Girl, I don't even know where or how to begin thanking you for your patience in repetition on each row. I am around 60, am ADHD and am on a new migraine med that screws with my cognitive skills. So this is exactly what I need as I am fairly new to crochet. My late momma was a good crocheter. I've already forewarned her in heaven that I will be callin on her to help me, lol. But the way you teach is so amazing and unique. I watch a lot of tutorials to try and find the best ones that work for me. Out of all of them, there are three who are really good and all three of you are so top knotch. I've decided! lol that you are the angel of crochet. Thank you for all of your hard work. I was a typist all my life so carpal tunnel and arthritis are my bffs. I know that must play up for you as well so thank you for working so hard despite the pain.
My father's mother was named Annabelle. Sadly, she died in 1924 when he was a child of 11, so I never got to know her but always loved her name. When I saw this video I knew I would have to make it in her honor. Now I am looking for just the right yarn to do it justice.

This is another simple to crochet but very beautiful Shawl. It always amazes me how with just the basic crochet stitches and patients one can make a wonderful finished Shawl. The big part of that is how well you show each stitch and how many there should be at the end of a row. Another thing is with how calm and encouraging you are, even those that are nervous about trying a project like this. We are able to overcome that and go ahead and make it. Thank you for a great video.

The Stevie shawl is awesome, it got me here too. Thanks for putting here how big those “blocks “ are. I’m having jetleg issues at the moment so brain is not working on normal capacity 😅 and I can’t work that out for myself 😂.

I love this pattern! I'm working on this shawl with a slight variation. I did front post doubles on the third double crochet row and it creates a cute little texture! Such a fun and simple pattern, perfect for when I want to binge tv!

Beautiful shawl! And I love your choice of yarns; the colour pattern that emerged as you made the shawl was lovely. But I like that you used a different yarn in the tutorial: it demonstrates that different yarns can be used & the end product is still beautiful. I look forward to watching all your videos, Crystal. You're an excellent teacher & I really appreciate that you give the stitch count at the end of each row/round. I've discovered many errors when my stitch count is off that I wouldn't have discovered until much later in my project, if at all. Thank you, see you in the next video.

Great pattern! Works up quick. The variations in stitch pattern are easy and change just when you start getting bored. I used 2 skiens of Premier Sweet Roll DK in color Kaleidoscope. 64" wide by 35" top to bottom tip. 978 yards. Recommended 3.75 mm hook, I used 5mm hook (as Crystal recommended) and got a lovely drape. Only took me 5 days, a record for me. Thanks Crystal!

I just finished mine. I used a fingering weight and a 6mm hook. I misread the hook size on the hook but I like how it turned out. I would share a picture but I can't figure out how or if it's even possible lol! It was a very fun and easy project. Took me a week to complete.

I love that it's called Annabelle shawl!! My sweet little princess is gonna be 8 in March and she's been begging for a shawl of her own. She does not want it to be her size though haha. Her words were "I want one that is just mine but still your size so it can fit like yours do." Basically she wants a triangle blanket I guess! My first baby princess grew into a teenager that doesn't like anything so I'm happy that miss Annabelle still enjoys the girly stuff!
