My head cannon is that Gendry joined a pro-rowing team and is still at it right now. Maybe in season 7 he'll row his way into Danys fleet.
That would be interesting.
Dany: What are you doing?
Gendry: Rowing
clever
Gendry single handedly takes out Euron's fleet by rowing around the ships until they fall into a king's blood whirlpool and then Dany makes him a Kingsguard
+Tyrion Lannister why would Tyrion want to stab Gendry?
so... we will see him in rio olympics?
Can you imagine the gains from rowing this long
arms like popye
A wide back
......
To get the ho's in the sack
back, biceps and forearms if the gods
Tiny little twig legs though from sitting in that damn boat for so long.
He would miss leg day though
how about a spinoff series where gendry just rows for an hour for 10 episodes per season
then he finds the new world that is west of westoros and becomes Christopher Columbus of got
Coolguymateo101 Therecker sounds cool....you can be the show runner....just need a camera, gendry, a row boat, and the ocean.
+Coolguymateo101 Therecker Isn't Essos technically west of westeros?...
Lukas Cvancara westeros is based off of the europe....essos is like asia.....so what would be west of westeros? 'Merica! Fuck Yeah!
Lol Jon Snow sails to West of westeros is immediately shoot by rockets from like 5 helicopters playing darude sandstorm
My theory is wishful thinking more than anything else, but I hope that Gendry made it to Oldtown where he continued his smithing and, with a little guidance from Sam, learns how to recreate Valyrian steel. (Also, Ser Jorah shows up looking for a cure, again finds it thanks to Sam introducing him to the Maester who cured Princess Shireen and Jorah shows his gratitude by teaching both Gendry and Sam how to fight properly).
gendry must be strong enough to chuck the red keep all the way to the dothraki sea he's been rowing so long. He doesn't need to know how to fight properly
I like this idea. He could have some importance to the show, and the show would be able to only touch on him briefly and get back to the more important plot points quickly
exactly what i think
Excellent theory. I have never thought about it, but it makes a lot of sense. It would connect all this characters with a common plot.
Thumbs down for improper use of parentheses.
Brienne and Pod were last seeing rowing a boat too.
lots of rowing... seems some of them never heard of sails.
+BarbikaPahor Gendry had never been in a boat or even swam before. Believe me, it's a lot easier to tow a boat than sail one. Constant sail adjustments, the wind just deciding to not blow air for a week... Not worth it.
He is the last Baratheon. I do hope that he is still alive.
for him to try to fight against daenarys's / jon's claim to the iron throne? to try to be an even worse ruler than either of them?
+fwoqma what makes you think he'd even want to rule?
+fwoqma and Daenerys alreads proved she is an incapable tyrant,Jon howewher is a born leader but he doesnt know it yet
D + J = invincibility.
Robert still has that daughter in the Veil... something Stone... The one who helped Catlyn to get to her sister back when Tyrion was her prisoner. This was in book one. Pity there isn't anybody to legitimise her...Unless Stanis is still alive...
Now that all three Baratheon brothers are dead, perhaps Gendry can be legitimized and become the new house lord?
I don't think he has to be legitimized if he has the strongest claim. Just flip the colors on the banner.

A golden stag (without the crown) on a black background? Fancy! :D
Gendry is a master smith now in Oldtown. Once Sam Tarley discovers a huge cache of Valyrian Steel in the Citadel (that the maesters use to make their chains with) he sets out to have them melted down and made into weapons for Jon's army. (this is my explanation anyway) Oh and Gendry also makes Jon a cool looking Wolf Helmet. Much like the Bull helm Gendry used to wear.
Sam has to discover some way in Old Town on how to defeat the White Walkers on a larger scale. So yeah this theory seems very plausible.
Hory shet! That makes sense. It's simple, it's good, and it suits to the show's plot so far. I hope you're right, that would make a cool surprise. That would also explain why they cared to show us so much about Sam and Oldtown, because it may be even more important than we thought.
Great theory!! 👍🏻
The maesters chain aren't Valyrian Steel. Only one piece is Valyrian if they attempted spell craft.
Season 1 Maester Luwin talks to Bran about his chain..
My thought as well. He will meet Sam and be able to forge the blades.
I think he will show up,as people will need someone to smith some valyrian steel, and Sam might find out how to make them, since it's lost, but citadel might have something little about how to make it.
