Pip;s Defense was astounding his range way he could recover & cover so much ground.
When MJ was off he became more aggressive. When MJ got hot he reverted back to the Point Forward Facilitator #1B . Which is amazing aspect of Scottie. Always recognizing his role for the most part. OG Versatilitian

Jordan came up big in the 4th quarter. What a get overall and amazing defensive effort by Pippen. Larry Nance was 6’10” and Pippen managed to block his shot. Jordan & Pippen were determined to not go through back to back 7 game grind series. Portland had already won the west and Chicago needed the rest after a very physical 7 game series against the Knicks in the previous round.
That shot where he hung in the air to get it past nance is really one of MJs overlooked plays in his career. It’s not till you see it in slow motion that you can really appreciate it

This was the Marvel of the 90's. Pippen and MJ was the perfect balance and they adjust the game precisely and on time, are you tire? don't worry I would do your job and vice-versa.

The Bulls were an INCREDIBLE team and MJ was the man, but when PIP brought his A+ game, no one could beat them!!!..... even if Mike was bad for 3 quarters, but 4th quarter game 6, turns it up to an 11, that's why he's the GOAT!!!
