📌 VAL GRANDE '44, HISTORY OF THE ROUND-UP
The idea to make the documentary came after reading a book by Nino Chiovini entitled 'Mal di Val Grande'.
I decided to start this project to try to tell you what I have discovered, and what many people still ignore, about this beautiful park.
Given the sensitivity of the subject, I would like to point out that in these videos I wanted to focus only on the historical account of the events, without any allusion to any messages of political ideals that might arise from the story.
When telling the story, bear in mind that the testimonies given may be inaccurate, especially with regard to numbers and dates, as they were often given several years after the events.

Grazie a lei per la risposta tempestiva. Seguirò volentieri anche gli ultimi due video, e spero di riuscire a venire all'evento di sabato 22 giugno a milano presso la Casa della Memoria di Milano. Tra i titoli di coda ho letto che qualche materiale e informazione l'ha raccolta presso il Museo dei Vigili del Fuoco di Milano. Io lavoro proprio in quel Comando di via Messina. Grazie e a presto.

ciao mi chiamo Alessandro Rosa in casa é da quando sono bambino che sento parlare di mio nonno deceduto a fondotoce. ho letto più di una volta i giorni della semina del "Peppo" per cercare di capire. tanti anni fa ho visto un video che si intitola val grande tra memoria e natura dove app.c é l'intervista sia al Peppo e anche all'alpigiano di cui non ricordo il nome. se non hai visto il documentario che ti ho indicato dovresti, perché mi sembra che il "Peppo" fosse proprio lì al casa Rolo. poi sempre sempre del Peppo nei giorni della semina spiega quando é nata la giovine Italia e il tutto a delle incongruenze dal tuo racconto. se mai avrai voglia di fare due chiacchiere chiedi di me al circolo di cicogna. ti ringrazio per il tuo lavoro. per non dimenticare mai.
