  • A short film documenting my walk of the Larapinta Trail over 6 days in April 2019.
A tough trail and, at times, extremely lonely. There is something to be said about the solitude that you find in the desert. I have never experienced it before. A great trip that has provided me with some even greater memories.

Hey there Greg - I left a comment here before but CZcams doesn't seem to have 'saved' it. First off, great video!
I used this footage in a video of mine, I credited you in text throughout the whole video and left a link to *this video here* in the description.
Let me know if that's not okay and I'll remove it, otherwise thanks mate!

Hey Ben, sorry for the delay replying to your message. Appreciate the time and thought you put into it. I'm assuming you didn't get to head to Oz to complete that walk in the end due to the global pandemic? I'm itching to go back to the desert for some more hiking!

ok, so during the hike it was much better ,cool vid, thanks for sharing. the ending was great too, i was seeing a bunch of human representatives, standing there in awe, instead of talking, a proud moment for us all. Was that the highest summit along the path or what? Thanks!

the soundtrack is ok, but i was just mentionijng to my wife as this gets started that it kinda sucks when theres that you-tubey soundtrack in the back, and you want to turn it down, but you want to turn up the background sounds, e.g. the city, and road noises. so yeah, unless you "love" (i only like) the genre, then your screwed. Its good to keep that in mind when producing for the masses.
