@@don1041 Possibly. I mean, there are some sci-fi-y though experiments about faster than light travel. The warp drive from Star Trek is actually one of them. It requires you to form a "bubble of space" around your craft and then - somehow - to move this bubble around. That way you can cheat the speed limit, since - according to your bubble - you're not going faster than light (you're actually not going anywhere at all) and the limit does not apply to movements in the fabric of spacetime. (That's the rough idea. Of course, the actual reasoning behind this though experiment is more sophisticated.) Such a warp drive is furthermore not restricted to hyperlight travel, thus could theoretically allow for such physics denying maneuvers.
Now, since gravity is uniform in all directions, slight disturbances in "bubbles" of any kind would lead to their collapse rather quickly. Therefore, for such a bubble of space to form and keep stable, it might be benefical if your craft is highly symmetrical. Perfect spheres might even be better, but impractical, wherefore this "tic tac shape" could be compromise that turned out to work.

Plus, he has a credible background (like being in the navy), and since he's encountered the phenomena himself, it basically confirms he's saying the truth and had seen how the UAP acted.
Although I am still skeptical, not to the point that I'm crazy over heels on this thing, I am starting to loosen up due to the congressional hearing a few days ago, and hearing the three guys themselves (David Grusch, David Fravor, and Ryan Graves) with credible backgrounds act as witness and answer questions from congress sounds too unreal to me.
Whatever happens in the next few days or weeks, it'll be big, either the US or the world, it'll affect everyone.
And lastly, even if it's a big nothingburger, hearing from Grusch himself that people he personally know was hurt thanks to the government trying to keep the secrecy is another big issue, that's why all of this is happening, for the sake of transparency or other reasons (like UAPs and such).

At 17:09 he says "look on the SA" referring to the Situational Awareness page of the MFD. It shows a combination of Link tracks derived from the fighter radars as well as ground or sea based radars supplying information through the data link. It shows an overhead view of the pilots in relation to their surroundings. The pilot did not say "AESA" as the video transcript shows. It's a slight difference but I think an important one as the SA page is showing a fusion of different sensors, not just one radar display as "AESA" (active electronically scanned array) implies

It was a common sense in the CIA that Russia was developing hypersonic missiles. So DARPA ordered to Raytheon a new very energetic RADAR to test if the super hot gas bubble in the nose of such missiles would turn them truly stealth as supposed by the scientists. And all the rest (to convince public opinion that the sight was an ET flying saucer like in the 50s) was a tremendous "tic tac" intentional operation to cover the test of that anti hypersonic missiles strategic RADAR to the own curious American public and national Press and abroad.

If it was alien, it most likely was a drone, and most likely taking samples and analyzing the ocean for components, if it has any life. Perhaps these drones expected microbe life on this planet, so the best way to find any is in the ocean. Like i don't believe these kind of stuff, but that was the best explanation of these alien drones.

I know they're pilots and must be quite intelligent to have gotten where they are. They don't just accept any idiot, but honestly when they things like that it makes me wonder just how intelligent they are and if they're misinterpreting the images.
@@ttk519 Where are the rotors? And unless they've got awesome batteries the public doesn't know about then no quad can fly for 12 hours and certainly not at supersonic speeds. Helicopters max out at about 400kms/ 250mph

I'm an airline pilot and have been flying over 34 years and have never seen a UFO. My son is a regional airline pilot and had a sighting on a night flight from Charlotte, NC to Mobile, AL. He along with his captain and several other airliners flying that night witnessed a group of 3 to 4 objects at very high altitude and maneuvering in a very unusual manor. Several of the copilots I fly with have also told me they have seen objects they can't explain. Something is definitely strange in the neighborhood.
It's tech created by very private divisions of military contractors, like lockheed skunkworks.

Yep.. Pilot undergoing military psychological experiment- helmet "spoofing" objects. Radar spoofing too. They were testing how convincing their attacks would be on trained personnel. They even tried spoofing unrealistic physics in the simulated objects to see if their operators would catch on.. Lol

@ShaunDoesMusic I've seen this as an explanation. But there are actual problems with that explanation.
Laser induction would create a hot outline, rather than a hot solid on an IR camera (try it sometime, it's a bit involved to set up but not terribly expensive if you use recycled electronics).
Also, laser image induction hot enough to make something that appears solid in daylight has a tendency to "spark" the air, more than showing a solid white shape. This is because it converts the air molecules to plasma in order to achieve that effect.
It also leaves telltale smoke, which was certainly not on the video.
And none of these points represents a "smoking gun" theory that debunks or supports the whole event (or something equally silly), it's just that it clearly doesn't behave in that known way, and so that particular explanation doesn't quite hold the credibility needed to accept it.

The fact that these stories are coming from high ranking military officers at the height of their careers makes it so much more credible. These aren’t jokers or even new officers, these are 40 year olds with 20+ years experience, and they are convinced.
I'm pretty sure you could find high ranking military officers that claim they saw ghosts or the Virgin Mary.

And yet "more credible" does not equal certainty. There's plenty of convincing arguments that these are mundane phenomena that otherwise professional servicemen have mistaken for something otherworldly.

-multiple pilots witnessing stuff on their systems.
-actually tracking these phenomena on cameras
-the radar teams picking up unusual behaviour for longer than a week
-systems were re-calibrated
-people with dozens of years of experience, training to use these systems
I remember the pilot who said he encountered a giant snake, I can understand scepticism for his account of that creature even with his years of experience and very solid career (even with the photo being rather low quality) sure that you could deny… but this is many people and multi-million dollar even billions put into this hardware and software.
