Fiat Ducato Motor home Spare wheel & Carrier Install

after discovering no spare wheel was fitted but the space was actually free I decided to go for piece of mind and install a carrier and a new spare.
Ive noticed on lot of Motor homes like this , the space is filled with heating systems and water tanks etc but mine has the Truma system fitted inside along with the fresh water tank which in my opinion keeps them in much better condition.

Nice video and thanks for posting. My van came with a spare wheel, however I have had the wheel out a couple of times to inspect. The winch wire is long enough that you can fully pull out the wheel to the rear and disconnect and reconnect without crawling underneath. When the wheel goes back up there is a noticeable click when it is home - my wheel is pulled up under the van rock solid at this point. You can rotate the wheel when it is suspended to make the valve point rearwards to aid checking the pressure at a later date.

The tools re bars should be included in your jack box mine was under the passenger front seat. I did however have but the short tool bar that actually slots into the winding mechanism. Hope that helps.

Do you have a link for the right hand drive fit. Can only find left hand drive fit.

I can’t think why it would be different underneath. The chassis should be the same.