That would be cool!!
no no, definitely not in bravos
I think she might marry Dany.
Gendry is the heir to Storms End.
...which is abandoned like an old Blockbuster right now.
isn't he the last of the baratheon line? i can't imagine that the show won't address him in some way.
Yep, that and the whole relationship with Arya doesn't seem to be quite over. Arya states she wants to kill Melisandre and she seemed to really care about Gendry. Just saying, when Game of Thrones does something like this, it's probably because they're trying to foreshadow something.
ricoco7891 yeah, for all GOT's shortcomings, they seem to do a pretty good job of wrapping storylines/arcs up (sooner or later). that's why i can't imagine they wouldn't bring him back. he was well liked by viewers, and important to arya.
Um, two names come to mind that prove that bastards do, in fact, count, Jon Snow, Ramsay Bolton. Both rose in the battle of the bastards and had armies fighting at their command. In GOT, being a bastard is not as without honor as one might think, and being the last of a line, puts him on the throne before many. Just saying.
Good points. Additionally, those that win the battles/wars get to decide "what counts." Same as in the real world.
In the show, Ramsay was legitimized after the Red Wedding.
Martin said Arya and Gendry meet up again
case closed
In the books, not the series
The red woman on the show tells Arya that she will see him again. if it happens or not who knows.
Which means, in the books, Arya will run into Lady Stoneheart, since he should still be with the Brotherhood without Banners
Trying to think like a writer. Gendry is needed to bring Arya back to the light. I think they could meet up in kings landing if Arya goes after Cersi. Or maybe the brotherhood takes the twins after the Frays fall apart.
Robert Baratheon and Lyanna Stark were suppose to marry and didn't. Could we see Arya and Gendry (family members) take there places in history? It would unite the North and South which was the intent in the first place. Arya does have feelings for him. Who knows.
Gendry sailed out of the story
George RR Martin confirmed that book Arya will meet up with Gendry
when?
A week Sunday.
Yesterday.
When winter came.
Ours Iceberg Fury is Coming!
Season 7 opens up with Daenerys on her ships getting news of something she needs to see. She gets on the deck and sees a small, tiny empty row boat from a distance. Once the row boat is next to the ship, she spots a facing down body that's not moving. She orders her men to pull the body up onto the ship. They drop the body on the deck and turn him over. It's Gendry. Role opening credits.
:O
fuck ya
then he wakes and grabs her with his powerful 4 seasons of rowing arms and they make passionate love
And King Robert rolls over in his grave.
Loften Henderson 😂😂
Arya and gendry will take the iron throne ^^.
i hope
Would either even want it? I can see them retiring to Bear Island and leaving it all behind.
Sorry, but if any more Starks are going to perish, it will be Arya. She would likely be the one to warg into Nymeria, finally reuniting with her Direwolf and putting the great hole in her soul to rest
KPSacto honestly more than likely the iron throne will be abandoned completely by the end... as far as why i suggested arya because shes the least likely to want it. Thats why haha.
Gendry is coming back next season , 99% sure of it. His story is strongly linked to Arya , and with her being back in Westeros, it makes sense for them to be reunited. Also, him being a blacksmith that can work Valyrian Steel will probably be of an importance, he'll help making swords during the War against the White Walkers. In the books, Gendry is the one who has feelings for Arya, while she cares a lot about him too, not truly realising what's it all about for real. In the show, they did it a little bit different, when it was Arya who seemed to be having some feelings for Genry, if it wasn't slightly important, they would have just scratched it off. They would have been just friends, with no hints of anything being possible developped lately. Anyway, they WILL MEET AGAIN !!!
I'm convinced Jon and Davos will run into him next season, some people think he's really not important to the story but I think otherwise, Davos knows he has Baratheon blood and he can be used to create an alliance between the North and the Stormlands. It would also be cool to see Robert and Rhaegar's sons become friends, it would kind of be like Daenerys and Tyrion, they'd be redeeming the once friendship of Aerys, Tywin, and Steffon Baratheon.
actually think Hendry will def comeback. It seems as if the show loves making characters disappear then BAM, they're back again. What I would love to see him and Arya meet back up and start an illicit affair... which would include them banging on the pile of dead bodies from her list... I'm a bit of a romantic
*Gendry
Arya has Jaqen for romance.
