Re: conflation of anti-zionism with antisemitism. Virtually all accusations of antisemitism levied against the actions of Soviet Union's government are examples of that. The trope is old, and it's not just the disposession and murder of Palestinians it's used to excuse.

The law about not allowing Israeli citizens of Arab/Palestinian descent to move to certain areas reminds me of pre civil rights America where certain suburbs had bylaws or rules written into the housing deeds/titles that non whites couldn’t own or live in them.

Yeah, the ottoman law was part of the wave of early modern privatisations - it didn't allow for collective ownership as a model, and that was the status quo of the majority of the land in large parts of the empire

A minor(ish) point, but the IHRA definition wasn't, technically speaking, codified in law. Congress passed a tesolution****, which doesn't carry the weight of law, but it does set a precedent and creates space for law enforcement and government agencies to base policy on it. Not to mention shaping the public discourse.
****I cant recall off the top of my head, but there may have been two separate resolutions passed at different times. One recognizing the IHRA definition and another explicitly equating anti-zionism with anti-semitism.

I was also surprised to hear JT and Yugo making small reactions from time to time. Interesting yet very respectable to be quiet while the most closely engaged in the region (Hakim) takes the lead.

lots of sources and videos on YT. even the Bible talks about the 10 "lost" tribes mixing with the "Philistines", the proto-palestinian people.

You seem to not understand how humans came to be if you need a "source."
There were people in Palestine who had moved there from Africa (where Homo sapiens evolved/originated from). Fast forward thousands of years. Everyone is sucking and fucking, their skin adapts to be less dark due to less radiation from the sun, etc. They now look like modern people from that very broad Egypt/Palestine/Iraq/Yemen etc. area. At some point a group of these people, the Jews, leave for whatever reason (the Bible offers a possible reason). These people migrate all over into Africa, Europe, deeper into the east into Iraq, Iran, even a few made it to China. Fast forward thousands of years. The European descendants of these people now have lighter skin from a mixture of adaptation to less sunlight and having kids with the local lightly skinned populations. However, remember the other people originally in the Palestine area remained there. Thus, ethnic Jewish people today and modern Palestinians would share ancestors, although millennia of mixing with outside populations also means that their DNA is simultaneously fairly distant. In some cases anyway. None of this really matters though beyond a slight dig at Zionists when you inform them they're murdering their ancient cousins it does make them asshurt.

Yeah no the bible isn't a good historical source. Apparently though there's Israeli genetic research hoeing that Palestinians have the best genetic match with the bronze age populat
ions of Palestine. And again apparently, the ashkénaze are the second closest, which is surprising. It mghtmean that they spenta bigger portion of their history segregated
