I saw a video and she was using a spice shaker to sprinkle on the powder. GENIUS!!!!!
Nice! Dollar tree just had those May of 2024
I'm tripping! This literally works! My printer even took the parchment paper without taping it! You have a new subscriber! Thank you!
Yay! Thank you so much for subscribing and testing it without the tape I have been wondering so even better woot woot
I’m running 🏃♀️ home to try this I’m excited 🤣🤣🤭🤗
What kind of printer do you have?
Have you done a wash test to see how it holds up?
Can you do a wash test follow up video. Thanks
❤Oh my. I’m very new to sublimation. And have been watching & learning everything I can about this craft! And I must admit I love it! I was actually looking to see if I could sublimate on a pair of croc I just purchased! Yes I can. And then I found you & you are awesome! The DTF Hack blew me away! Thank you for sharing. 🤗Looking forward to watching more of your videos. ✌️
The wash test is the one that would be the clincher...lol
By not having a white ink under base will not last.
I am new to sublimation and I picked up one of my cotton shirts by accident and sublimated on it. Well of course it looked very light and I knew as soon as I put it in the wash it was going to fade even more. So I printed out the same image on parchment paper and used the powder and put the printed parchment paper over the sublimated design already on the shirt and was able to see through the parchment paper to line it up perfectly and bam, it worked great so I didn't ruin the shirt. Love your videos
What is the temp and time to press?
300 degrees for 20 seconds
Anxious to try this!! Thanks for doing the testing!
Yay! You will love it and your welcome thank you for watching
I am so glad I found this video! I tried with transfer film and my prints through my sawgrass kept smudging. I was going to give up, tried parchment and absolute perfection! I will never use film again!

Thank you so much! I just ordered film this morning from amazon but was able to cancel that and order the parchment paper! Much better value - and I wanted to do larger prints anyway!

I went and bought me some parchment paper and can't wait to try this thank you
Yay ❤️ Happy Crafting
Good morning, Crystal,
I saw someone else do this hack on parchment paper as well.
It worked beautifully!!! That’s a clean release!!!
Thanks for reminding me about the parchment paper hack. It’s all in the powder, and I have lots of it that someone purchased and apparently returned. My friend purchased a dozen containers of BRAND NEW from the Amazon storefront that sells returns!!! Best day ever for my DTF HACK! I’m glad my friend looked out for me while on the hunt for things to sell on eBay!
Great job, Crystal!!!
That is an amazing find woot woot! And an amazing friend at that. Happy Crafting
How did you find it at a discount?
Excited to try it!
Hope you like it!
Good Job Crystal!
Thank you ❤️

Thank you for sharing! I always love your videos they are so informative. Will you do a wash test?
Thank you so much! Yes currently my daughter has been wearing and washing it holding up amazing
OMG THIS IS GOLD!
Thank you I agree such a game changer
I tried this hack finally (however I've never used DTF power). It does work but I wasn't expecting the texture on the shirt to feel like vinyl. I guess it's OK. Pretty freaking cool hack overall.
Yay!! I know its pretty mind blowing
You and your videos are awesome. Is there a way to do this same dupe on darker shirts? I have a sublimation printer so that's what I will be using. I appreciate any suggestions, you may already have a video about this. Thank you.
I’ve never seen anyone not cure the powder 😮 I’m amazed!
Glad I taught you something new
So cure the powder is also baking transfer???
I absolutely love this!!!!!!
yay! happy to hear that
Wow! Awesome!
Glad you think so!
That’s amazing! I thought I needed a higher temperature to activate the ink color.
385F is perfect 👍
Game changer thanks!
Thank you I agree
I would love to see the screen print way of doing this also. This was a great video and looks super easy. Let us know how it washes please.
I'm on it video coming soon! It washes like a dream best hack yet!