+TheyCallMeZ-I-C-O
no way! Jaqen is Syrio (sp), doubt she'd end up banging him
Jax Val You kidding me? They're totally gooey eyes for each other.
She's more for legal as far as acting for that sort of thing.
David Lopez Based on?
Plus the actress is 19 or like 21, so she's legal, not to mention tthat's simply a different time period in a fictional world, she could get raped next episode (though that'd have to be godly badass who could even not get outright killed by her when they close in within 10 feet)
He was killed by the bell when the sept blew.
Hey Harp, your almost too a well deserved 100k subscribers. Thank you for another amazing video bro, god bless you and yours
Really liking this channel! Please keep 'em coming! :)
I'd like to see him again in Arya's story arc, that would a waste if we never see him again imo
They see me rowing they waitin'
Upon a full Series binge rewatch this month I also noticed that red priest without seeing gendry, arya and pot pie hiding behind the tree after they escape Harrenhal and meet up with the brotherhood without banners he correctly identifies them by what they are, I'm calling it all but show confirmed.
He said "what's hiding behind that tree? A lion, a wolf and some pantry pot thing" (the exact wording on what he called pot pie besides the word pantry and thing lol I couldn't make out). BUT paired with the Cersai being Gendry's mother (with Robert their first child who died and she never visited the tomb and all that). He would be the Lion. Arya is the Wolf. And PotPie is the pantry thing.
The whole Davos-Melisandre storyline did happen in the books but with a different character, Edric Storm, also Robert Baratheon's bastard. They combined Gendry's story and his story. I can see them incorporating Gendry in two ways in the show: 1.) Have him join the Brotherhood Without Banners and reunite with Arya, etc. or 2.) They could introduce him back as a form of the dropped Sir Jon Connington-Young Griff storyline where a group of people will rebel against Cersei, championing him for the Iron Throne.
To increase subbies make vids about 15min. GOT is too complex for 3 min of time. luv the voiceover w/the new mic
And how exactly would he go about making a 15 minute video for an ancillary character that received about that much screen time? Yes, I know that Gendry go more than 15 minutes, but is more than 3 minutes really necessary for him? I suppose if he played some pivotal role in determining who ultimately sits on the Iron Throne a more detailed video might be in order, but I think Gendry has served his purpose. Through their interactions with Gendry, the showrunners were able to build the characters of Stannis Baratheon, Ser Davos Seaworth, and Melissandre. He was important enough to the story due to being Robert's bastard, but ultimately he was disposable once he served his narrative purpose.
Truth be told, I've spent more time writing this response than I have ever bothered with worrying about what happened to Gendry. If the character comes back in later, it would come as no surprise. If he is literally on a slow boat to China never to be heard from again, I'd be good with that too.
Sorry I'm just a big fan of the character & actor I am sure he is truly a key character if he is a bastard of a King. Bye now😉
I feel, if the show will bring him back, he will die that very episode.. much like Rickon, or, say, the Blackfish and the guy played by Ian McShane
I disagree. Usually I see a video longer than 8 minutes and I usually add to watch later because it seems to long out of my time to invest at the time. Then I forget about it till I check the list. I much prefer 5 min videos, in parts if goes longer. This guys videos are great its on point without the "fluff"
+Marie OfAus But it's Game of THRONES people 4 min vids is not enough 💞💞
nice intro and vid keep up !!!! 11k subs in a month wtffff nice job bro
When Lyanna Mormont is crowned Queen of Westeros she will take Gendry "Durrandon" as her King, and finally the people can rest easy.
I have a $30 bet on Gendry being in season 7, he is the last remaining Baratheon, one of the 4 major houses in GoT, they wouldn't just go into the final 2 seasons missing 1 of the big 4 houses. Also they'd have to change the intro because there'd be no remaining Baratheon in the show
Lol High Roller
Hes not a Baratheon just because hes Robert`s son, just like Jon isnt a Stark.
abdull abdullahi he's the only one alive with the blood of a Baratheon. if he is ever legitimized then boom, he's a full Baratheon.
yep, there's evidence in the books that show if a bastard ends up being the last remaining heir they should be legitimised by the crown and allowed to carry on that line. Unlikely Cersei will do that, but when she dies and if there's time, it's quite possible the new monarch will
With Stannis and Renly dead, I think Gendry has the strongest claim to Storm's End.
