      Jordan shot like crap (40%) for that entire series. His shooting lines by game:

      Game 2 - 12 for 32
      Game 3 - 3 for 18

    This was probably the last great Bulls-Knicks playoff series. Sure, their series 1994 was a thriller even w/o MJ, but the Knicks had no chance in 1996, not like in 1992 and 1993.

    • @VMakNYC
      @VMakNYC Před měsícem

      Judging by how the Bulls almost swept the Heat in 97 ECF, which was a Knicks clone, don't see how the Knicks would beat Chicago.. unless Ewing would turn into Dirk 2011 with going unstoppable, which wasn't gonna happen with Pats knees.. Also the NBA wasnt interested in the Knicks beating MJ in the playoffs at all. Crucial call against the Knicks was bound to happen if it reached game 6 or 7.@@Classicbasketballdvds

    Game is hella physical , the Knicks big men were legit outside of Ewing a lot of muscle out there ..
    I see a lot of skill out there casuals only think that the new nba is way more skilled than the 90’s and after watching this game and a few others that narrative is false .

      The 96 team was the best of all those teams, but I'd take the first three-peat over the second.
      From 97-98 MJ was relying mostly on the fadeaway instead of exploding by & over defenders like he did in the early 90's.
      The first 3-peat Bulls simply ran you off the floor.