Yay! Glad you like it
Hi, I'm new to your channel and Oh My Word! I Love that , we all look into different and better methods then just settling but on this video you didn't mention your name. I will look into more of your vidoes and honestly I believe in trying all kinds of methods just to see what will work better.
Thank you for sharing through the videos and to those who share infor. as well.
Look forward to your videos.
😃
It would be nice to know how durable it is now that its been tested... Great video awesome hack
WOW! Mind blown!
yay!! 😀
Thank you! ❤
You're welcome 😊
I love your videos, thank you so much! Any suggestions for getting the parchment paper to go through an Epson ET? No matter how I tape it the paper jams going in.
Great Job!!
Thank you 😊
Question! So since we’re using sub.. we can’t “print” white ink, so if we print one that has white will it just be blank like usual or do we need to avoid white? I’m super excited to try this!
Mine came out beautiful!
Yay that is awesome 👏
I did it.. and it's a not going back lol the best part is that the ink go to the image nothing after pressing in the paper. I just love it❤
Yay! So happy to hear this ❤️ it’s literally the best
Crystal Ann, First I want to say thank you for the heating the dtf film hack with an electric griddle it worked amazingly well, I also have a canon pro 200 printer wich I will test the parchment paper prints to try and save money on film at least for my light garment t shirts. All my other prints are fine with my procolored printer.Cant thank you enough.
So happy to hear this you are so welcome thank you for watching I'm glad you have found success ❤️
What kind of an electric griddle did you use, I only have a home iron as of right now ! Thank you
Yes!! I’m gonna try it!
Yay!! Happy crafting
Will test it out
Tryed this today it works better than the dtf film thank you
yay! glad you think so to works like a dream
I will be trying this thanks so much
Yay! your so welcome
OMG I figured it out in 2015, except used the wood instead. Never use any powder or heat press. Used my credit card to rub on like repeatedly. It looks so awesome!! Learned a lesson was that after printed an image then I walked across the hallway, it dried the printed sheet. So I had to print for second time, brought my wood sign with me, just next to the printer. Once printed, then put it on wood, rubbed like medium, not too rough. BOOOOM!! Big black, adorable mustache!!😊😊😊
That's awesome 😎
Wow I’m going to try that thank you
Yay! Your so welcome
I also have to try this. I have parchment in a roll but would love to try the sheets.
Yay! you will love it 😍
Yes! Screen print demo, please!
You got it 😀
Thank you so much for your videos. I enjoy learning with you. Let me confirm... that was on cotton? It came out amazing!!! I will try!!! 🎉
This is amazing! I am binged watching your videos and I am learning a lot! Thank you! :) I have a question, I turned my Epson EcoTank ET 2720 into a sublimation printer and it's been great with my sublimation mugs and tumblers. Can I use this printer for this DTF hack too? I also have a canon pixma ix6820 printer, can I use that to do this DTF hack as well? Which one is better for DTF hack? Thank you so much in advance! :)
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
I would love to see the screen print method too!!!
I'm on it! Video coming soon
This is definitely going to save me so much money 💵 ❤. I just bought some parchment paper rolls from Dollar Tree 👍
yay! I totally agree huge money saver
That was really cool and looks amazing! I found out that my HP printer does use pigment inks, so I might actually be able to do this. Thank you!
Thank you ! Yay that's awesome you definitely have to try it
Can this dtf hack work black and dark colors
I have the hp printer where they send my ink to me not sure if they have the pigmented ink they would send as well !
@@Paula-vr5rm I have the same thing. I checked to see what kind of ink it was they were sending and it says pigment ink.
You need sublimation ink
Crystal Ann I did the parchment paper DTF and I like it better than the actual DTF film! The gray tshirts are all DTF with parchment and the white one is Sublimation. Thank you!!!
I like it better as well so smooth ❤️
What print setting did you choose for the parchment paper?
Cannot wait to see how it washes. Please share results!!
Washed like a Charm best hack yet
Did it fade any after washing?@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat
For the inkjet printer and after you put your powder do you have to press right away? Or can you wait and make a lot of transfers?
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
This is great! Nice work. What is the texture/feel of this process versus standard sublimation on polyester?
It feels like a thin HTV where sublimation has no feel
Ur my favorite teacher. Thx. here’s an apple 🍎 😎👍🏼
Thank you so much your a rockstar 🤩
Love it!
Thank you 😊
Can you tell me where to watch thw video for using thw parchment paper with a converted epson inkjet printer. I may be overlooking it, but i cant find it... Such a great hack, i used to do this trick years ago when transfering photos to wood!
Thank you thank you!!!!😮
This is so cool. Thank you.
Thank you 😊I'm glad you liked it
Yes crystal it was me that tried it and it turned out so good. I wanted to send a picture but I didn't know if it was allowed. I was so excited that it turned out.
@@TheKimmyj I don't think CZcams lets you share photos I hope that changes. But you can share them with me on facebook :) Thank you so much for testing this asap I can't believe how it just comes right off the parchment paper this will save us tons of cash. Do you think we could reuse it did you have any residue from the print? I only felt like it took off some of the wax but we could print on the opposite side maybe
Did you say we still have to use light colors ? So we can’t do this on black correct . Newbie here and I love allll your videos! 🎉
Im using the epson ecotank 2803 and using hippo sublimation ink but I bought some parchment paper from the store and tried doing the tape thing and the other way and it keeps ripping it or messing it up and was wondering why and what are the links to the other videos to help out with it or what film should I use or would i have to use dtf ink with the film?
I bought the film and powder from one of your videos. I did pictures of my cat I had to recently put down and they came out pretty bad. I ended up buying an Epson eco tank to make a sub printer. I had sold my sawgrass a few months ago.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hate to hear you sold your sawgrass this hack does work best with it
This an amazing hack.
Thank you so much
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat you're very welcome.
Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to make a larger design than is possible with SG500. I know how to make larger designs, but can we use this with the powder as well? TIA. Great video hack!
This is AWESOME!!! Have you tried it on the brown parchment paper or just the white? Wondering if it’ll make a difference.
It will work just the same :)
