      They haven't and they won't either.
      How and when did nature decide to create a sexual organ for both procreation and pleasure, when did it start to think to give us taste buds? In order to experience the tastes of different foods?
      Why would nature bother to give us pleasures? If evolution as they claim is true, (I mean Darwinian evolution) why create sexual organs why not simply continue in the same process over and over and over again?

      People misunderstands Quran because they read translation not explanation. Translation should be banned because it claims that a word in English matches the Quranic Arabic word; that is not possible. You simply need many words if not sentences to explain the meanings of the Quranic word.... Arabic has 12.5 million words , English has half a million so obviously there is mismatch if you want to translate an ordinary Arabic text ; how about if the genius mind of the creator was the author of a book called Quran surely you need to do the right thing which is Learn Arabic and see what the fuss is all about....

    • @animimeclips
      @animimeclips Před 7 lety +7

      Salam 239 Salaam br, I understand where you are coming from and that you are correct in that a translation can never match precisely the true words of the Glorious Qur'an.
      However banning translation is where I may disagree. As a practising mu'SLIM , I do not yet know the original Arabic in which the Holy Qur'an was revealed but still want to know what my LORD is saying so I may do my best to follow the Guidance as laid in Qur'an and Sunnah.
      If there are misunderstandings of the Qur'an because of western education, which is to simply read any book and interpret it in their own subjective ways then conversely there are those that have accepted Islam by the translation alone and that itself has benefit.
      What I suggest is that translations should have a synopsis introduction which should make clear in bold type that this is a translation to the nearest meanings of the Qur'an.
      I also believe we now have the technology to endeavour a completed Qur'an online that has side by side exegesis of the Holy Qur'an as well as including Lisan Arab on top of every Arabic words in the Holy Qur'an. Envisage when person gets a translation of the Qur'an he/she is able to scan a code using the smart phone he/she will be able to download a completely searchable Qur'an with full meanings if the Arabic root words attached.
      in my opinion its simply not good enough to ban things , If the rich oil barrens are not doing the job it falls down to humble slaves to do so. Allah (swt) chooses those who have the correct intention.

      @Salam-tj3bv Před 7 lety +5

      animimeclips
      Salaam Br,
      I think I need to expand more on my previous comment. Instead the books tackling this subject should be titled Quran Explained...... something akin to What you have explained. It is simply painful to see the words of Allah translated to inflexible words. Example:
      Surah Alaq: he created man from a clot of blood...... seriously!!....Alaq has many mutiple meanings ...what should have been said Was :Created man from (علق)which means this and that and this and that ...
      Another example: Sura Al Shams : Ayah 3 ( والنهار إذا جلىها): by the Day when it shows clearly the Sun).. but I am sorry when you read and understand the true meaning of the Ayah you will come across a mind boggling scientific fact .. the day does not show the sun .. in fact the Sun causes the day light... how can you square the true meaning of the Ayah with the apparent misleading translation ... see what arabic word Alnahar means: 1. Day 2. Day light. 3. The state of agility ( the root is NAHARA which means causes something to change course or state from stagnation towards active agile movement) hence .. the river is called NAHR as its water keeps bouncing against its edges and hence shaped accordingly.. now go back to the Ayah you will understand why Alnahar causes or clarifies the sun ; is because Alnahaar means the constant state of changing course which apply that to the earth atmosphere you will find that the sun rays carrying the photons in straight lines will refract against the earth atmosphere particles ie refraction which is what actually shows the brightness of the sun effect during day time... compare that with the day on the moon when the sky of the moon is dark even if the sun is up in its sky. Effectively quran is telling us that it is the state of refraction ( Alnahar) is what shows the true impact of the sun when it is up in the earths sky.... there you go the Alnahar brightens up the Sun.... See The translation will mislead ROB the aethiet in this video into thinking that Quran made an error when in fact it explains a scientific fact .... look , Allah SWT created the human genome ( humans recently found out the full code of it, it takes 130 books ( more than a thousand page each) detailing the building blocks of the 20000 genes in very small print) ... the Author of the human genome is the same author of the book of Quran ... he chose Arabic language as a robust language to accomodate his intentions and meanings ( like a heavy net to be trusted to withstand the heavy words of Allah ( full of various but consistent non contradictory meanings))..... another major point: Quran in its special writing carry secrets that are yet to be discovered ... tale for example Hisab Al Jummal : you will find that Quran is full of Hisab Al Jummal based mathematical facts and marvels yet to be discovered: for example Surah 111 ( Al Masad : has 23 words ( 81 letters ) replace the 1st , 3rd, 5th, 7th till the 81st letters ( ie the odd letters only) with its mathematical equivalent according to Hisab al Jummal..you will get 3049 . Now move the odd words ( ie the 1st, 3rd, 5th till the 23rd word ) and calculate its mathematical equivalent according to the system mentioned and add the values also you get 3049...this is mind boggling the odd letters of this small chapter are equal( when added ) to the odd words (when added )..... so you see you lose all of that when think that translation is enough..... say Tafseer translation rather than Quran translation... that will probably be more just to the quran...... one other thing what's with the old English usage when translating Quran.. it makes me shiver I tell you!!!!

