Thank you Heidi. I’m so happy to be in the Confident Herbalist Tribe. I’m so blessed to have found you as I’m mentor!
Thanks, Amy!
I enjoy the learning and the teaching in all the groups that I am in. The knowledge is priceless. Something to teach and pass down to others. Thank you Heidi and Joe V.
It is...thanks, Michele! It truly gives us a chance to leave a legacy!
I’m so sorry for the family of the lady that passed. Thank you for sharing about herbal safety. Your videos are helpful to so many people.
Oh, Rebecca---I am too. I wish they'd report accurately instead of blaming it on a safe herb. It could save more lives.
But mulberry is good 👍🏽 for you!
Thank You for your concern, passion and information.
Thank you so much!
I have an old white mulberry tree that fell over in a storm but is still alive. My chickens love to roost in it and eat the berries every summer. I didn’t realize until hearing the story about the congressman’s wife that mulberry leaf was even used medicinally, but now that I know I feel so blessed to have this additional ally close by. I believe the official cause of her death was dehydration, and it would be extremely difficult to attribute the cause of that to an herb.
I know....it's ridiculous. And more ridiculous are the people who believe that chicanery!
I totally agree with you on this! Thank you for all of your information on living healthy.
Thanks, Onara!
You're sharing good wisdom, Heidi.
Thanks, Chris! I was SO disturbed by the media's coverage of this sad situation.
Well said. Thank you for sharing your story.
I'm going through this right now. Using what God has created for us all.
I think when people realize we're more than a set of symptoms, and that all parts of our being (mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical) are attended to, our health comes together and our bodies have a much better chance of attaining balance. And you can't do this with most man-created drugs.
The Mulberry tree, mainly the _White Mulberry_ has been used by humans since ancient times. It was a main driver in the Silk Road, used to cultivate silkworms for the production of silk, but also used for it's fruit and leaf's for human consumption and it's amazing medicinal benefits.
It was first introduced to the U.S. in colonial times for the same health and food benefits used in Ancient China, and also due to the plants ruggedness and ability to grow in disturbed, salty/sandy soil.
I have two large trees near my home in MA. I've been tempted to propagate some but due to the Mulberry being considered an invasive species I've decided against doing such. I just use what i can from these two trees. Trying to beat the small birds to the fruit once ripened has always proved difficult😅. Checked this morning and the berries are beginning to turn from green to white.
Important side note: *The unripened berries are toxic to humans due to their latex content. Only consume ripe Mulberries. Also, in one study out of Penn State University, they found that the trees bark was shown to have negative health ramifications to humans with regular exposure. Such as nausea, dehydration, digestive issues, dizziness and fatigue. This study didn't single out exactly what substance(s) within the bark was the caused for these symptoms.*
Thank you so much for the notes!!! I appreciate you!
@@HeidiVillegas I appreciate you as well my lady. I recently crossed your channel and I've been quite happy with the content.
Omg, I just noticed you posted a Burdock video. My son and I found a bunch during our morning walk today.
When I first saw it I wasn't sure what it was so I took some photos and a sample home to identify it.
Off to watch your latest video.✌🏾
See, now (I am not an herbalist expert by any means) in Chinese culture they use the unripe berries, the root, the twigs, and the parasite infested bark ...but harvested at different times for different reasons. A lot of times I find that a lot of things that the states, big pharma etc. Tell us are harmful are more than likely the opposite. Just like when they ran a study on ivermectin being bad for us, but didn't share that the study was done ON HIGH DOSES of ivermectin. Idk. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Hi Heidi, I just found your channel.
I was curious, are there any herbs you’d recommend for their anti-inflammatory or antioxidant effects?
And on the flip side, are there any herbs out there people take that you would deem to be potentially unsafe or plain useless?
When I say dangerous herbs, I mean ones that are on the market to be taken as a supplement and promoted to be used… when really they are not very safe, have a lot of risk factors, or dont have much actual science and evidence behind its claims.
There are many in both categories! I should make a video on this. In our school, especially the herbal membership, The Confident Herbalist Tribe, we discuss both and lots more extensively!
Thanks Heidi! The Tribe is great and I can’t wait to start the Ditch the Drug Store course next mont!
Ditch the Drugstore is so fun!
And useful!
Thanks Heidi!
You are so welcome!
