  • The brand new 2022 INDIAN ROADMASTER really surprised me, and it does beat all of it's competitors if we only look at paper specs. But how does it ride??

    I proudly ride a 2016 Indian Roadmaster... am so glad I purchased an Indian rather than a Harley. I sometimes ride for 8-10 hours a day, with a few breaks here and there... and just want to ride some more. Moto Marvelous knows what he is talking about, you can bet on it!

    Thanks for the great review! I ride a 2015 Scout, as my second bike. I was on a benefit ride, prior to the pandemic, and we stoped at a dealership for a break and they had a Roadmaster there as a trade-in. I could not believe how comfortable this bike is! I only weigh 130 lbs (59 kilos) and had no problem standing this bike up. If I had the money at the time, I would have traded in my Scout for this in a heartbeat! I am, without a doubt, getting one of these. Every review I've watched has given a ton of thumbs up! Thanks again and ride safe! peace!

    I can put two 24 packs of cans of coke in truck and 3-4 bags of grocieres in each saddlebag on my 2020 Roadmaster.

    Another excellent video. I would love to see a video on the Indian Challenger. That looks like a fun bike!

      I did a test ride on it 2 weeks ago and I wasn't impressed , coming from the Roadmaster. I was expecting a lot more performance but it wasn't that big of a difference, also the fairing is far away from the rider , maybe I got used to the Roadmaster too much .

    Why r u comparing the Harley road glide ? U should be comparing the Harley ultra limited .I have been comparing the pursuit to the Harley the last few days. Im trying to decide which one I want next . But u need to compare apples to apples .

    I have one but it has fog lights in the front, curved bags and the classic front fender glad I got mine before these. I have the 21-inch extra tall windshield so being 6ft 5 the wind does not even touch my helmet. This is the millennial look I like mine more.

    As much as I love my Indian Roadmaster, there is no better, or smoother, two up, trailer hauling long distances touring motorcycle than the Honda Goldwing…

      Just watched a goldwing owner review on the Indian Pursuit....he loved the pursuit and is thinking of trading the goldwing in.

    • @Geriatric_Gaming
      @Geriatric_Gaming Před rokem

      As a two time Goldwing owner I agree that the Goldwing is smoother and more powerful and pulls trailers with ease. However I find my Indian Roadmaster is more comfortable in that I can adjust my feet much better on those huge floorboards, has a lower seat height making around town maneuverability much more enjoyable, has more character, and as much if not more creature comforts. It also has almost the same power and smoothness but without reverse. I find the Roadmaster to be much smoother than my old Street glide and certainly the suspension is much smoother. The Goldwing is no longer a strait touring motorcycle but has morphed into a Sport Tourer - one that is no longer comfortable for my tastes - while Harley suspension and ride is not near as comfortable or smooth. To me, the Indian Roadmaster is the perfect long distance cruiser and tourer. And yes, I still own a Harley and a Goldwing.

    Better engine performance than the Goldwing? Really? I absolutely love Indian motorcycles. As a matter of fact, I just traded in a 2018 Honda Goldwing for a 2022 Indian Pursuit Dark Horse yesterday. However, I do feel we need to be a little more balanced when reviewing these trusty steeds.

      Two completely different engines, however I do like the performance from the Roadmaster much more than from the Goldwing. Personal opinion.

    This guy is full of it better than a goldwind and I drive a HD . The heat that comes out of this bike is unbelievable . The paint and finnishing is not close to a ultra limited. And a few hp you won't even notice. Go Test all makes and models then decide what motorcycle is for you

    • @airtexaco
      @airtexaco Před rokem

      True. It is your money, get what you want. And i would get my third Indian. I know a lot of Harley guys talk about fit and finish-i don't share that opinion- but the bike is ready to go from the factory. You don't have to spend another $3-5,000 to "make it your own". And i started with HD..

    You can't cherry-pick a few characteristics where you claim one bike exceeds another, then claim one is 'better' than another. Bikes are evaluated as a whole, and how it works, or doesn't, as a complete package is the only credible approach. Where's the comparison tests with the competition? Where are the comparison specification tables? Can't ride comfortably above 120-kph? That's an instant fail when compared to many other bikes. More storage? I can store many times that in my VW, along with two more passengers. And it has better A/C, a heater, and a roof. Does that make it 'better'? Your reasoning why this bike is 'better' makes no sense.
    You can't pay me to buy such an over-weight poor-handling vehicle. I'd be totally miserable riding it and knowing my BMW can ride rings around it, and in more comfort and class...