    • @jimsstuff2201
      @jimsstuff2201 Před 7 lety +6

      All an atheist mind needs to become a theist mind is for there to be evidence of a god: real, genuine evidence. The structure of a bird's wing is not real, genuine evidence. The vastness of the universe likewise is not good, genuine evidence. It has to be actual evidence. Generally speaking atheists believe in all kinds things no one has actually seen or heard but yet there is good evidence. Ultraviolet light and the movement of the earth's plates are examples of things not heard, and not visible but yet believed by most atheist. The belief in these things is based on good evidence. If good, valid evidence for a god is achieved, which to this point in human history it has not been, then the next question would have to do with the characteristics of the god: his likes, dislikes, etc.

    • @DavonBertoli
      @DavonBertoli Před 7 lety +5

      Jim's Stuff
      The problem is there is an overwhelming amount of evidence for his existence, but my question is what kind of evidence are they looking for?

    • @jimsstuff2201
      @jimsstuff2201 Před 7 lety +1

      +Davon Bertoli Let's say that there is this claim that there exists a panel of three gods, each with his own tasks to do: one designs, one builds, and one maintains the various creations. What evidence would you need that there exists three gods and each has one of these specific tasks? What would you need to convince you? It is kind of like that for an atheist when he hears talk of a god who supposedly does great stuff. The atheist asks; okay, what evidence you got that this notion is true?

    • @DavonBertoli
      @DavonBertoli Před 7 lety +1

      Jim's Stuff
      First to establish that there is design, and to establish how come there are never any conflicting choices, ideas and wills among the three gods. And then I will look at around and use the available evidence, second I will take claim made by the "messengers" who came to convey the message and take it from there, I will analyse their claims against what is available to us as "evidence"
      Now, you haven't answered my question, you answered it by another question, which is really a fallacious arguments, and it's a way to dodge the question, you keep saying there is NO evidence when asked what is the evidence you require you don't even know what would satisfy you, which indicates that you have no interest, funnily enough the Quran does mention these people, Allah has already warned us about these people.
      Which indicates is that you made up your mind to be an atheist for other reasons, that have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with lack of evidence.
      Rejecting God for reasons other than lack of evidence, at least be honest about it. And another thing, why are you people hounding the believers then? Since you are absolutely certain, then just get on with your lives and leave others in peace, why can't you just keep away from God and the believers? LOL

      رزقا لكم
      en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D9%81%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B4
      The word (firash)فِراش
      Has many meanings
      Like bed, cover, cushion, blanket etc..
      If the word is (farrash) فرّاس
      Has the meaning carpet
      They all convey they same point
      Soft easy to walk on.
      (The gravity not being to strong that we hurt our feet or too weak that we can’t grip the ground properly when we walk)
      You can call it gravity or you can call it firash or carpet, cushion, or bed والله اعلم
      Btw In the time of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon Him they didn’t have beds like in our times in fact the Practice of the Prophet peace be upon Him was to sleep on the floor in very congested room
      In the Hadith it mentions that when he would pray in the middle of the night Aishah R.A May Allaahh be pleased with Her would be sleeping and the Prophet Of Allaahh peace and blessings be upon Him would give her a touch and she would pull her Legs so that Prophet peace and blessings be upon Him could prostate on the floor.
      (This only makes sense if they slept on the floor with some blanket not too thick in fact very light. (More like carpet rather then bed of our times)
      There is another narration that mentions that The Prophet peace and blessings be upon him told one of the mothers of the believers (if not mistaken Hafsa R.A) to make keep the blanket doubly folded when she made it 4 folds for the comfort of The Beloved Prophet peace and blessings be Upon Him and he said OH HAfSA return it to it’s original thickness
      The softness of the blanket has stopped me from Night prayer.(meaning more or less of the narration)
      My understanding could be wrong.
      It’s best to check what the scholars or mufassirun have said what the word could mean.
      I only cited Wikipedia for the Arabic linguistic aspect of it.

    Bottom line is heaven has to be earned and this life is the test for it. The life of this world is a great gift from God and even if you worship God perfectly in this world, it would never be payment enough for this gift. By worshipping God you prove your appreciation of the gift that has been bestowed upon you and hence earn the ultimate reward. Consider that access to heaven would be an even greater gift from God, even if you have perfectly worshiped God in your life time. God doesn't owe us anything, and the reality is that we need to be grateful.

