I know this is an oldie, but it’s also a goodie. I am starting this tomorrow. I just watched the first 50 minutes, and I have 3 skeins of Premier Basix DK in Orchid and it’s close enough that I think it will look beautiful. I really wish I had the cream color and white like your original shawl, because that one is just stunningly beautiful!! Wish me luck. lol. I think I should be ok. Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials, Jennifer. They are priceless. 💜🧶🤟🏼

I truly love the changing of the stitches / pattern of this gorgeous shawl, as much as I love to crochet 🧶 anything it can get a little boring doing the same pattern over and over . This is perfect and I love 💕 the fact that we can make how ever many rows off of which ever stitch we want to make

This is the first big thing I've done in 40 years. That was just a big granny sq baby blanket for my son. It is so easy to follow your directions. I made this and the crop top for my sons girlfriend. She is thrilled beyond words. Me, im surprised that I could do something this beautiful. Thank you. BTW ive started my second shaw for a friend.

This was so much fun! I have never successfully made anything from a video tutorial before. You explain everything so beautifully. I don't have much yarn anymore because I had to sell most of it when hubby lost his job so I had to make it all black. Not my first choice but it's all I had. It is a beautiful pattern. This is the first wearable that I've made that I actually want to wear! I hope to make another one someday with a prettier color. Thank you so much for this tutorial 💗

I'm currently making several of these as gifts for Christmas. I absolutely love this shawl and thank you so much for your tutorial. It's really easy to follow and so far it's beautiful. I've made a shawl using a different pattern and I didn't like it as much as this one. I'm using Premiere Batik yarn, and it's working up nicely. The colorway is Water Lily. Once again thank you so much for your tutorial. ❤️

Thank you so much for the beautiful phoenix shawl tutorial, it was so easy to do , so easy to follow you, and especially loved your hints, on the “Mickey Mouse” stitch , every time I would get to that stitch, I would say Mickey Mouse, finally my little granddaughter came over to look and said Mommom show me mickey mouse. I feel like I know you , due to rewinding the video so many times. I am 74 years old & haven’t crocheted in a very long time, so thank you for making this so easy, can’t wait to start the next one…😊 Ani

Your shawl is beautiful Jennifer. I got some la Mia 100% cotton yarn from Hobium. It was nothing like I expected. Supposed to be a 3 weight but to me was hardly a 2. It's nice and soft so decided to put two colours together and wing it with an 8mm hook. I think it's going to be lovely with your pattern. Think it will make a cover up for my granddaughter's swim suit. It's pink white and lavender so guess I will need to buy the matching swimwear.😂. That's what Nans are for even when they are grown.
