Have you looked into meditation, in addition to herbal medicine? I've found a lot of great research on breathing techniques and meditation being able to lower cholesterol and high blood pressure. It's so weird because Eastern medicine seems to know this, but Western medicine suggests pharmaceuticals before free modalities.

The red raspberry leaves had some moisture in them. That's why it was clumping. You can just run it through the freeze dryer again... If it hasn't started molding. I recommend getting a moisture meter to check if the freeze dried food is 100% dry

And yet another wonderful soul to have come across my screen when I come over to CZcams!! Very new to all of this, but having the best time ever, as I work through digestive issues, and being a 65 year old tuff girl!! Well, not so tough now, but working my way through, thanks to folks like you! A very wonderful first video for me to watch. Your cupboard is inspirational, along with the info!! We discovered a hawthorn tree on our acreage - we have been here 32 years, and never knew it was there!! We missed the flowers, but harvested some leaves, and have been using them steady for about three weeks. Can tell the difference for sure! I ordered the flower and leaves from an online source, but will be ready next spring to harvest! Would like to know your thoughts on using only the leaves - and can I continue to harvest them from now, until fall. Thank you in advance, and again, very happy your video showed up!!

Yes people should look after the heart. I have had two heart attacks, the last one was just before the new year. I had a heart attack & I don't drink alcohol or eat meat or dairy & have not for a long time. Many many years in fact.... Before I had my heart attack I washed all my good clothes, suits shirts jeans ,and t-shirts. The best clothes I owned. Took them all up to the British Heart Foundation in the city centre on the bus. Three journeys over a couple of weeks. Then had a heart attack. But I was in & out within 24 hours with a new stent. But now my heart runs in the lower 40% . I gave all my clothes to charity because I don't need that many & I am going back packing in a couple of years. All the way around England Wales & Scotland, maybe Eire as well.. I have to hope my heart holds out now . I keep watching your videos so I can learn what I can eat & drink on my travels. It will be a great adventure. I think I will learn more as I am actually doing it & sleeping under a tree or bush watching your videos.

I'm on EBT/SNAP so I'm limited on what I can purchase, however, I was able to purchase organic Nettle from a Japanese supermarket in my area. I LOVE NETTLE. It helped me with a histamine reaction, helped me with a panic attack, helped me as a diuretic (which is why I purchased it to begin with). Hawthorne I don't have access too. I can likely get some Red Raspberry Leaf for like a dollar or so from a local spice market (Pike Place Spice Market). What can I do instead of Hawthorne that is likely common, and what can I use instead of Hibiscus (I'm allergic). I wasn't feeling like going out today, but in the morning I'm going to purchase some rosehips as they usually have it at that Japanese supermarket as well. Its where I found the Tulsi, only the Tulsi was mixed with other herbs (spearmint, fennel, orange peel). I'm getting rosehip anyway to go with my chamomile & lavender for a relaxing blend.

I though nettle had to be brewed much longer than the other items. Does a short brewing time get much out? If not, I would probably re-use the herbs for infusing in a jar in the fridge for at least 8 hours. That would get so much goodness from the nettle.

Do you have your tea recipes available?

Good afternoon honeystead! I have a couple of questions for you and I wanted to know if this is the best way to communicate with you. I have a very complicated medical history and need some guidance. Something you said led me to believe that you do custom tea blends. Is this true? If so, how would you like my information. I am 64 years old Chiropractor and disabled from two neck surgeries. I have a few hundred hours in naturalopathy, homeopathy, energy work and many other things I have picked up along my lifetime. I live in horrible pain that impacts my activities sometimes hour by hour. I don't have any training in herbalism but would love to take a course. We are developing a homestead on our 3.25 acres and we are happy with what we have learned to do so far and my husband is retiring to part time at the end of the year which will give us a lot more time to work together on our projects that have been impatiently waiting to do. Please advise what information you need from me. Thank you and God Bless you for sharing your knowledge and hard work. I hope you are making a killing helping others :) In His service, Denise