    "Science can not prove or disprove god"....that simply makes "god exists" a poor hypothesis. Islam does not prove that god exists, it simply asserts it.
    Also, to suggest that it benefits us to worship god because we then benefit from his guidance is poor reasoning. If he did exists he could give us guidance without the ridiculous need to grovel to him.

    Bro Hamzah might get one of the answer not in a complete sense when he was asked why God created us? He should have said Jin and Human are created to worship the one true creator. Also ask this Julian guy to read the Quran by himself. If he still have issue he can go back and ask. Simpl,e rather than going around and around. This Julian is the type to be only convinced by his own mind. So its better of for him to the that challenge by his own. By simply testing the Quran its quite Simple.

    As a muslim i truly think hamza couldve given a way better answer to why we learn from scholars too.. we don't follow the scholars. We still read their understanding and independantly try to think if that actually makes sense according to Quraan and Hadith. It is not like whatever this scholar says we follow, no it is not like that.
    Also we don't trust our scholars blindly, we still look for evidence to what they preach.
    And the answer to why we take scholars word for it is because we see what they have incorporated into their evidence to claim their interpretation of the verse is true.
    So, for example, has he read the verse? Has he a full understanding of the arabic language and rulings? Has he read all the hadith regarding that specifc verse? Has he read all the revelation reasons of that specifc verse? And when it was revealed? Okay now let me see how he understood the verse. Now we do all that in addition to Personally also reading all of these elements that are mandatory to have a healthy understanding of the verse true meaning.
    The Quraan teaches you the basics and everything you need is there. But the details aren't all there. It doesn't tell you how to pray exactly, you need hadith for that.
    So that's why the Quraan teaches you what you need to do. But doesn't necessarily explain how to do these things always. Sometimes you need the help of Hadith.
    Also regarding flat earth, this is a very controversial topic. Some scholars believe earth is actually describes as flat and some believe it is described as point of view flatness only to show the miracle of how a globe earth is still flat to be walked on. I as a muslim leave this topic because i myself not sure. But sometimes a belief so strong is what makes a muslim different from a non believer.

  • @qutuz9495
    @qutuz9495 Před 3 lety +1

    I personally don't think brother Hamza didn't do a good job at responding to many of the questions.
    The question about whether or not reading the Quran is sufficient to understand Islam:
    Yes, it is sufficient to understand Islam. However, if you want to extract jurisprudence from it, you need deep knowledge of Islam and the meaning behind the verses with examples from how the prophet and his companions applied it.
    You don't need to be a Muslim to be a scholar. A non Muslims can dedicate years of their life studying the Quran and the historical context of it's application and come up with their own conclusions.
    Regarding how the Quran is different:
    I believe this question is coming from the point of how Islam is true and not other religions. To this point, we need to work backwards. First of all, we should reach the conclusion that a creator most likely exists. Once we reach that conclusion, we can listen and judge those who claim to be messengers from him - like Muhammad for example.
    Muhammad, an illiterate man living in the deserts of Arabia comes with a message; _"O people, know that your god is one and I am his messenger. Obey God, and it is either eternal bliss (heaven) or eternal torture (hell)"_.
    How can we tell that Muhammad's claim is actually true? Every messenger must have some proof that they're actually from God. Muhammad's sign is the Quran itself.
    The Quran makes multiple falsifiable claims and makes multiple arguments for it's truth. Reading the Quran yourself is the best way to determine for sure. Here, I will give one example.
    The Quran says:
    > The Byzantines have been defeated {2} in the lowest land. They will reverse their defeat with a victory {3} Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice {4}
    [Quran 30:2-4]
    These few verses were revealed at a time when the Roman / Byzantine empire was losing a lot of its land to the Persian empire (last battle was near the dead sea - hence the lowest land). It was akin to the Soviet Union at the time of it's collapse. At that time, these verses were released to say not only will they be victorious after their loss, but it also sets a time limit of a few years. If this was from Muhammad, this would've been such a risky bet to make.
    A few of the generals of the non Muslims did not see how this is likely, so they decided to convert to Islam if this prediction proves to be true. These generals were Khaled ibn Al-Waleed and Amr ibn Al-Aas. Surely enough it was true.
    This is only 1 example, and o course, I'd into believe it's sufficient, but if you read the Quran, will find many like it.

    That is one of best explanations by a Muslim (a convert Hamza in this case) I have seen for a reason for why Muslims do not eat pig. His answer was 'we do not know, we are just following guidance'. This is at least honest answer. Answers about pigs been unclean and not safe (has to do with environment animal / food animal has) are completely not true and go against every leading health organisation. The only link was with 'processed meats' by World Health Organisation and that follows processed for both pork as well as other meats beef, lamb, chicken etc etc. Fact is, there is no rational reason not to eat Pork (as preference for taste if the animal is raised healthy) other than in this case if you are a Muslim and just following some scripture. Respectful answer.

