is this stalling my curly hair journey? (I've only just started this year) I would love to have long curly hair, but I'm starting to think I need to learn how to care for short hair curls and adjust as they grow. I'm considering chopping my hair off soon to donate again anyway. Give me all your thoughts!
I just tried to diffuse my hair for the first time and I'm not gonna lie it's been a disaster 😂 my hair looks awful but it's fine, I'm Sure I will learn in time 😂 xx
Do you find diffusing better than air drying please? My hair is wavy- curly but fine. I’m trying to follow all your tips as much as I can after years of straightening. Thank you. X
How long do you air dry before you start diffusing? it looks like you left it to partly air dry before diffusing?
It if make any difference the diffuser part my hair blow dryer come with one
thank you for this!! cute puppy photobomb!!!
may i ask where that cute tee shirt comes from please?
Valsveryown I got it from Levi’s!
Lol I rock when I diffuse too 😭
I have only just read about the curly girl process but have no idea which products are best to use… please help ?
I looove yur curls😩😩😩
Thanks for sharing this! Do you scrunch as you dry so you don’t need to scrunch the crunch after you dry your hair? I’m new to wearing my hair curly and don’t have the diffusing and scrunching down yet.
Pamela Fitzpatrick once I have scrunched in product I no longer scrunch anymore! It’s better to let your hair dry with the cast and scrunch once dry because it will give you the best hold!
Jannelle O'Shaughnessy Engels. Thank you-that’s very helpful!
Jannelle O'Shaughnessy Engels Thanks, Jannelle! I really enjoy your videos!
Great tips...have you purchased a new dryer, since this video, and if so, what brand did you purchase?
Does it make a difference with the ion type?
Thanks for all your time & effort to help us curly/ wavy gals
I haven’t! My dryer is still kicking and I’ll probably use it until I can’t! I personally would purchase the same brand again would just go for something with no ions. Ions do matter in terms of volume imo. Ions will produce shinier sleeker hair whereas no ions will give more fullness and volume.
I don’t know why I never thought of that but my back layer ALWAYS straightens out too and the front and top of layer of my hair is super wavy/curly and I HATE it lol.
Hi Janelle, I’m an Italian girl very new on the CG method. I always had a problem with my upper back hair, they don’t curl like the front or the down side. Do you think is a diffusing problem or a moisture problem? (Hope my English isn’t that bad and I could make myself understand). Love your channel 🖤
It could be both! It could also just be weighed down by the weight of your hair. It could also be the curl type. The back of my hair near my crown doesn’t curl all the way up either because it’s a looser curl pattern then the front of my hair
Your link for Devacurls doesn't work
As I watch you diffuse I am just in disbelief! If I touched my hair and worked my fingers through half as much, I would have nothing but a fluffy mess! So it must be your products? What in the world do you use????
I know! It might be her curl pattern/texture/etc. too. But one thing I have noticed is that when I stare at myself in a mirror all I can see is frizz. But, sometimes, if I take a selfie and look at that instead, all I see are pretty curls. I think people are too hard on themselves. Most people won't be staring at your problem areas like we do to ourself, they just see a full head of pretty curly hair!
I'm the same way with lipstick application - when I stare at myself, my nose about an inch away from the mirror as I try to get everything perfect, all I can see are places I messed up. But if I pull away a bit and look at my overall look, it all looks good.
Came for the curly hair tips, stayed for the puppy dog :)
Too funny I can see Mane & Tail on your shelf, we use that for our dogs
Us too 😂
Omg u have an English bulldog 🤗🤗
Natalia Gibbs the cutest English bulldog 😻😂❤️
Dog!!
You like Melissa Gilbert :)
Why do you hold the cool button?
Because I only diffuse with cold air!
Jannelle O'Shaughnessy Engels I have low density hair & in one of your videos you said some heat would be beneficial, should I still diffuse only with cold air or is a low heat setting better for low density hair?
Jannelle O'Shaughnessy Engels i meant porosity, or is that the same thing 🤷🏽♀️
you have to start diffusing the roots because they take longer to dry and if you do it from the ends you wont get as much volume and the ends will be dry not the roots so yeh
NO NOT DEVACURL
