Tamil happens to be the last to join the list. There are 11 requirements for a language to be qualified as classical language. Tamil happens to be the only language to meet all the 11 requirements. They need $6 million to keep the tamil chair permanent. Don't think it as a problem of Harvard University or USA or US tamils. Regarding “Keezhadi” let us not precipitate the issue by blaming either the central government or the State government as it will turn into yet another Cauvery issue .
Politicians may try to take advantage in their own interest that may ultimately spoil the fundamental issue of bringing the factual Tamil History itself. At the same time we will have to utilise the services of the very same Politically involved and interested people on the Tamil culture. We must take the confidence of the PM and CM to protect the entire 100 odd acres of Private Land for the excavation purpose. Every Tamilian interested in our Cultural heritage must judicially use our approach to unearth the 300 BC worth of our “Vaigai karai nagareegam”. If possible and necessary can use the direct public participation. Main issue will be to give liberal compensation to the private legitimate owners of the said land without any sort of legal issue to avoid the court of law indulgence.

Instead of building monuments for politician build a building for archaeological discoveries. If you do this this place will become a world renounced place for archaeologists and historians.