    When eart is described for making roads and paths, it is described as spread out like a carpet-- Engineering.
    So, bear in mind that technichal words and the purpose of earth is different in astronomy vs engineering. That is why Quran has used different technichal words for earth: 'spherical or ball shaped' for astronomy and 'spread out" for engineering.
    Look at the context of the surah's which talk about earth. Dont mix teaching of astronomy with engineering.

    Two very very important points that need to be addressed one is about the verses and the other is inheritance :
    1- the scholars that give their opinions on a verse have to provide a sound accepted evidence on their opinion which follows very strict rules of proof and logic and assessing the authenticity of their evidence such as the prophet's commentary on those verses peace be upon him.
    2- in inheritance there are two important factors in inheritance and they are relation to the deceased as in how close it is and level of generation so a younger generation would receive more inheritance than an older one for example finally and most importantly about women within these parameters of relations in thirty instances a woman would inherit exactly like a man or more than a man or she would inherit and a man wouldn't and in only four she gets less but in those four the man is required to be her provider and can't be full while she is hungry or warm while she is cold.

    It's simple:
    Even the Muslim scholar is actually debated and he has to give his reasons.
    For example, Ibn Kathir which is a commentary of the Quran.
    If ibn Kathir says, the verse means this, "HE HAS TO PROVIDE HIS EVIDENCE!" then other scholars might agree with him or disagree and if they disagree they too have to show evidence too.
    Any scholar or Islam can be refuted by other scholars. And if they are refuted its called Ijtihad which means he tried to understand it.

Someone is tall as a building: is that person really as tall as a building? Someone is mad as hell, does it mean that hell is a person? So when it is said that the earth spread out like a carpet it simply means that the earth is vast and spread out is all direction... simple.
    Regarding the egg shape of earth: the guy said the egg is flattened on it horizontal axis. Well to say that you first have to assume that the flat side is the horizontal axis... however there are no right and wrong way to set the axis on an egg.

    God doesn't need anyone to worship him because he doesn't gain anything for your worship but you benefit from worshipping him because the guidelines and teachings that are taught to you are to benefit YOU and make your life better it doesnt benefit him. In regards to heaven and hell when it comes to hell for people that don't believe him god has a right to punish you because you didn't appreciate what he gave you neither did you thank him for your blessings. God WANTS to help you because he is the kindest and his help is part of his existence heaven is a form of thanks fpr people who appreciated what he blessed them with and followed his teachkngs which again is benefitting you not him. This life is nothung but a test do whats right and you pass do whars wrong and you fail and the punishment for failing is unbelievably paimful. God Doesn't Relay on us !!
    God Doesn't Rely On anything !!
    And Just Simply Because he is the All/Most Merciful He forgave Adam.
    But he didn't Forgive Satan.
    He is even Telling you that there is another world Out there that you don't know nothing of. 4%
    We are all Made and Given light and life to the Souls by God the Most Merciful.
    We all come through our Great Mothers.
    The Earth is a Mother. SO are you Claiming to be The Dominant ones by just being Man As God ? Look around you ? Look at all the Other Species. God Being Man and Man Being God is The Worst Heresy. As it is already Bias towards male. and what about that Frog and that Bird ?
    That's why the Term Allah Is Neither Male Nor Female and Stand Alone on its Axis firmly.
    That's why in Islam We refute the Idea of any Imaginary Imagery in a place no one should be as no one is as close as figuring out the meaning of infinity.
    What Does "Most" or "All" Really Mean <
    A place that really should be free/above from any human comprehension.

    Mash Allah brother Hamza you're doing good work Alhamdullilah you've inspired me to delve deeper into the Quran and study it more seriously.
    Something I've noticed when he talks to people is he asks them questions that he knows they can't answer. it's a psychological tactic that shows them how little they actually know about certain matters, for example they claim to know the Quran or the Bible but Hamza will ask them what does the Quran say about so & so and they're completely flustered and he says well you just claimed to know...it's hilarious to watch because it happens in almost every episode!

    Quran is basically giving you the telegraphic message but for deeper understanding, you have to refer to authentic of Prophet Mohammed (pbwh). Quran states obey the God and His messenger. Peace

    Hamza states that we can't prove or disprove God. So that's admitting to believe in something that can't be shown to exist. Even though that belief in an unproven God may bring about a better life by following God's teachings, that doesn't mean that God actually exists. That's like saying I am going to believe in the God of exercise. As long as I follow his teachings about exercise and staying in good health, then I will live a better/healthier life. Still no evidence that this god actually exists....
