    I plan on joining both. I just don't know which one I want to do first. I was just recently raised, so in the meantime, I'm going to continue contemplating and studying the Blue Lodge

    I belong to both. St. Andrew's Royal Arch Chapter (not ark) of Boston has been operating since 1769. In the Western Hemisphere we are the oldest. We are also the place where the Order of Knight Templar was first conferred. I am not sure why the reader says ark and not arch. We and the 2nd chapter in MA formed the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of MA. That group (with others) later formed the General Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons International. I love the history.