He is with Lady Stoneheart!!!! XD OMG Perfect twist for a season 7 premiere
Davos told him not to go to King's Landing. Dragon Stone is North of there and so he went towards the Vale.
Actually, in one of the last chapter of ADWD, Martin briefly introduces a character without giving his name. He is a smith in one of the sellswords company which camp outside of Meeren. I have a feeling that he will be revealed as Gendry in the next book.
I read that he is one of last blacksmiths known to 've capable of replicating valyrian steel. which would be super useful to Jon against walkers if say, he crossed paths with varys or if he finds Sam who has a valyrian steel sword and (I think) some Dragon glass which would be all Gendry would need to make some swords to add to Jon's elite. or maybe he got ran over by uncle greyjoys boats....idk...
Imagine Dany's fleet... and Gendry's little rowboat beside them. :)
Jon Arryn was not killed "for knowing to much" that is what we initally thought. He was killed on orders of Baelish for no other reason than killing Arryn being part of his bigger plan.
Baelish persuaded Lysa to kill Jon Arryn, so that she would inherit his wealth, and marry Baelish. He always has his eye on the main chance. Lysa had loved him since she was a girl, so it was easy for him to persuade her to kill her husband, so that they could be together "forever". Of course, when she tried to throw Sansa out the Moon Door, all bets were off, and Baelish pushed her out to fall to the mountains below.
Man I love that intro so much
Arya is back in Westeros, so I believe Gendry will be back. I think it would be really cool if we find out that he made it back to King's Landing and during Daenarys' sack of King's Landing, he and Arya run into each other when she's on her way to assassinate Cersei. During all the chaos, the two of them go on this really badass revenge mission for both of their houses, and just like during Robert's Rebellion, just as Arya is about to kill the "Mad Queen", the prophecy is fulfilled and she walks in on Jaime killing his sister instead. And once the deed is done, Jaime admits to pushing Bran out of the window and also his promise to Catelyn to find her and due to his loss of the will to live, lets Arya exact her revenge on him as recompense.
Gendry's gonna run into Brienne and Podrick who's also still rowin'
I have no idea where Gendry can be located, but I have a little theory about his possible futur role in the story, pretending that Samwell Tarly will somehow find how to produce valyrian steel I can assume he will need a good smith to make swords ... here comes Gendry !
Hey Harpy Congratulations 1,000 Subscribe Good Luck On 100k My Question Is What Your Thoughts On Game Of Thrones Spin-Off TV Series ?
A sharknado crossed Gendry's path. The spin-off is in the planning stage.
I believe he can actually show up leading the Stormlands troops. He kind of is the last remaining Baratheon on the show (and even though a bastard - has some claim). At least he know's he's a Robert's bastard.
Don't forget that they've actually merged Gendry's storyline with that of Edric Storm. And Robert did acknowledge Edric officially...
I don't know if what I am adding has been brought up before or not. (I didn't read through all the other replies)
In the second episode of season one (i think) there is a scene where Cersei visits Kat watching over Bran's recently comatose body. She begins to tell a story about her first child that she "lost". She never actually saw him die, because he was literally taken away and was supposed to be killed. I think this could be Gendry, and obviously was never killed. I don't know how it plays into the rest of the story, but if you think about King Robert whoring in the brothels, and Cersei occasionally visiting them dressed as a tavern wench, then something certainly could have happened. He could end up making the valerian steel weapons that help turn the tide, and possibly ends up as the rightful king that he should be anyways. Why not throw in Arya as his "lady".
he is the guy that got hit by the bell when the wildfire goes boom
Maybe Gendry will reappear and help to make valerian steel swords, since he is a blacksmith. And Sam will find the instructions for making them at Old Town.
He's riding ghost around the countryside looking for luv in all the wrong places
Lady stone heart is Caitlin Stark in the books because it describes her being found 1st by a pack of wolves in which it gave thought to the readers that Arya's dire wolf was the leader, and then somehow Caitlin stumbled into the brotherhood's camp. That's when they recognized her even though she could speak due to the Frey's slitting her throat at the red wedding. The books also talk about how she had a personal vendetta against all Frey's her and the brotherhood encounter.
nice I've been asking this question for a while now
where ever he is he must have huge pectoral and back muscles; for all the rowing. Will be cool however, he is at the citadel working as a blacksmith and eventually help Sam find the formula for vayrian steel and dragon glass.
