I was dealing with bad acne around my chin and one day decided to switch to natural deodorant. It only took a week and my skin became clear! There are so many chemicals in everything we put on our body and once you start switching to natural products the change is so noticeable!

TY Cassandra. But I do have to say. We do not earn beauty. We are born with it. Just because we cannot recognize it does not mean it is there . It is much more than skin deep. Having great skin is just the cherry on top to the great beauty you already behold.

girl! I love you for all of this amazing information! I am at the stage where I have a full inflamed face of cystic acne, I was taking antibiotics to treat a yeast infection just yesterday! and I just realized that contraceptives and spironolactone that my dr prescribed me is the culprit and the reason why my acne won't go away! I from the bottom of my heart am love you truly for all of this information! I make acne videos and you can see that the past 2 months have been nothing but more and more cysts on my face, depression and stress thru the roof from me always overthinking and overanalyzing my skin and always feeling down because of my appearance. I just yesterday decided to go fully vegan! I am not doing it raw tho as I am still pretty new and I am at a loss as of what to eat. but I agree, meat and dairy and unfortunately nuts for me is what causes my acne!. I have a huge hormonal imbalance this is why on the 20th of nov I have an endocrinologist appointment but I am truly considering cancelling that appointment and just follow your guidance instead. thank you Cassandra!

Hi Cassandra, I juste discovered you and your videos. I've suffered from acne for years. I tried in the past to take birth control to heal it, but when I stopped it after 2years, it was even worst! All what you say, I started to try it since september, when I met a naturopath. There are many things you say she told me, diet etc.. but I've learnt new things listening to you, that's complementary to what I already knew (and you speak english so clearly, I'm french and I get everything, that's amazing haha). I still have acne today, I think 3 months aren't enough to have a better skin, but I keep hoping !! Your case is an example that it does work !! A huge energy comes out from you, that's so fortifying and enjoyable to see, keep going !!

beauty is something you are born with. I like your message but I want the other girls and guys to know that they are beautiful and loved no matter what. Just like when a baby is born they don't earn that love from their parents, they are given it! You are worth everything to God and you are beautiful no matter how you feel about yourself. But, doing good for others is a beautiful thing and will show more of who you truly are inside. By doing good for others you are essentially letting your inner beauty shine. And you will be happier And start to understand who you are. But you yourself are beautiful and loved regardless.

hello Cassandra, since you are an educated woman in the skin care topic, i must ask for your opinion on one thing.
does popping pimples on your own propagate pimple growth? i have noticed that if i don't pop those in their early stages, they WILL grow bigger and more inflamed and if not touched at all, WILL turn into an annoying black head that WILL periodically turn into a pimple.
how do YOU treat small outbreaks?

I need help. Every dermatologist/allergist i have been to do not help me. I am allergic to beef, coconut, tree nuts, sweet potato, lentils, pork. I don't know if i am allergic to any chemicals in my laundry detergent but i have a gut feeling that i am. I am currently seeking my masters degree in nutrition and soon to be a registered dietitian. I cannot help others if I cannot even help myself. I have had this issue since the 5th grade and I am at the lowest point in my life.

Hi cassandra, I've watched your other part of your vids and I found out that we have similar case of acne/allergies I have pimples on ny face, my chest and my back. It's so disgusting it keeps coming back, I already used alot of different products hoping that could rid of my acnes 😪😒😩 One time I went to a skin clinic and prescribed me a medicine so like I've been taking it for 3weeks and somehow it lessened and at the same time I used their soap, moisturizer plus they prevent me to avoid eating foods that can cause my pimples to get many. as what I''ve observed its a little effective, but after I stop using the medication those acnes are coming back again😤😖☹️ and I can't avoid to eat those prohibited foods then you've mention as well that you change your eating methods. Im planning to be a vegetarian but what are those foods that you eat during your curing time? please reply Im not allowed to eat, dairy products, redmeats, salty foods, junkfoods, shrimp, etc and they advised me to eat vegies, fruits except mango and pineapple, avoid oily foods and blah blah.... thank you

Do you think second hand cigarette smoke effects acne? My parents smoke all the time and it’s very hard to get away from it.. I don’t notice it but I’m sure my house smells like cigarettes. I was just reading something about how smoke effects the skin and it says to use products that stimulate blood flow and stimulate collagen, and I just want to make sure that I’m not reading miss information😩 I’m trying to educate myself on my skin so I can get to the root to this and it’s almost a defeating feeling because I’m watching all your videos about things that cause acne and like for years I’ve been doing all these little things that problem are worsening my acne. I stoped washing my face with hard products and only used witch hazel and stoped using makeup but then my skin broke out a little.. and I got insecure... and I used coverup again, then it broke out a little more(I’m pretty sure when I first broke out it was only hormonal and from stress and I should have never put cover up back on it) sense I broke out more o thought I needed to be washing my face better and so I started washing it with some Neutrogena oil free daily scrub and then I really started breaking out and I got stressed and it got really bad again and I’m so stressed because of it now bc before all of this I was finally confident. So I stoped using the stuff I was using and went back to just makeup wipes, water, witch hazel, but then I started using aloe bc I think I don’t have oily skin I just have overly dry skin bc for YEARS I used harsh stuff trying to get rid of my cystic acne but I think the aloe was breaking me out so now I want to try what you recommended for moisturizers. I bought some cheap African black soap from Shea moisture and I just used it yesterday and now I’m not going to use it again bc I just read a ton of bad stuff on it. I want to get the pillow you recommended and I really need to find a good detergent from Walmart bc as of rn sense I live at home and I’m still in high school I can’t get my parents to “go out of there way” to but detergents or soaps online... I’m sorry a lot of this is all jumbled together, I’m just very frustrated because there’s so many things I need to change that are causing acne and my parents don’t believe that all these little things cause my acne so they won’t help really at all so I have to buy these things myself and I don’t make much money as of rn and I’m just so so so so frustrated😩 I cannot wait to have my own place and have more natural non harmful products that don’t have bad chemicals. I’m doing a lot of research and weighting things down so I know what to not buy.. it just very hard with not much help.

Chemicals have enormous influence on me as well. That's why it's so great that the EU regulates all the chemicals much more strictly than in the US. I know that there are, like 11 chemicals which are banned as unsafe to use in the US, while in Europe there are around 1,300! Crazy, right? Also, just to be safe, I use apps which tell me whether the ingredients in my shampoo, cream are potentially harmful or not. Great tool when trying new products.

What’s in your perfume causing acne is ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCE! (Also listed in ingredients as “parfum”). It’s a known endocrine distrupter and therefore causes acne

    • @heredianna2496

madseb Hi, natural fragrance such as ess oils or flower extract also break me out. So natural or artificial when you skin is sensitive and prone to break out easily you need to avoid any superficial ingredients to lower the risk of bad reactions...
