You have missed out a newspaper reporter on the train from London got off at Westbury when he saw the horse, photograph it on april 1st after local kids had turned the mare into a well hung stallion during the night LOL
I was aware that an appendage was added by some kids :) There's lots of things that i had researched that didn't go into the video for timing reasons. 😄
8:42 every time I've went I've had trouble seeing the horses even with binoculars
The Mendip transmitter is the easiest thing to spot. I filmed that and the horses with an old camcorder with an acceptable optical / digital zoom. If you think finding the horses with binocs is difficult try finding them whilst using a 2inch camcorder screen ! 🤣
@@sandjtvyeah the mendip transmitter is pretty easy to see at night because of the light on the top but the horses are rlly easy to miss lol
The horse is in the parish of Bratton not Westbury, but Bratton are happy for Westbury to borrow it :)
Westbury is the postal address 😃 but, yes, it is parish of Bratton - which wasn't clear in the video 👍🏼

I know! It’s seems a mad thing to do. But when you look at other horses and hill figures that get overgrown with weeds and loose their shape - it may not be the worst idea 💡
@@sandjtv I'm sure the locals could come together twice a year or so and give it a "spring clean". I live on a chalk hill on the south downs overlooking the Solent & would love to have one of these here. Maybe Amazon or Google could carve some adverts into it 😉
