Mine just arrived and the print quality is awesome. I wish I knew how to get my 3D printed supports to be as easily removeable. Upon assembly, I had a heck of a time getting the 3D printed washer onto the peg for the 1/2" bushing but then realized the flush bearing's bushing could be used to apply even pressure all around it and it pushed easily at that point.

You think through everything like such an engineer. Love it.

Sweet! Thats a cute package to store small parts better than a box could.

I JUST GOT MY KIT! It's great!!! The scaffolding came apart nicely, and the prints are clean.
The smallest disc for the 1/2" bearing cracked because it was so tight, but I tried sliding it on with no glue... maybe the glue would have provided some lubrication before it set up? But it's still on there tight... looks like a small split washer.
Removing the film does make the wood look better, but if not for the video, i don't know that I'd notice the film on there at all(nor would I have cared!) Removing it does make it look REAL sharp.
I do want to note a bit of confusion on my part. I already owned this router bit set for a few years, so I didn't purchase the router bit set with this... only the mounting kit. In the video, at the 1:35 mark I thought I was missing the "rod thing that the bearings are on in the original package" that Andrew mentions. But I failed to realize, he was referring to the original WhiteSide Router Bit set package... not HIS kit. Because I didn't have the actual router bit set in front of me at the time (I was in my kitchen) I was looking all over my table for this missing rod. I watched the video 3 times before realizing 'original package' truly meant 'original Whiteside Router packaging'. It's actually pretty genius to repurpose it for that!
Anyway... after that small snafu, it's all together and I couldn't be happier. I think I'm going to mount it to a small piece of wood, then mount that piece of wood to the wall, rather than using the mounting template straight to the wall. I'm sure i'll lose that mounting template before I want to move this to a different part of my shop. Mounting on a separate piece of wood will make it easier to move around as needed.
    Thanks so much, Andrew!!!!

I'm glad you like it and that you figured out the rod to mount the trays. And good call on the secondary piece of wood, although I'd send you another template if you lost yours and needed to move it later.

Man this would be an awesome collaboration with woodpeckers to mill this setup out of aluminum. Fantastic design that solves a very unique problem. Well done 🍻

oddly enough, my favorite part is the 3 cleat - french cleat mounting system bracket jig thing.. (I'm a simple man)

Great work! I love 3D printing for perfect tool storage like this. Based on the print orientation you are doing for the main body part it looks like you could tweak the design of your holes to get rid of some support material to save you print time and material. Here is a great video by Maker's Muse that shows a few different techniques. czcams.com/video/j6508J94VsA/video.html
The "teardrop" hole shape could save you some support material and adding a slot could make the insertion of that shaft a more pleasant experience for your customers.
