NVIDIA only for the container jobs which is what is bringing profitability.

This is tempting but I wonder how much babysitting this thing will need compared to a mining rig where I can leave going for days/weeks/months without ever touching it.

Would setting a power limit on the gpu cause you not to earn?

Ive currently got a x99 with xeon 5 2650 v4, 64gb ram and a 3060 12gb...not getting where common salad tossers seem to get... I might get close to a buck a day.. but im going to be upgrading my cooling and look at putting in my shop that has a bit better Internet. .. working on putting together a second build that im going to hopefully test the possibility of using a tesla k80 24gb card, 64gb ram and ryzen 9 3650x 16core... We shall see..lots to learn for me as ive never used an accelerator card..

Yes 3090s will have more consistent jobs with the higher VRAM.

My 3060 is calculating for almost 12hrs without finding any job? What should I do to troubleshoot or I have to wait more and more to get the job?
It will always say calculating if you have bandwidth sharing on. If you have it off that means it's not finding a job. 32GB RAM is definitely needed if you don't have it already. Check task manager like I did in this video and make sure vmmem is building. Jump in my Discord if you need help.

Only other thing I was going to look into was CloreAI but I'm still just on the surface of researching that. If it was profitable everyone would probably be talking about it.

Anyone get Salad to work? I've tested on multiple machines with multiple single GPUs - crashes constantly with different Nvidia drivers.
Still working good for me and others. Just crashes at launch?
@@RedFoxCrypto grinds for a bit, then whole machine reboots. Been mining for years so familiar with how to troubleshoot. I'll keep at it.

Hello friend, I did what you said when it starts loading and then it stays stable and continues searching!! I have a ryzen 9 5950x with a 3090 and 64gb ram but sometimes the jobs don't come in!!! And another thing I noticed is that despite having crypto mining disabled, there must be some way to circumvent that, because there are jobs that push my GPU to the limit as if it were a core miner, it blocks ram anyway and consumes the 3090 at 430w without lowering! !! that's mining friend!!! In that case I limit the gpu to 70 percent until the user exits

Well it was fun as long as it lasted. Fri-Sun perfect and now monday i get no work. Have to turn on mining aspects of it to make it work.

@@RedFoxCrypto Ye it went perfect fine from Fri-Sun then on sunday i decided to turn off my PC becuase its next to my bed and i wanted to sleep for work. Turned it on today and so far no container work at all. I made around 1.8 dollars per day. I have a RTX 3080 10 GB card and 32 GB of DDR4 ram 2666 mhz. Not geting any container jobs at all now,only says calculating. And i have tried the close down the Salad bowl service as you did in the video. I get a container up for a while but it dos not grow and then it closes down everytime i do that service close down. And only says calculating. So ye i dont know 😊 I know one thing tho,if i get it to work again i wont turn off my PC again 🤣

Might as well warn ppl that containers are in short supply, so more ppl jumping in is gonna ruin the profits for everyone, but i guess we are already used to do that in mining so what the hell right?

Why are you using a power-hungry 11700K? Just use a more power efficient T CPU or AMD

Test rtx a4000 more profitable than 3060
The only reason your earnings show double what you are seeing is because you are still in your double profitability period, if you get referred you get double the rate for your first 5 bucks. So to show what you are making before you have made that 5 dollars you are not showing your true earnings!
