  • Hey everyone! Check out my test ride of the 2021 Indian Roadmaster Limited at my recent visit to Indian Demo Day at Twigg Indian in Hagerstown! This is the very first time I've thrown a leg over an Indian Roadmaster. It's essentially a Chieftain with lowers and a tour pack...but felt very different! Not only that, but this bike has Indian's ClimaCommand heating/cooling seat! Was it as-advertised? I have two words for you: Ride Command! 😂 Check it out!
    Until next week - a great ride through the WV twisties to Deep Creek Lake, MD - stay safe out there!

    I just got this same bike in Crimson Metallic with 890 miles on it. Still getting used to it as my riding background is 40+ years of MX and supermoto street bikes.....so it's a completely different riding experience...lol.
    I love it....its like riding around on my couch! Very comfortable and great amenities. Im planning on taking some trips on it when the weather is nice.

      PS Don’t feel you need to convince yourself that the Rogue seat is good if you start questioning it after a couple thousand miles. After putting 11k on that seat on my old Chieftain, my ass still hurts a few years later! 🤣

      Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I only have a few 20 mile rides on it so far. I'm so used to seats that feel like bricks on MX bikes and standing on the pegs.....so this feels like a Lazy boy on wheels to me.....but I'm sure that after a few hundred miles in a day, I'll know if I should change the seat it for something more plush.

    That Indian Hauler cab 🤯
    Did some demo rides during bike week in new hampshire. The people working there were super nice and helpful. We got to ride a little early. Only questions upon return were: what did you think and what do you want to ride next. Did sports chief, FTR and a chieftain. I didn’t take out any of the bike tourers. But I love all the roadmaster includes. The challenger is nice too. You want performance or comforts. Next year or two going to be owning one of them!! 😎

    I test rode the roadmaster limited. It felt much lighter than my HD ultra. It sat lower as well. The cooled seat feature really worked well . I found it to be very comfortable. Love it! You go test ride the Harleys you will feel what heavy feels like.

      I’m jealous Harry! All I’ve heard is that ClimaCommand works great, so too bad I didn’t get the experience! I felt the SG felt a lot heavier than the Chieftain, so my guess is I’d absolutely agree with you. lol But I’ll go ride one anyway - I do test rides any chance I can get! 😉

      @@DMVSoloRider it was a warm day in FL when I rode it just a short time. I could feel the seat getting cool as I rode. I thought it was a gimmick, but it really works! I live in a hot climate so the seat was a nice feature. The bike I rode sounded good too. A set of mufflers would really sound nice. My main concern is the heat off the engine. I did feel it but it wasn't too bad.

    Tested a Roadmaster a couple of years ago when shopping. Really liked it. Really comfortable. My wife was pretty bummed when I went a different direction. I'm pretty sure there will be a Roadmaster in my garage when the current bike is paid for. Ride safe!

      @@DMVSoloRider sweet. yea it’s lower C.G. makes a world of difference in cornering and at a stop.soft on the butt but no climate command their commander. it’s very quiet if that a bother but on long trips you don’t need all that noise. just turn the key and ride. ☮️

      @DMVSoloRider  Před 3 lety

      The Chieftain and all of the Indian’s have a low CG too. That’s why I was caught off guard by the Roadmaster. I would never have expected the lowers and tour pack to make that much of a difference. Still a great ride!

      @@DMVSoloRider yes i have a harley to and understand while in riding dynamics it’s feels good if you like allot of buffering between your legs to expel the heat and carnage that flies thru there. the F6B creates a comfort zone and protected me from a kama kazi hub cap flying my direction on the freeway. and the radiators on the side sorta make it nicer for the rider especially on cool days just stick your hand outside the airstream and feel the heated air from the radiators. i like twins too especially big bores. but have found over the years small bore with more cyclinder runs smoother and quieter ☮️

    The "demo" bikes are never tuned correctly or have all the features working because they're demo bikes.... I'm pretty sure that was the exact words I was told the last time I went to a demo day from the Indian rep. I took a RMDH in white out and it was a dawg, no pick up even in sport mode with the 116 in it, I was disappointed for sure... So I went to my dealer and he let me take one of his out. WOW... totally different experience
