    Hi, good review,I went for the version 2 goggles in the end as have been using my friend V2 before and love the big FOV I like the immersion and being able to adjust the focus on the fly is definitely worth it,it doesn't matter who has a go you can adjust it accordingly .was £150 but I'm sending all this so might as well get it all.keep up the good work 👍😊

    I used the Integra for about a week and returned them.
    I just received the goggles 2 and I must say the increased field of view in 4:3 aspect ratio as well as the diopter adjustment makes the goggles 2 well worth the extra $150. The touchpad also is fairly intuitive. The Integra goggles are not immersive which I guess is okay for a lot of people.
    So much of this is very very subjective.

      What about motion tracking?

    • @cwkennedy
      @cwkennedy Před rokem +2

      I have been considering purchasing the Integra goggles to use with my Mini 3 Pro, but I am unsure I want to use the motion controller 2, and feel DJI might be going slightly backwards with the Integras especially from a perscription glasses wearer's perspective. Being able to adjust the diaopters as easily as Billy demonstrated on the Goggles 2 set is a glasses wearer's dream, with the ability to quickly show your friend or wife the view from above, not having to pause, taking out the lenses as would be needed with the Integra goggles. Also if a person wears contact lenses one day, perscription glasses the next. Just less to do. If it's the expense that DJI is claiming to save, it's ALL expensive, :) and convenience is overall above expense in my opinion.😀 I hope DJI continues listening to their customers on these topics.

    Great comparison, I have the Integra goggles now and I’m very glad that I upgraded. I’m coming from the DJI goggles FPV version, so never experience the goggles 2. I do miss the fit of the larger goggles FPV version, but I love the lighter weight in the integrated battery of the Integra.
    I also think it’s great that they included the top head strap which I found buried in the packaging in case I want a more secure fit for longer flights.

    Your vid totally helped me make up my mind. Integra it is! Quick question though - I'm about to pull the trigger on the Chimera Pro V2 with O3. Any intel on whether these goggles vibe well with that drone? Also, after I do the FCC hack, am I looking at a solid video range of like 5-6 km with decent penetration?

    With the Integra - if you want to quickly borrow your goggles to a friend, you first have to fiddle with the lense kit... no go, especially since the lenses are made ofnplastic and scratch very easily. Also: the reduced FOV = reduced FUN. And what happens to the integrated battery if someday it fails, or if you break one of the antennae? Goggles 2 all the way - I love them!

    Thanks for another great review Billy. I guess my take away is that I would prefer the Integra goggles as well. However, my eyes are very picky and when I buy DSLR cameras, I’m always adjusting the diopter to almost max in one area or another to get good sharp focus. Do you have any thoughts on whether that would be a dealbreaker for me and I should stick with the originals? That ability to do the plus/-2. Focus is very appealing. Anyway, hope you’re well. Thanks.

I plan to get the Mini 3 pro later on which was another reason for getting the Integra. I'm hoping they'll sell the M3PRO drone, fly more plus kit and fix where the motion controller will work with it as a discounted price in the future. I'm going to check out the differences in mine and the motion controller 2 now.

    I’m loving the Avata with the Integra goggles and the motion 2 controller. I needed the upgraded soft fit foam to make a good seal.
    If you’re looking for that foam don’t search Integra accessories. You will only find the OEM or original replacement foam. You need to search soft fit. I’m assuming it fits all their goggles. DJI website needs some updates. They have great support on n chat or phone but the website is ridiculous. Another thing I found out when flying the Avata is… “auto record when take off” doesn’t mean just that. You still have to push the button on the controller to record a video…🙄

    Concerning the Integra goggles - if you go to the expense to have your eyeglass prescription transferred into lenses for the Integra Goggles, you might be disappointed to find out that the two fixed Integra lenses (which cannot be removed) can actually distort the overall prescription quality. A prescription lens is made to be viewed through the naked eye. If the built in Integra lens was a flat clear (no optics) glass, the prescription lens would probably work. My eyesight is poor, which necessitates a more complex lens. People with a better vision history may be able to use the addition lens with less problems. I say, bring back the diopter adjustment!

    When it comes to the Remote ID, I don't know why DJI just doesn't make a small device you can plug into the USB-C on either your Goggles v2 or Goggles 2 so you don't need to rely on the phone connection? I get the Integra's are new and all, but I feel you sacrifice a lot of things that the Goggles 2 has equipped. The design of having a battery built better on the back is cool, but knowing if something goes wrong with the battery. You cannot not just remove the battery pack and replace it yourself. It has to be sent to DJI.
    I don't have the 20/20 vision and the thought of I can just had my Goggles 2 to a friend and they can quickly adjust the display for their eyes is a huge plus. You also lose the sensor inside the Goggles 2. I get some people are not a big fan of the touch sensor. I honestly don't have an issues with it at all. It takes a little getting use too, but seems many just like to turn something into a huge deal about the touch screen. If you do accidentally open the display it isn't hard to quickly exit out. No big deal. I actually like it and I can't be the only one.,

    After viewing all those positive reviews on CZcams I just had the “integra” and dissappointed deeply!
    First of all,
    it does NOT fit on the face properly because of that brittle foam padding which also makes the integra really uncomfortable.
    This fitting problem also creates a view focusing problem because the screens are never angled correctly to the eyes…
    It also makes the wearer almost breathless because it squeezes the nose too much.
    Adjusting optics/dioptrics by changing lenses is another futile nightmare!
    Though I understand the fact that it is next to impossible to achieve a universal fit due to personal differences;
    1-My head, being on the large, side is quite ordinary dimensions wise.
    2-I had the first generation dji goggles and was happy with them but they, of course, do not work with the new generation of drones…
    3-I use a PS5 VR2 daily and have no such problems.
    Essentialy:
    Dear viewers,
    beware of the “biased” youtubers and definitely do NOT buy dji’s “new” generation of goggles without first TRYING them personally!
