You made this look so easy. I guess the way you have built it takes away the need to reinforce the panel to stop it buckling with the weight? Great Job! looks fantastic
Hey, thank you! There was a little rattling noise driving offroad, but the German TÜV requires a second safety anyway, so I strapped it to the airline rail with a ratchet strap as well. With that there is no more rattling
what a great job I would like to know how thick you have used for the metal sheet 3mm is a good measure? I want to do something similar for a Mercedes Sprinter
Hey, thank you! Yep, I went with 3mm stainless. Its fine, but I think you should go with 4mm, guessing that your tire is a little bit taller and heavier than mine.
Considering a similar solution on a vertical door. Can you please share how the panels are holding up after a few years. Is the load of the wheel on the door causing any trouble? is the sheetmetal deforming from the dynamic loading (closing doors and vibrations from driving...) thank you!
Hi. Love this build 😊 Do you have the size thikness of the steel plate you started out with in centimeters? And maybe the distance for each bend of the plate. I would be very greatful to have this, as I’m buliding one for my self. Thanks in advance. Best Regards Alex from Norway 😊🇳🇴
Tell me please. I want to make the same option and come to Europe. Will the police have any questions about certification? Have you ever been asked such questions by the police? Thanks.
Friend it is very cool. I will do the same. in Russia, no one has done this, I will be the first to use your technology. question: are the bolts that are inserted into the long rail purchased or homemade? (7:45 on video)
One of the rare times where someone has shown the viewer how to do a proper job fair play and a great result.
You win for video editing and clarity of presentation in addition to awesome work!
Very cool!!! Thanks for sharing 👌🏽
this was so pleasing to watch. Great videography editing and content.
No reinforcement at the back of the door? is the sheet metal of the van sufficient? in any case very good work ,congrats 👍
That was mesmerising - ASMR for fans of vans and welding, thanks!
Great Video..clear concise instructions. Thank you !
Great Job!
Fantastiskt!
Super Job! Knaller Schlappen, tolle Werkstatt, grossartiges Projekt! Sieht mega aus und steht dem Van! 🤙🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Great work 👏🏼 I wish I could do it on my t5, I have windows 🤷🏻♂️
Hey great work love the printer 🙌! What size tyres are you using?
sehr cooles Video......
Niceee one.
amazing work, the 3d printed cap were blasting!
but what about a security lock ?
therefore I drilled 5 holes in the round plate. You can put steelwire with a lock through the 2 remaining holes
what a great job

Have you installed a water tank in the place of the spare wheel, where can I find it, provide information, thank you
Do you make to order? Citroen Relay
good job, would you install the same for me as the cost and in which province you live, thank you
hi great video could you make one for my ford transit custom 2015 ?
thanks
great workmanship i know its cheeky would you consider making one and selling it? I definitely buy from you.
I to would buy one
Awesome, but why not mount it on the side with dents already there, would have hidden them?
now there is a ladder mounted to the right door to get on the roof rack and hide the dents :D
What’s the name of that system mounting list?
hey, they are called airline rails
Are you going to produce and sell these at all?
nope, im sorry :D
Tell me please. I want to make the same option and come to Europe. Will the police have any questions about certification? Have you ever been asked such questions by the police? Thanks.
Hello, the police never said anything about my "addons", German TÜV also. Because it is removable with tools it counts as "cargo" or load.

@@user-fz9mn7xz6t Hey, they are puchased and called "airline screw fittings". Its a pretty cool system for adjustable mounting solutions
