Drive on a road or highway with FSD. This video is a joke using it in a friggin parking lot...
If FSD is in a big city, during morning or afternoon rush hour, it cannot drive alone. Human help is needed. So disappointing.
A human can drive every day for years without an accident. In any city in America.
12.3.6 cannot even go 1 hour on a challenging drive, without *human* *interventions* .
FSD is a simple minded Level 2 assistant. Nothing like a human driver .
Tell this to 44,000 people died last year in car accident. The U.S. witnesses over 6 million car accidents involving passenger vehicles. Come on man grow up and research.
@@mhsohel47 44k people died. Population of America is *340* *million* *people* . And many of those 44k died because of reckless driving or drugs and alcohol.
The chances of me dying in a car crash is almost nothing. I am a safe driver with years of experience. Born and raised in USA.

Costco parking lots are really obstacle courses! FDS is great as long as you're not sleeping behind the wheel lol

Yeah, I just got it on trial and it's pretty terrible. 11.4.x was actually better.
I actually experienced less issues on 12.3.4. While I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, it’s just not perfect - if people disagreeing actually watched the video until the end, they would see some major issues…but instead they are basing it on my title alone haha
Everyone else is saying 12.3.6 is good
It’s definitely great! But, I don’t agree with people saying it’s flawless and drives exactly like a human with 0 disengagements.

@@DerekDavis213 It can't recognize and respond to all the things humans can, obviously. It is a tool, that is especially good in traffic. I weave in and out of FSD, I know exactly when it succeeds 100%, and when it has opportunity to fail. My brain can relax and zone out when I'm confident 100%. Do not depend on it 100%. In traffic, pop it on and chill. When there are complicated things going on, such as a line popping out on the street from Costco or In and Out, DON'T USE IT. With that being said, this is one of the coolest human innovations in the past 5 years.

Nothing clickbait about it - if you actually watched the full video, I give my reasoning while also praising FSD…
Clickbait. Ugly. Not better than fanboys that pretend that FSD is already flawless. FSD is doing very well for its state. Version 12 is new from scratch and just a few months old. After they gathered experience with that new neural approach, it's done. AI will beat Human easily in every situation.
I think progress will stagnate just as before. I don’t think Tesla is anywhere close to having a system that can do wide scale automated driving.
Agree, definitely amazing but not ready for full automation like robotaxi like people are claiming!
@@singed8853 I can see where you're coming from. When I watch 99 % of FSD vids, I'm convinced that FSD is going to be solved soon. When I watch 1 % edge case testing, I'm pessimistic. But that's rationally stupid! And there is a big difference compared to previous versions. It's all about computer power and data now. It all depends on these two factors. No more manual hotfixing with 10 new problems. Just about clean data and process power. Huang, CEO from Nvidia, also predicts huge steps within the next months. And Elon got concrete with Robotaxi the first time (presentation in August). He never did before!

Clickbait… FSD is not flawless but it works as intended and improving fast. Video not helpful.
Video is helpful. FSD does not drive like a human. That is shown here. FSD still makes mistakes, every day.

Total clickbait. Also robotaxis will end parking lots and will not need to park like this. Parking lots are a massive waste of resources and space that will disappear in a couple decades.

Unless robotaxis can take you *everywhere* , people will still own cars for decades to come. Gasoline cars are not going anywhere.