Hi what can my child of 15 yr take for allergies? not to foods but seasonal wat herbal can
I start having him take thnx
I suggest looking into mullein and marshmallow in equal amounts. There are many other wonderful herbs that can be helpful too. And...essential oils. Be sure to explore my website: www.healingharvesthomestead.com There are hundreds of articles there and also here on youtube!
So, I have 2 white mulberry trees in my yard. I'm trying to find out if they are toxic to humans. I'm finding a lot of conflicting information online.
There is always conflicting info, and you just need to be discerning between historical/anecdotal use versus scientific studies versus the hysteria of fear mongers.
Thank you
You're welcome💖 And thank you back for the comment, Cecilia!
Is your Mighty Network only for paying students/paying Members ?
Yes, I used to open the private (off social media) platform for everyone, but I had SO much spam, trash talking, and community rule breaking---it became just like FB. I decided to make that platform for only students of Ditch the Drugstore and the Confident Herbalist Tribe because I dig in deeply and provide a LOT of support for their herbal and essential oil path. I do have a private herbal/essential oil Facebook group called Practical Herbs and Oils with Heidi....but to be honest, I'm not there much. Facebook is a free-for-all, and you canNOT trust the random information there. I do my best to monitor that group, and I have a lot of helpers, but it doesn't matter. I would love to have you join our student community sometime. It's amazing! Kind, respectful, supportive, extremely knowledgeable, searchable, and open about many kinds of health needs and other issues. Best---it's private.
How do I join your tribe? I see things by the hand of Yahuwah written in the torah about illness..amd herbs! I need more wisdom on this..most definitely 😅
Hi! I'd love for you to join us. Here's the information and enrollment page link: healingharvesthomestead.lpages.co/confident-herbalist-tribe/
Is it mulberry leaves tea good for kidney and liver??
It has a number of benefits, among them nutrition. So, to an extent...yes.
I concur
💖
That was excellent imformation
But you said nothing about the herb😢
I know...honestly, it's a mildly medicinal herb (in my opinion), and as far as weight loss goes, there is very little clinical evidence that it works. I'm searching, though! If it comes up that it's worth doing a video on, I sure will!
In Bible, God says He gives us herbs to heal us.
Yes!
where ? im under the impression fallen angels gave instructions on how to use the herbs to heal.i grow and use herbs every single day.
Is it OK to eat mulberries that fell to the ground and dried in the sun
I'm having trouble getting anybody to answer this question.
As long as they're edibles and are not in contaminated areas or moldy....yes, kt should be ok. It would be like eating a raisin dried in the sun.Be sure to do your research, though.
I want to be an herbalist! At videos on how u got started?

Heidi, How do I join the tribe?
Hi! You can find out more and join us here: healingharvesthomestead.lpages.co/confident-herbalist-tribe/
@@HeidiVillegas THANK YOU!!! That's a bit too much for my budget right now, but I do thank you kindly for the link. Perhaps I can join sometime in the future. I enjoy your videos and have learned so much from you! God bless you!
One of my very close and dear friends owned a health food store. Was on top of everything out there natural. Shockingly to all who knew her, she decided to have a facelift. And then died from MRSA. I trusted NOW brand products for years, however, there was a video someone put out showing one of their products melting styrofoam or something, so unfortunately it has made me not trust them anymore.
Hi, Juli! Wow. That's just scary! As far as the NOW products, I'm wondering if it could have been one of their essential oils? Certain essential oils, even (and maybe especially) high quality ones can melt styrofoam and sometimes even plastics! This is why essential oils need to be used with a lot of knowledge...and not knowledge from an essential oil distributor unless they're certified level 2 with NAHA or AIA.
Are you a believer...I need an herbalist..im a bible code searcher who looks up herbs hidden in the torah how do i get into your group?
I'm a Christian herbalist, so I practice with the viewpoint that God created our medicinal and edible plants perfectly for our good.
Are you learning codes in a class with a group such as from The Codesearcher or Light Unto the Gentiles or on your own somehow?
It would be very interesting to use codes to find natural remedies for common illnesses. Have you found anything Yet?
@@HeidiVillegas what program are you using?
Herbs are the best
They sure are!
Yea carful a stone is natural, and can be fatal.
LOL True that
3 mins of nonsense
Thanks for the comment!
