I asked this in the AOS Lore subreddit as well, but as this video sparked the question: what is a Year defined as in the Mortal Realms? On Earth, it is the length of time to orbit the Sun. But I've seen nothing that says the Realms work in a comparable way. Only that we know the day-night cycle is created by Hysh and Ulgu orbiting each other, with night basically being a massive eclipse.
ya know.... I never thought of that before. Maybe each realm has its own calendar? Like a year is one full revolution of the disk that the realms are made of? Good question, let me look for an answer!
@@2Tough So, I actually did get an answer in the subreddit. It's covered in Soulbound. Apparently, the majority of cities in the realms use the Azyrheim calendar, which is a 7 day per week, 30ish day per month, 12 month year.
I love this story! I really hope that on the future we are able to get some age of sigmar video games and play through this like in the vermintide games.
Why do other factions never learn to expect Skaven? It's not like they're the Spanish Inquisition. "Nobody expect the Skaven! Our chief weapons are fear and surprise, and ruthless efficiency, and fanatical loyalty to the Great Horned Rat... Etc. Etc."
I've read pretty much every battletome and lore book for AoS outside of Black Library and there's so many things I've forgotten about that you highlight in such a fantastic way. The only downside, though it's really not a downside at all, is it makes me want to start so many new projects! One day I'll finish some of them, one day.
I checked out Inkarnate thanks to your suggestion. I already made a map and will probably make more. I will say that it is hard to make continuous city walls, but everything else is pretty good or at least okay.

Well i found it in a google search for Warhammer Fantasy Empire stuff. It may be from an old Forge World book too. Not sure!