He probably made his way back to the Inn at the Crossroads; Hot Pie being the last mate whose whereabouts he knows for sure. Maybe Arya will bump into them there next season and they'll all travel north.
Or he might have fulfilled his original ambition and headed to the Wall. What a mindfuck would it be if he had arrived, joined up and died at the Battle of Castle Black all off-screen but still canon?
He will be the only one able to create valyrian steel armor and swords to defeat the white walkers. As he is impressively gifted forger. He will definitely come back and play a major character at jahaerys targaryan's side with ser davos ;)
Further speculation could be worth the gander in regards to Malsandra. Her (book/show) plot holes are being recovered and if she doesn't go all crazy witch eventually, then it would be a waste of screen time for her to have revealed her natural state (therefore likely to not be as the writers are careful to utilize their show space).
just subscribed.
im here for more game of thrones and twd videos!
what do you think will happen to arya?
do you support jons decsion to banish melisandre? I woulda pradoned her. she can bring him back to live obviously.
also berric, thoros, and mellisandre are on arya's hit list and so far she has been succesful. thoughts?
im hoping arya goes to winterfell and jon and sansa tell her to chillllll
In the books, Robert Batheron's mother is a Tageryon, making Gendry a product of two royal families.
If the dragons have to be ridden by a Tageryon we have three. Dany, Jon Snow and Gendry.
I think if he does reappear, it would be cool if he was at Storm's End. There he could rebuild House Baratheon and help Jon or Dany
Nice video !
What did I actually learn from this video? Include more theories.
Gendry will return in a flashback when a young Robert Baratheon (played by Joe Dempsie) fights and kills Rhaegar
But it would be better he comes back not only in flashbacks as young Robert but also to reclame the Stormlands
and the actor for young robert baratheon has already been casted (it's not joe dempsie)
Great video - I love your videos- they are full of information without all of the BS that a lot of the others have. I have wondered about Gendry and I have also thought about if he would have a role in the lightbringer sword part of the story. I could almost see Jon giving Longclaw back to the Moremont family since it was their family sword after what Lyanna Moremont has done for him, that would open up a need for a new sword for him. It would be a cool part in the story if the 2 swords that were made from Ned's sword Ice by the Lannisters could be forged back together and become lightbringer. We know Gendry is a very good blacksmith from when Ned went to find him and talked about how wonderful his work was. I know it is far fetched but it does make you wonder why he has just disappeared from the story but is not dead (as far as we know, it makes you think he is still needed in some way). I would like to know what you think about that? Thanks again for your videos, you are my new favorite.
That would mean taking the sword back from Jaime, as he and Joffrey each got a sword made from the original Ice owned by Ned Stark. I can't see that happen.
Though I can't forsee when or where Gendry might appear, I think he's a little too valuable as a random plot device of power and potential to be discarded entirely.
* He could potentially become a warrior - his father's genes means he has great strength, and his work develops and enhances that. A potential fate is for him to be picked up by a ship and eventually sold as a fighting slave, or else picked up by pirates and he chooses to join the crew over being cast overboard.
* It's also possible for him to become an artisan - he already is a skilled smith.
*Adventures following one of these fates could cause him to return and rejoin the story at some point. You're right that the show is coming to the end soon, and there's a lot of loose ends to tie up. But, there also is potential for filler storylines, and Gendry is recognizable and popular.
he's back in the stormlands to rise the house baratheon
he's smithing at the citadel, where he meets Sam and together rediscover how to forge valerian steel.
Simples.
quite possible that he will end up , back with the BWOB, and Arya may be going there too. she may not be the leader but I think much of her story arc will include some "Stoneheart" revenge. I would also love to see Nymeria again.
he joined the dragonboat team and now has really big, muscly arms from rowing and is now competing with other countries lol
another amazing vid
Gendry has been pick out of the ocean by pirates and is now in pirates cover smith somewhere.
Gendry is the rightful lord of Storm's end, as he is likely the last surviving Baratheon... I suspect he will end up there.
I read somewhere he is one of the few people in the world who knows how to re-forge Valyrian steel. Thus, he is obviously going to be an important part in either helping Sam in reforging weapons or perhaps he will learn how to create Valyrian steel from nothing (which no one has done since the Valyrian cataclysm that destroyed the society).
