IMPORTANT: This is a SHORT so yes, there are pages that got skipped over. Those pages are simply a Masonic family tree, and some various Bible study guides. The SCRIPTURE inside is the King James Version, and is unedited from the original KJV text. This particular book DOES NOT have Egyptian Gods at the back. Some versions DO have that, but they are there not for worship, but as part of the study guides that compare ancient religions and symbols to modern ones in much the same way that a college course might study the same things. It is to help us better understand the history of the Holy Land, not a call to worship "old gods".

Freemasonry is not evil. It descended from the Mystery Schools set up by the God of the Bible. I can assure you, I personally would've stopped studying it immediately, if I uncovered evil in any way associated with it. Its just the hidden truths of the beings that created you, me, and every other human and animal.
MM from GLOVA here. My Masonic Bible is identical to yours. When I see it I can still remember how I felt during the OBs. Other than that it's mostly just a normal Authorized version. 🙂
It sits on my Bible shelf along with ~ 20 others of different translations, study topics, etc etc. It's one of my favorites though!!! Probably a close 2nd to my grandpa's Bible which was passed down to me FILLED from front to back with his personal notes, reflections, prayers, pictures, and all kinds of other things like that.

Only issue is that Free Mason's are a fraternity, not a religious sect, they may follow the Christian belief system but the doctrine is different, so while the book is largely the same, the interpretation of the written word is different, I know they practice holy scripture but I'm fairly certain they don't cast spells to make buildings magically appear!

I showed it to a Christian pastor once and first thing he asks me to do is turn to page 666, I turned to page 666 and it was just a random part of the bible and sat there for 15 minutes looking for something I don't think he was actually able to find lol.

Most masons are Christian. I am a Christian. And one problem the Christians have is that most Christians are ignorant as to the history of their own faith. Yes, Christ founded one church, but there are many Christian denominations that have sprung from it. And there have been many many versions of the Bible throughout history. Even if you’re talking about the Bible used by the holy Roman catholic church, even that Bible has been changed and altered many many times over the centuries.
There is nothing at all in Freemasonry that conflicts with Christianity. In fact, the lessons of Freemasonry are drawn directly from Judeo Christian/ Abrahamic traditions.

Let me tell you about a small thing you missed. In the passages of Amos, where Amos sees the Lord with a plumb bob and then the Lord states that He has placed a plumb bob in the midst of Israel, the bob itself, a small thing, is referred to as an אֲנָךְ. Transliterated, it is anak. This word is derived directly from Sumerian 𒀭𒈾, referring to lead and tin, literally meaning "sky/god/heaven" and "stone." It is composed of the signs AN and NA. The Hebrews had another name for the plumb bob, a ha-eben ha-bedeel, which means literally "tin stone" in the exact format as AN-NA. So, why does their God use an anak? It is such a small thing, but the plumb line will prove their understanding of their foundation as flawed. Who destests the day of small things?

I've known two 33's, one used to hold "sessions" during break at work. He pointed out what's called the apochraphy. He suggested comparing a KJV vs a Catholic bible and the reasons for the differences. Not so much the translations, but what info is included/excluded, and as to how/why.
Also, what I've read/ learned about Mansonry, it's not inclusive/exclusive of religions but only that one accepts a Creator.
Maybe not good comparison, but something like the AA blue book.
The original KJV had the same books as the Catholic Bible. It was revised in the 19th century in the USA to exclude the apocryphal works and deuterocanonical because it was a desire by several reformed denominations to have their Old Testament align with Rabbinic Judaism Tanach. They didn't know that Christianity evolved out of Hellenic Judaism, which is older than Rabbinic Judaism.

Doesn't that contain information on the creation of the temple when Solomon was king? I found one of these before with other information before Genesis that pertained partially to that.

That’s unfortunate. He likely believes some incorrect things about Masonry.
Masonry is not a religion and there is nothing in Masonry that will interfere with your faith in any way shape or form. Some churches believe that if you’re active in your lodge, that you will have less time and money for the church. So there’s a “jealousy” element involved so to speak.
If there’s a lodge near you, go visit with them and talk to them personally before you make any decision. And there’s no rush. Lodges have been around since 1717. They are not going anywhere.

I was never a Freemason. My dad was and had a Mason Bible! We lived in a mining town. Most of the men in that town many relatives belonged to the local Masonic Lodge. Dad read me to sleep many times from Bible stories as a child. I always knew Jesus Words were in red. Also the Masons done so much good for the town. Also helped with families that may have had a child needing special medical help sending them to a Shriners Hospital in the Cities!

That’s odd. I got a Masonic Bible at Goodwill imprinted with someone’s name. It was different inside. It had all the books, yes, but it had more about Solomon. Lots about Solomon. Drawings, diagrams, a big focus on Solomon. What was most odd is when I took it to work to look at it, people came out of the woodwork. “Where did you get that?” And “that is supposed to be buried with the person who received it.” Some people seemed genuinely irritated I had a Masonic Bible.
You can literally go and buy a Masonic Bible from Amazon right now. There’s no restriction on anyone buying or owning them. That’s all nonsense. Most of it coming from the history channel and ridiculous Internet sites. We use the allegory of king Solomon to teach lessons.

I’ve never seen that done. Perhaps in some grand lodges that is a tradition. But personally I have not see that ever. Or even ever heard of it. So I think that’s “cap” as the kids say.
