📌 VAL GRANDE '44, HISTORY OF THE ROUND-UP
The idea to make the documentary came after reading a book by Nino Chiovini entitled 'Mal di Val Grande'.
I decided to start this project to try to tell you what I have discovered, and what many people still ignore, about this beautiful park.
Given the sensitivity of the subject, I would like to point out that in these videos I wanted to focus only on the historical account of the events, without any allusion to any messages of political ideals that might arise from the story.
When telling the story, bear in mind that the testimonies given may be inaccurate, especially with regard to numbers and dates, as they were often given several years after the events.

Quello che racconta il Rovo non corrisponde a quello che a detto alla presentazione del suo filmato, Disse: Io e il mio amico scappammo da Milano x andare a Verbania, noi eravamo teste calde, o via o ci arrestavano, giunti a Intra chiedemmo di Superti, e andammo a cercarlo, Io lo volevo ammazzare perchè non mi piaceva la sua politica, Per mangiare prendevamo tutto quello che si trovava. Furono presi dai partigiani e portati a Colloro, Superti disse ai suoi ---portateli al Lut--Era il posto dove i partigiani fucilavano i traditori. Rovo era a conoscenza del posto, e a un certo punto loro si buttarono giù in una scarpata,riuscendo a salvarsi dai colpi sparati, attraversarono il Toce e andarono da Muneghina, che sapeva tutto, e li mando via, così loro si rifugiarono sui monti fino alla fine, per poi tornare a Milano.
