Goodbye Valentino Rossi VR46, you will remain a legend for Motogp. ❤ Thanks for everything you demonstrated on the circuit. ❤ Thanks to Valentino, I chose the motorcycle ❤

RIP Marco Simoncelli
My yoinger brother Simon have name after Simoncelli
@@pinkpanther8932 Are you fucking kidding me? He went wide charging for a pass he couldn't make, started to low side, his tires got grip and he rode directly into Edwards and Rossi's path. There was no where for them to go. I was and still am greatly saddened by Marco's tragic death, but Rossi, his friend who escorted his body back home to Italy, was not at fault in any way. Lets also not forget that even though Marco was exciting to watch he had been warned all throughout the season by Dorna about his recklessness. Rossi even spoke to him personally about it. He had taken out several riders in the earlier races that year. Simoncelli even admitted he needed to chill his riding style.
Scott Lindauer One thing I observed when it happened was that his helmet came off. I think it was because it didn’t fit properly because of his big thick hair. I believe he would have survived if the helmet had stayed on. RIP
@@andyblack5687 that's very possible, sad day for moto gp. Even though he was riding a bit recklessly he was awesome to watch and would have made the competition that much more exciting for years to come. Sad he never got the chance to mature into the rider he could have been. That comment just really aggravated me. Imagine how rossi and Edwards feel to this day. There was nothing they could do to avoid hitting their friend ultimately killing him.
Scott Lindauer Right. He went down right in front of them. They had no chance to even try to dodge him. I’m sure they’ve struggled with that and continue to. I thought maybe Simoncelli would one day be a Moto GP champion. I believe he left behind one or two children as well.
I will never forget in Brno 2001. I was there with my family dad, aunt and my cousin. They all were fans of Biaggi cause daddy bought a red Yamaha bike 2 weeks before. And my idol was The Doctor.
Everyone of my family was happy... except me. I just told them after 20 minutes of listening how good biker Biaggi is: "Dont be happy too long. In 2 laps he will crash." And he did in front of us. Half of family was not speaking with me for half year. :) I will never forget that.
was this where he slipped away in the omega or was this 2003? i was there when he slipped away in the omega, the doctor right behind him. but dont know whether this was 2001 or 2003.
🇮🇹 Joy of life, guaranteed fun, victory of sport, good life Mr. Rossi and thanks for all the emotions you have given us 🇮🇹
Long live the king 🤴🙏🏽💙
So amazing to see Giacomo Agostini's total dominance, it's impressive. Makes you wonder how many victories he would have if championships had 18-20 races like today. He probably would have over 100 victories in the 500 class.
In the ‘60 and ‘70 a biker could race in different categories at the same time,I’m sure thet he could had more victories in the master class but he could have less titles, sorry for my bad English
si sin dudas .

1. Giacomo Agostoni: 122 wins
2. Valentino Rossi: 115 wins
3. Ángel Nieto: 90 wins

John Surtees, maybe the most complete driver of all times, Won both MotoGp and F1 championships
had the best machine in both though
@@nixxxon18 still the only one who won both titles. That shows how difficult it is.
@@MoniFps Nobody has really tried that since I've been alive at least from 83 till now lol. There aren't any racers doing Moto GP and F1 and Moto GP and F1 are so saturated with talent now compared to the old days. There are thousands and thousands of guys who are trying to get into both sports so it's way, way harder now borderline impossible especially with sponsor's and them not wanting their driver/rider doing another type of racing risking their current career. A sponsor paying you 20mil a or whatever will not let you go risk injury doing other stuff they will just drop you as a rider, that's why you've never seen any Moto GP guys try the TT it's not because they are scared lol.
@@stpbasss3773 Nowadays no one will ever be able to do that. But just for the fact that John was able to do this in an era where these kind of sports were so dangerous and he still won titles and survived... It's impossible not to recognize such a talent.
@@MoniFps I agree I wasn't trying to downplay his achievement it's freaking amazing.
For those confused: This chart is showing victories in the Premier class only. So that would be the 500cc and later, the MotoGP class. Agostini raced when riders were allowed to compete in both the 500cc class as well as the 350cc during the same championship year. So if you add in all class victories, Giacomo Agostini will be on the top. But for the Premier class-only, Valentino Rossi is the undisputed king in terms of race wins. I have a feeling that if Rossi were allowed to compete in both MotoGP and something to the effect of a Moto2.5(modern equivalent to 350cc class), he'd probably be the all-time race winner. But we'll never know. Now, if Marc Marquez can survive without serious injury over the next 3-5 years, that is very likely to change.
stoner really in 500cc 2001 ?

