So...I have 3 HP printers 1 of them new as all, hardly been used, and none will print even a recipe, so just a few minutes ago I bought the epson printer you use...I need a reliable printer for my crafts and tee shirts and labels and bookmarks and whatnot! My excitement of doing sublimation died a little more each time I noticed the green tint on every project. I haven’t pressed my print yet but can already see a HUGE different in just the print. Glad it was helpful! In my opinion, it is best to choose a sublimation ink and stick with it. I have only used Hiipoo and I don't plan to change it. Whatever you do, don't put the ink the printer that came with it.

Hi DeLonda, first off I really enjoy your tutorials (I am a newbie to this kind of work), but I do have a question, I have worked in the television industry for over 30 years, and all video and TV use the RGB color space, whenever I had to send promotional images to a printer for posters and such I had to use the CMYK color space. I am wondering if using RGB has something to do with sublimation?

Delonda my highly energetic Cruicuter, from your beginner cricut ear, Cheryl. I took the big plunge and took advantage of your PRIME Day suggestions and purchased the Epson 4800 Printer. I just took it out of the box and finally got it set up. My first experience was a challenge and maybe you told me in the video and I missed it to load the Sublimation paper in the printer. it would not print on regular paper. I loaded the Sublimation paper in and it’s mirrored. 2. Which way should you load the paper in the printer? Should it have printed on the side with the A-SUB writing? 3. I did not attempt the upload to cricut design space, b/c I was a little frustrated, spent over 2 1/2 hours to get this far. 4. I was able to follow along with the video, until it was time to print, upload to Design space and cut. 5. Is there another video with instructions on proper way of insertion of the paper.? Finally, I must say, regardless of what side I printed it on, I did not have any streaks

❤Ms Delonda, I have a question I have a Hp printer, I saw a tutorial on the tumblers and unfortunately it wasn’t your video. Non of the video’s explain that I needed a particular printer, so I took my last and bought a Hp ink jet printer one of the tutorials touched on printers but didn’t elaborate on it. I love dealing with Hp computers and there printers but if I need one that I have to use sublimation ink I don’t think Hp carries what I need. I print via ipad everytime and color settings doesnt allow me to change it to anything else so i leave it on default take off sharpness and auto correct and everything prints great

Hi Delonda! Unfortunately I purchased the ink with the syringe is there another way or any way to do it with the ink with syringe or it’s not possible because it may not be compatible with printer I have an eco tank 2803.
I feel so smart right now. I’m just starting with my Epson F170 and sublimation is not something you can mess up and just remove the image then simply start over - like I’ve done 40-11 times with vinyl. Sooo, I found and borrowed (ok stole) a couple of large pieces of plain polyester fabric at my parents and have been using it to press small images on so I can make notes on temps, times, etc. now, if anyone has any tips, tricks, ideas on how to do something similar with tumblers, that would be great.
Delonda your so inspirational! Did you download the ICC profiles for the Hiipoo inks and install on your computer? If so, can I still use the color management settings in this video. This is just the video I needed.

Oh no, you probably need to print a few purge pages. Make a large rectangle on a plain sheet of paper that is magenta. The hex code is #FF00FF. Print a few sheets until it comes out perfectly. Do not use your sublimation ink.

I have the epson sc 170 And I put the epson sub ink But purchased additional hippo ink Could I use the hippo ink after the epson ink run out in your professional opinion?
Question, does it matter what software you are printing it from? I tried using Inkscape for my first try and the colors aren't bright enough. Any suggetions? I will be trying your settings with my next test.
Your New follower ,i was following th heat temperatures that come with the heat press 190° for polyester material ,but i cant transfer anything and am worried , converted new epson L121 to a sublimation printer , sublimation transfer paper in place ,ink have sublimation dye ink , but having all this still cant transfer , what advise can you give ...thanks

Hi there. In order to "convert" a printer to use for sublimation, it will need to be an Epson ET.

Which program do you recommend for a beginner who don’t want to paying a lot of money and need to work with an easy program.TIA

Question is … will ink ever be more vibrant? Or did I just ruin my printer with wrong ink?
A-Sub is a reputable brand. You will be fine with that brand.

Unfortunately I purchased the ink with the syringe is there another way or any way to do it with the ink with syringe or it’s not possible because it may not be compatible with printer I have an eco tank 2803.

I feel so smart right now. I’m just starting with my Epson F170 and sublimation is not something you can mess up and just remove the image then simply start over - like I’ve done 40-11 times with vinyl. Sooo, I found and borrowed (ok stole) a couple of large pieces of plain polyester fabric at my parents and have been using it to press small images on so I can make notes on temps, times, etc. now, if anyone has any tips, tricks, ideas on how to do something similar with tumblers, that would be great.

DELONDA! I was inspired to update my printer to the ESPON, however, the printer does not recognize the paper due to it being so thin. :(

Once you set the preset, you can use it in any app.
Delonda your so inspirational! Did you download the ICC profiles for the Hiipoo inks and install on your computer? If so, can I still use the color management settings in this video. This is just the video I needed.

Oh no, you probably need to print a few purge pages. Make a large rectangle on a plain sheet of paper that is magenta. The hex code is #FF00FF. Print a few sheets until it comes out perfectly. Do not use your sublimation ink.

I have the epson sc 170
And I put the epson sub ink
But purchased additional hippo ink
Could I use the hippo ink after the epson ink run out in your professional opinion?
If you are able to get every drop of ink out first. I haven't tried that though.
Question, does it matter what software you are printing it from? I tried using Inkscape for my first try and the colors aren't bright enough. Any suggetions? I will be trying your settings with my next test.
I haven't noticed a big difference; however I do suggest using Silhouette Studio for getting accurate sizing.

Your New follower ,i was following th heat temperatures that come with the heat press 190° for polyester material ,but i cant transfer anything and am worried , converted new epson L121 to a sublimation printer , sublimation transfer paper in place ,ink have sublimation dye ink , but having all this still cant transfer , what advise can you give ...thanks
