      @@festusaniemeka3350 "that’s an elimination game where's the defense" Dawg in the past three years have you seen how many blowouts there were in the playoffs? Teams were being blowout by 30 points even more at one point. Some Conference Finals games last season were damn non competitive. Weak? This era talking about weak? Really? Anybody and they momma can get buckets in the paint today with a lil bit of talent. I mean last season we had way over eight 50+ scoring performances in like a span of a month. And you talkin about the fucking Sixers against MJ, Pip and the eventual champion, 3-peat, dominant Chicago Bulls? But ya'll wet behind the ears niggas don't get that cuz you hate "ol' heads" so much praising MJ, the Bulls and 90s it hurts your soul.

    6:32 layup is kinda of rare btw Jordan's handles in this game were supreme. as he creates and innovates the dribbling styles for generations of big guards and forwards who came after him

    Scottie Pippen is the greatest left hand dunker in NBA history & second greatest athlete after Jordan...the reverse two hand dunk is the hardest & most artistic dunk for players to make in a game context, and we don't see enough of it unfortunately...if Horace Grant had stuck around for the Bulls' second three-peat, himself, Pippen & Jordan would have gone down NBA history as the greatest trio ever, for he was an awesome player!

    Thanks for sharing this one! Growing up, Pip was my favorite player… his athleticism is near unmatched, he pulled some of the most insane dunks I can think of, and he was a wonderful all around player. He wasn’t the most consistent scorer, but when he was in a zone… look out.

    To those who are saying MJ and/or Pippen carried the team, you do not know how a team is supposed to work. Not everyone can play the same role in a team, especially at the same time on the floor. The team is the team, no one carries them, all them carry each other in their own capacity.

    1:40-1:52 is a beautiful sequence. Only J pulling this off. Tough D on Hawkins and gets the block, Pippen recovers and throws it downhill to Jordan who catches it with ONE hand and pump fakes (ball never touching the left hand!!) , drives and dishes off to Grant for the score

      @@2nerC9 The Magic did a good job in 1995, of course there is the whole 'rusty' thing as Jordan was much more inefficient from jump shots than usual. But in the 1996 ECF he destroyed them in every way. That 45 points to complete the sweep was just a display of midrange mastery. And you're right, it depends on the team. Some teams like the Sonics, Heat, Knicks and Hawks defended the perimeter well and some others didn't.

Didn't stop him from displaying one of the greatest peaks we've ever seen while winning scoring titles, Dpoy, Mvp and having multiple 1st team All Nba and defensive selections. Jordan career playoff average before he won a ring was nearly 36/7/7 while being elite defensively, nobody forgets that kind of production. It takes a team to win a ring, so the Bulls had no chance until they built a good squad, but nobody forgot that 80s Jordan.

The Bulls passed on Karl Malone,Joe Dumars,Terry Porter,Reggie Miller,Tim Hardaway,Blaylock and Shawn Kemp to get guys like Brad Sellers,Will Perdue and Stacey King. They brought Pippen,Grant and Armstrong. Pippen was such a prospect that he started 0 games in his rookie season and was fighting for a starting spot against Brad Sellers in his second season. Pip and Grant were slowly developed into good players, Pippen later on became a star and Grant a really good role player. That's far from what other stars like Magic,Bird and Duncan had. Jordan worked with what he had and the Bulls became a great team.

    Im gonna start with saying, jordan is the forever GOAT period!!!! But i will pippen over lebron all day. Scottie was a hell of an offensive player and he is also one of the very top best defensive players to ever play the game and i think he could definitely slow lebron down. Lebron is great but im still taking scottie over him all day

      it's funny because Doug was calling it out about how they're letting them get easy looks at the basket(although mostly it was just guards making moves to get free), because it's out of the norm for the league at the time - and the first thing i thought about was how the entire NBA is uncontested layups and rebounds these days.