Nobody mentioning Casey Stoner when imo he was the fastest of the lot in his prime which unfortunately he didn't wish to extend, may not be the most aggressive but the fastest no doubt and with a revolutionary racing style.
Casey Stoner was pretty much a super human by mastering the Ducati and somehow becoming MotoGP world champion on a Ducati

Great video, but it would be great to have a percentage of races entered compared to races won to give a better picture, because some guys will have won 12 races out of a career of 50, and some will have 30 wins from 150 races.
Yep, I agree. I think they run a lot more races in a calendar year now, than they did in previous decades. A percentage graph would help level the field for the older racers who had far fewer races in a year... I think :)
Freddie Spencer, two-stroke, 500 and 250 championship the same year. Perfected the style of riding everyone does today including Rossi. Best rider in the golden era of racing. Fast Freddie is the greatest in my opinion.
Don't forget Kenny
Very, very good! Congratulations!
R.I.P. Jarno Saarinen 1973 Monza. On his way to becoming double-world champion in the same season in 250cc+500cc and then gets killed in Monza. He was the dominant force, I even dare to say he would've surpassed Agostini's records with ease.
Just thinking about the level of effort you have put in 👏🏻
Agostini has driven for 13 years and he won 15 seasons. Amazing.
from 26 season, 2 season in a year

Hey, he dominated in a weak era... pedrosa, Lorenzo and stoner more talented riders! Michael Schumacher of moto gp!
@@petecotter6790
What an incredibly stupid thing to say. Riders like Biaggi and Gibernau were anything but slow. Not just that, but he was typically very competitive against the likes of Stoner, Pedrosa and Lorenzo. Based on your logic, Marquez has had even weaker competition.
Schumacher was much the same as Rossi, having had to deal with the likes of Hakkinen, Raikkonen, Montoya, Coulthard and the sort. They weren't exactly pushovers either.
You don't win that many races because the competition is weak every time. You win that many times because you're consistently bloody good at what you do.

With one minor mistake (ups). I don't care about it myself, but it is a major thing that the flag beside Yugoslavia is actually the Serbian flag. All of the races were on the Preluk circuit or on the Grobnik circuit. Both internationally known by the name of the nearest city. = circuit of Rijeka. Yes, back then it was Yugoslavia. It is not anymore. But it is not Serbia eighter.

Some riders' profiles are missinformed. For example, Valentino should be starting from 2000 instead of 2002, and Casey should be starting from 2006 instead of 2001.
Edit: however, thankyou for this impressive video!
Gracias por decirme mucho😀
Have to point out both Walter Zeller and Bob Brown are not Grand Prix winners. Neither of the races they won were counted towards the World Championship.
Different teams, different bike. Honda didn't always have the "best bike". Casey stoner proved any bike came be ridden to win..
But mainly. All are different times.. compare lap times now, to back then. You can have 5 guys within half a second. Older times. Some guys would have fastest lap by seconds. Please do not compare things that Cannot be comparable.. All were great riders of their time. It's that Simple. MM93 is the King as of now. Quatro seem to be making his name known. Anything can happen...
@Jonas Jonaitis yeah, that’s it. He didn’t take one of the mediocre bikes on the grid to win a ship. When Rossi didn’t even come close. Not to mention, Rossi was on one of the best bikes every year he won. Literally. And not only did Casey win. He destroyed that season. He had 367 and his teammate had 166 total points. Yeah, the bike suited him. We’ll never know though.
