I`ll See You In My Dreams One of my favorite songs, written 100 years ago by Isham Jones. This is a mix of the different versions I've played over the years.
So glad I ran across your channel. Never in my 80 years have I heard any better guitar playing. I am going to play every one of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your great talent.
LG
@@martinludwig333 I've always loved this song. I's give anything thing to be able to play guitar as well as you do. Thank you for uploading this video.
Martin, are you still loving your steve warnier model gretch? What do you like most about it. A different feel from your matons I would guess. You've really worked hard on your playing. The tunes sound great! Congrats.
Thanks for listening and your kind comment. The Gretsch Steve Wariner is a great guitar. It is also built for rock guitarists. I play fingerstyle exclusively, so I prefer the Gretsch 6122-59 VS, the only wide fretboard model built after the legendary guitar that Chet played. I also prefer the sound of the 6122-59, but that's a matter of taste.
Smooth version. I like how you did the bass part in the solo part (middle section) of the song. And I also liked the arpeggios in the third part of song. I never tried that when I play this song.
The G6122-1959 is based on one of Chet Atkins favourite guitars. Paul Yandell, Chet`s sideman, has worked with Gretsch to recreate Chets old '59 Gretsch. The sound comes from the special TV Jones pickups and the construction of the guitar. It´s the best sounding Gretsch for clean tones. Thanks for listening.
Thank you very much...

Martin Ludwig What gives that guitar its unique tone?
