Icy Cold i think they just got fed up with how she treated them. especially jamal. all she did was bitch at them for caesar mistakes when all they were doing is helping him. ex; the church scene when it was too late and jamal didn’t find the roller world money, monse blamed what caesar got involved in and what he would have to do next, all on jamal when he shouldn’t have been put as the fault in the first place. i honestly think monse wasn’t even the glue, they just had to tolerate her since monse was dating caesar and caesar was ruby and jamal best friend.

honestly he’s right but this is still a big heartbreak of the friendship ending because they were friends since they were five. i do think that omb started to loose focus a bit, they focused the friend group about saving cesar and without saving cesar there is nothing left for the friend group.
I think it was on purpose the alteration from ceased. I believe the lack of substance in the friendship was purposely highlighted within the season for them to properly move on
Season 4 something will happen with Monce that will bring them back together
they all went through trauma, it seemed the only way for the directors to see them move on from the past is to remove everyone from the past too
I think they kinda showed this in season 3 at the end because at the end when cuchillos died, monse asked them to hangout. And you can tell that one) they were still a bit hung up over what was said in the woods and two) they don’t know what to do anymore because (everyone seems to forget this but all of this happened in their freshman year) they’ve had conflict after conflict and now it’s like what? Chill? Like back in middle school? How? And even though I wished they had focused on that earlier before the end of the season or had more episodes to focus on it, it kinda seems like the writers realized that the group forgot what normal friendships are like.

What made me mad season 3 was that no one believed he was sleeping with someone. It is shown throughout the season that Jamal does not lie, he can’t keep a secret. It really showed they’re colors, like y’all think so little of him that y’all don’t think someone would want to be with him. Trifling.

Actually this makes so much sense why they not friends no more. They have been through so much stuff that all of that eventually pulled them apart. I’m sure there intentions were honestly friendly in season 1. But tbh Ceaser did ruby hella wrong season 1 and Ruby was still loyal to some girl that was messing around with his homeboy. Jamal is crazy and he does do to much, but he was definitely there and trying to share the money with all of them to help out ceaser and Ruby’s family and also they left him all of the time. And they still treat him very messed up tbh. And ceaser ass is irritating and he gets mad at all of them for trying to help him and he is the one that got them into this stuff with the gang. And monse says how much she loves everybody but is always ready to leave them and calling them butt heads every 5 seconds. So they grew up they matured they realized these mfs are a lot to deal with I need a damn break and now they not friends so tbh the ending makes the most sense realistically then any of the endings.

what i missed from this season that was so prominent with season 1 and 2 was the comedy. like season 3 took a dark turn and it had some great one liners but i fell in love with OMB because it had a great plot line and on top of that, it was crazy hilarious, but season 3 lacked that so much.

Jamal has been my day 1 fave, no.1, i literally started watching the show for him i love him so much, be he almost fell if the no1 spot at the end for spooky. But this, i think, has defended that spot
If you guys look back on season 3 it all lead up to what happened in the end. The whole season monse just seemed over it all the b.s everytime they’d fight & etc. Cesar got progressively angrier the whole season which built up to the choices he made . Ruby fell in love w Jasmine more and more and Jamal was really just finding his place within & by himself bc nobody really cared anytime he said something and kept telling him to shut up. The season ends 2 years later and I can’t even imagine how much more happened! They better renew for season 4 😭😭😭
ALSO I think they all grew up like people do in REAL life. Idk about you but I grew up in a similar environment and it’s hard to change especially when it’s a generational thing. People make choices either good or bad at that age emotions take over. Cesar is angry and that is what angry kids who think they know best for in the hood do. Monse has been wanting to get away, Jamal finally found a sense of self and people recognizing him notice how everyone at the table was surrounding him? Instead of always forgetting him like before. Ruby fell in love what’s he has literally been talking about since day one of the show. Since season 1 they been doing eachother all types of way Lmao
