Streetlights is in Virginia. It's a 24 hour pool hall that requires a membership upon being approved for membership.
The jump cue came into prominence with the advent of the worsted fabrics, such as Simonis. Because with the older style of cloth, with its heavier nap, made getting the cueball airborne a lot easier, so it could be done fairly easily even with the player's regular cue. Old timers, like Earl and myself, were accustomed to having to jump with our playing cues, so we sort of saw the jump cue as a gimmick. But things change, and we have to move on and adapt I suppose, or else we get left behind. Never doubt, however, that Earl, as well as many of us older players, can handle the jump shot, regardless of which cue we are using. 😊

Bummed that the skinny kid did not get to do anything but break, he had more going for him than all the others. I think Earl caught that too, and therefore, he made sure to run out.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the same setup SVB played a group of amateurs. I wonder if this is at a learning facility or some kind of billiard university. Being able to get both Earl and Shane to come give exhibitions is pretty awesome. Cheers 🍻
Earl gets a raw deal from a lot of people. He played in 8 world 9 ball and US open championships and won them all. Reyes played in 4 won 2. Reyes longevity at a high level with amazing shots and cue skills made him a legend but Earl smoked him in Championships. Give the man his due. Best player in the world for over 10 years

Nothin was funnier than Earl vs Sigel. Earl had noise-cancelling pink noise headphones and (I think) every weight and big silly finger bandage on. Sigel chatters even more! Thanks for grabbing this -i never woulda found it probably.
