I'm fascinated by how 3D printing is pushing the boundaries across industries. From architecture to medicine, it's revolutionizing the way we approach design and manufacturing. The level of precision achieved here opens doors to innovations we could only dream of a few years ago.
Anker's 3D printer on sale during Prime Day? Count me in! This is the perfect opportunity for a guy like me to unleash his creative genius and bring imagination to life. Let the printing spree begin!
they also have their filament on sale to, and just introduced a few new colors!
We hope to be part of your 3D printing journey and welcome you to our community. - Kiki Chen from the AnkerMake Team
Just finished printing my pieces! I'm glad you sell the plans on your site. Excited to get this put together and play around
Are we not gonna talk about the oatmeal you used to glue that butterfly in place!? What was that?? ;)
Very cool! Nicely done!
Beautiful work, Andrew! It turned out amazing! 😃
Brilliant idea for a 3d printer!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
This is a really great idea. 3D printing is a great way to prototype something like this. It will be interesting to see how this holds up over time--though, of course, the advantage of printing it is that you can just print individual replacement parts if/as needed.
4:48 Are the patterns you're following with the pantograph also 3D printed? Perhaps instead of staying inside while constantly pushing out, or staying outside while constantly pushing in, the pattern shape could have a track path? A slot to follow?
So dope, mang!
I love the idea of using one machine to create another
This is very cool. Do you offer the stl to make one? TBH i use a CNC anymore but it would be nice to bring out my one of my printers and make one. I love the idea of this thing. This is as good as the CNC setup to work like a Etch A Sketch.
Thank you for your eye for fine detail. To cut to the chase.. I am looking to do a one off piece of inlay and am interested to know if you have marketed your Pantograph tool. I live here in Canada if that makes any difference. Thank you Norman
Please refine and make plans for that Pantograp design. This is a wonderful idea and I'd love to see people being able to replicate it. Granted I have personal hobby CNC that can do this, but it's still really cool.
Awesome invention and want to build one, but one question...how do you store this away?
Very nice. I've just picked one up myself and can't wait to put my ideas to test. Hope you release the STL files at some point. I'd like to give it a try.
Welcome to our AnkerMake M5 family! - Kiki Chen from the AnkerMake Team
What does this printer do that allowed you to make this project where you couldnt do it on your other 3d printers?
Nice work I’d buy one if you went into production on it
Curious? Which CAD program do you use for creating you print stl files?
Didn't even know this is part of the prime day sale! When does the sale end? If i purchase now, does the sale apply automatically? Thank you for the good review Andrew!🥰
I think today (july 12th) is the last day of the sale, if you click the amazon link in the description you should see the discounted price
Do you have the stl available for this? I have the AnkerMake M5 already and would love to print one of these.
Yes I do: www.in-kleind.com/store/3D-Print-Files-and-Model-for-Router-Pantograph-p568665002
Check out a Bambulab X1C printers, they blow all the others away. I swapped out all my prusa mk3's for all Bambulab X1C's.
Will you share the STLs you used?
This is an awesome video!
uploading your "design" (even if just STL's is a great way to support the whole "open source" concepts of hobby level 3d printing.
@@clonecone Ahh thanks! I should have checked
Didn't see a link so I assumed not
Love to see you create new things, even if they don't work out as planned on the initial pass. I found this maker to have a similar mentality when it comes to 3d design and iterating; Perhaps you could find some use in his process. Thanks!

But the model and plans are nowhere i would expect
It's made by the same company that makes phone chargers and cables, which is actually a trusted brand. Their branding and trademarking, however, is awful. The brand and product name should be separate not compounded.
I actually also got my really awesome job doing product design for an education company because I bought a 3D printer about 6 months before I applied! It let me work on designs that I had envisioned as teaching tools for my math students, which was helpful in its own right. But then I got to put those on the portfolio and got hired to this excellent new job! It's the single best purchase I've ever made. I really wouldn't have this job if i hadn't gotten my Prusa.
