I wish this review consisted stacking 12 cards inside and testing temps and airflow. Also a deeper evaluation of thickness of aluminum and rigidity. This felt WAY more like an overview/reading specs than an actual review. Not trolling but the case seems interesting but we needed more tests in a "review" video.

I need 6 of the x8 ultra’s but I just can’t rationalize the cost to the US. Appreciate the time you spent giving us your take on this. I will move to server case but haven’t found the right one to pull the trigger on.
Thanks man. The Octo is really great considering all the extra features it has, but I think from just a build quality standpoint the MineBox's are better.

Now that you have a builtin humidity sensor, do you plan to controll it? To prevent static buildup and corrosion.
Crypto - distributed wealth, unless you aren't wealthy. Octominer is a great example of how crypto is starting to fail its mission. Pay for 10 or pay absurd scalping prices for one... Na...
Octominer had done an event with Red Panda Mining where they lowered Quantity to just 1. They said they will do this once per quarter so just be on the look out.

Do you know if they are Rack Mountable? That is my only goal right now is to try and find something that is rack mountable and it seems like everything is sold out. Do you have any suggestions?
Can you just power up 2 PSU or do you have to power all 3 on? I just got mine today and waiting on power cables but dont have the need for 3600w yet. Can I just power 2 of them on and be ok or does it need to have all 3 on to work?
Minimum order of 5 was bad, and they just made it worse. Would love to have one of these however no chance considering the quantity and shipping. As for the alternative ... living in Canada... ordering from minerdude by the time you add import duty and exchange that would be a $2000 case. Simply cant justify anything close to that.
I am wondering what would be GPU temperatures if you would take out fans out from the GPUs and do the cooling only woth case fans. You know like in ASICs :) (just for the sake of saving gpu fan usage)
Hello. I trying to find information about the PciE slots... is it gen3? 16x? Reason I ask I have alot of 3060 v1 card, that I use developer driver + hdmi plug to get full hashrate.Thanks :)
Very good product, bad pricing, it's delivered from hong kong, plus the taxes and delivery, minimum per unit will be around 1200 usd, mining if done right will be a rich men's hobby. Is it worth? only you can decide that, for me is not. ROI on most gpus are around 600 days already and will only get worse from here if cryptos stay sideways and even worse if starts crashing even more, bear market very possible and profitability below $0.30 per gpu very possible too, many coins are already at $0.40 per day net.
The Octominer CEO and head of marketing were live on an RPM giveaway last month. At that time they opened single orders and said that they plan on doing it quarterly
If the target group are small miners they failed, overpriced. We tune our gpus to be most efficient to save on energy and then we throw everything over board and buy one of those for an absurd amount. Sry i rather dispense some features and save 2/3 as buying those. I rly like the designe and features, its smart but not for this price.
Checkout the X8 Ultra or X8 Ultra Plus as those are more appropriate for home miners than the X12.
I have 15 open air rigs and would love more control over my airflow, but at this stage of the cycle it wouldn't be a wise investment.

serious question now, how can a smalltime miner get one of those. the website accepts only 10 bulk orders thats like 8k for 1 shipment. and allthough i would want to be able to facilitate them all i would be far far from able to actually do that.
It's tough man. Word is that a few times through the year they'll reduce the order quantity.

You can't unless you get 5 minimum in one go... I ended up going with s37 case from ebay. Will have 5 one day, just not all at once...
Short answer is NO after your realize how cheap there parts are, once you put together a open air case with power supplys it comes out to the same price, octominer wants to charge you 200 plus for shipping then takes up to 10-20 days to come in then u cant order just one unless they have a promo going on you have to order 5 plus cases comes out over $4,400.00

What that is pricey for a home build...
Unless we buy 10 it's impossible to buy them, one of the large CZcams's should buy some in bulk and start selling them to us...octominer seemed to find every large crypto miner and gave them a ton of these it seems...funny how most of the comments are the same, fail on the mission, fail for the little miner, on the live stream no good reason they can't sell directly to individuals.

For me the cost of a octominer is too much with shipping, I prefer invest in water cooling and hash 70 souls with my 2080 super x)
It's a great server case but let's be honest my brother, it's barely suitable for even 5% of your audience, we are not big time home miners like you (yet!) LOL
I can buy so many things in term of hardware with $1000 USD :$

He has the 8 gpus, these are 12 gpus. If I had to buy then would be for 12 gpus, cost benefit would be for high density only, eth mining might be done this year and then what else ? nothing good can come out of this.