Gendry is the last living member of House Baratheon, I think he'll be back.
Once Arya finishes the list, she and Gendry marry and raise smithing assassins.
I love your channel.
love the new music
I think danys gonna find him and almost sail over him in his tiny boat
I like the video you should have made it longer ... so much more can be put into his storyline
I think it would be a real shame if Gendry done for good. He is a very important character in Arya's storyline. They seemed to have a very emotional bond(at least on the show, don't know how books handle this). I hope Arya and Gendry cross their paths again in season 7.
Gendry is the unfortunate fella who got crushed under that bell.
he is probably hanging out in Nottingham, as that is where I met him ;)
isn't season 7 going to be the end of GOT? or is there still 2 more seasons with 13 episodes?
He'll come back in time for the biggest battle. Gendry is Azor Ahai!! His great grandmother was a Targaryen, he's technically a prince, he's a blacksmith like Azor Ahai, he may be one of the last people capable of forging or reforging Valyrian steel, the prophecy says that Azor Ahai will be reborn amidst smoke and salt and wielding the flaming sword Lightbringer! Either he finds it on his travels and awakens it when he goes to reforge the blade, or he forges a new one entirely. And being a blacksmith he works around smoke and salt!!!
I'm hoping he comes back with armour that resembles Roberts one from the books and saves arya from a threat
Row Row Row Ya Boat is Gendry's favourite nursery rhyme so he made it part of his everyday life :D
In the show Gendry's storyline has been combined with Edric Storm, who was another Robert Bastard but of royal blood on both sides. I suspect he will turn up in the show just in time to help forge Valyrian steel swords.
Gendry is a blacksmith - he will probably have something to do with forging Valyrian steel; an art which is long forgotten
Gendrys like.. IM ON A BOAT
jon arynn was killed by his wife and little finger so they could be together and little finger could take over the vale
Could he the one that told Tommen "I'm sorry your grace." Before he jumps off... (kind of looks like him)
I'd like to see your videos longer . . .
If some folks want short ones, maybe a longer one sometimes. Or longer ones with shorter summerized versions . . .
he is back
I'd love your take on the theory stating that Varys is a mermaid. Side note, lovely content as always; great information, that's quick to the point.
I think we need to remember, when Gendry left in the row boat, he told Davos he had never rowed a boat before. How is he supposed to navigate his way from Dragon Stone to King's Landing in a row boat if he has never done it before? What if he ends going the wrong way and finds himself in The North and running into other Starks there? What if his little row boat intersects Dany's fleet as she is headed to King's Landing? Or What if he misses King's Landing and ends up in Dorne? So much OOPS can happen when you put a guy in a boat and tell him to go somewhere and he's never been in a boat before.
My guess is that he is alive and will end up marrying Arya so that House Stark and House Baratheon would unite.
he's meeting up with Sam Tarley to produce Valerian steel. Know any other blacksmiths?
Yeah, I think that was GRRM's plan for Gendry in the books. Or at the very least Gendry salvages the Valyrian Steel from the iron throne so it can be used to fight the White Walkers.
what if gendry is the smith sam has to seek out to forge the valyrian steel swords since he knows where a stash of dragon glass is if john comes back with with a dragon and they all end up at Dragonstone
No more Rowing
actually in the book, Podrick and Brienne meet him. He is still a blacksmith and helps a bunch of orphans
what if like little finger came with knights of the Vale to save Jon Gendry does a similar thing.. leading an army dunno who to save or against who (just throwing it out there)
I like to think Gendry will reappear and a more intimate relationship between him and Arya will blossom, then eventually they will get married. Thus, finally giving what Robert and Ned wanted, which is joining the houses of Baratheon and Stark. I don't think Gendry would be too interested in making a claim for the throne anyways and would settle for just becoming the Lord of Storm's End or Lord Paramount of the Stormlands. After all he deserves it, and isn't he the last surviving Baratheon to continue the family line?
Well, when we see Gendry last, he is a teen, since then many years have passed and most likely, he has grown up and become a man. How this can take several directions, he could have continued being a blacksmith and trained with his swords (like William Turner in Pirates of the Carribean) and become useful later on in the story or he could just be living in solitary in the woods and the show brings him back just to kill him (just like Rickon). Alternatively, Vary's may have found him and is planning/training him to make a power play
